Crazy story: When I first saw Finn's dad when I was 8, since my dad was really nice, I was absolutely shocked at the concept of Finn's dad being a deadbeat, to the point where I went to my father and asked him, "Dad, can people really act that way towards their sons?"

I think Finn having a shitty dad was a really good choice and I know it resonated a lot with me as a kid, you always hear things like 'like father like son' and 'the apple never falls far from the tree' so to have a character who can have a bad father but make a decision to be better than him was helpful to see.
I mean it’s quite clear that Finn inherited some of his father’s con artist skills, remember how he killed the Fight King?
Context: The lich’s primary function is to cause mass death but being in Prismos time room with no way out meant he was caught in a deadlock
But upon learning that he could kill Prismo in order to leave he was able to move to continue his plan to end all life
Finn losing his arm is the most heartbreaking scene in adventure time, i remember watching It when the episode came out years ago, i was so shocked

seasons 6-7 are the start of what I call "the ultimate finn growth arc"
I have to say, my absolute favorite thing about this show is how they just let things happen. The world changes, the characters change, and sometimes it’s permanent, and sometimes it’s not. But it still goes on. This feeling of continuance and legacy and some things line up and some don’t. I think it’s one of the overall themes of this show after all. And it will definitely become more apparent especially later, how some things change, and some things stay the same.

The Lich was frozen in the first place because he couldn’t cause mass death, but when he heard that by killing prismo, he could get to the citadel and cause mass death, he unfroze

To answer for Lich not moving. He doesn’t see a reason to move while in prismo room. There is no reason to kill or cause destruction to these god-like beings, since they seemingly can’t be harmed. He can move, he is just deciding not to, he is waiting for an opportunity, which can with prismo’s real body.

Prismo tried to say that the Litch is stuck as long as he doesn't have a way to create destruction.
Killing a wish master was his big chance to creare destruction so he went for it.
The purpose of the lich is to be an extinction event. He doesn't just want to kill, he wants to kill EVERYTHING simultaneously. Without a method to do that he is useless, until he found the monsters of the cydidel
I would totally live in Wizard City, that place looks dope and is probably the most secure place in the entire world occupying the same space as a mountain and having those hard core wizard cops there, plus you could learn magic and buy enchanted swag there
just watch out for the jerk wizards there. One of the gonna try to curse you on your first day there for sure.
@@Elipson52008 I'm not sure if curses in AT work like that, if memory serves the only example we have of a curse is the grass sword and that had to be given to someone with them willingly excepting it for that to work, just don't take any candy from sketchy old dudes and you'll be fine

So here’s an explanation for the litch, when prismo said the litch couldn’t operate because he couldn’t cause death, he meant there were no open opportunities worth escaping due to the confines of the prismo zone. But when the corporeal prismo was brought over, that opened an opportunity for a kill, which would later result in his sending to the citadel, thereby freeing him from the prismo zone so he can wreak death and chaos. Hope this makes sense.

okay the time room prevents murder so the lich couldn't kill anyone while there in the time room so he wouldn't move since the lichs only purpose is to kill so once it was clear to the lich that waking up oldman prismo would allow him to kill again he got up and did it

The episode where finn is tiny and lost in a tree is the worst but that might be where the squirrel that hates Jake is from since Jake and lady were there having a picnic
