First time playing through the game.
Sequel to Digital Devil Saga 1. After finishing DDS1, and enjoying it alot (beside high encounter rate) the story was actually good and motivated me to start DDS2.

This guy looks like a nightmare for low level run, hits like truck, three turns and resist magic. Wish many secret/extra bosses could be like him. Love how the battle is balanced and design. Seth should have much more cameos in SMT games.

Seth is frankly a complete joke - if you have everyone in human form, and varry Null Phys, Null Element, and Null Ailment, Seth is left starved for options

Had to come back to this classic, to me this is top tier boss design. Prep and have a solid game plan and you are fine but slip a little and you will get destroyed.

I have never seen Seraph's 'gun' animation or the like before today.
I guess that's a testament to how useless they are outside of battles like these. Though I should ask, what is Seth's gimmick? Obviously he's weak to gun, but does he just repel/block all else?

How come you chose to forfeit the last half-turn instead of using it to use a basic attack or something, even if it would have been resisted? Chip damage couldn't hurt.

Man, you are really good. I couldn't defeat him without the turn ring. Towards the end he just keeps doing Dekaja/Dekunda/Debilitate and Ragnarok which also decreases my defense plus desert wind. It is a true pain fighting this shithead without the turn ring. With it, this fight becomes a joke. Maybe I could have defeated without the turn ring if I grinded and leveled up my party members from the 70s to like 90s.
