This games deserves a HD Remaster.
With the first one being remastered, hopefully, it'll get done.
@applejuicejunkie316 both prime 2 and 3 will get remasters for the switch however it will not be as powerful as the prime remaster, it will still be remasterd but not to the extent of prime 1. I hope it will look good tho.

@@Sephiroth69 This is news to me. I knew 2 & 3 were getting remastered, but I’ve heard nothing of them being made visually inferior to the first one.
@@jakethedog1483 rumors flying around that retro was only doing the remaster for the 1st one to establish a base of what the other 2 should look like. The new studio that ports over 2 and 3 are meant to look at what retro did for 1 and use that as a base.
This is honestly my favorite prime game in the trilogy.
The weapons, bosses, and atmosphere is just simply masterful. This game deserves a full remaster like the original
I agree 100%. Especially the boss fights are a blast! A remaster would be the best that could happen.
Getting the equipment here is at least worth it for in the first game you solve puzzles or simply find them.
Unfortunately, the Caves of Magmoor is the only area without a boss.
The only game where Samus saves an entire race from going extinct. Most of the games feature a planet or planets where it’s inhabitants have already wiped out. So this game feels like something fresh.
Also it's the first game where you get other suits upgrades (Dark and Light) instead of Varia and Gravity suits.
what about prime hunters?
Quadraxis is still one of my favorite bosses from the Prime series. Such a massive and epic fight.
Truly a rival for Raven Peak BOSS (Metroid Dread)
It will be glorious to see Chykka in all it's glory of they ever decide to make a remaster of this game
They might, since they recently remastered the original Metroid Prime game. Heck, if they also make a remaster of Prime 3 i might commit to playing the full trilogy on Switch (beaten Prime 1 for the GameCube while my Prime 2 progress is up to the Alpha Blogg).
God, the Prime series' art direction was phenomenal. This game still looks gorgeous to this day, especially when upscaled.

This game is such a huge step up from Prime 1. I forgot how much I love this game after playing the remaster of 1. I can't wait to get this remaster!

I think they want to sell them separately and over a period of time for extra money

This is without a doubt the hardest Metroid game of all time was very proud to be this as a kid
"No Boss Damage", a fitting description of doing a hitless boss run in Metroid Prime 2 since most of the Dark Aether boss fights come before acquiring the Light Suit. It would also work for a hitless boss run in Metroid Prime 3 because of how several bosses require the use of the Phazon-based Hypermode to defeat.
I don't care what anyone says, I adore this game and think it's an underrated masterpiece. It's bosses, minus a few exceptions, are no different.
Yeah I feel the same way about Metroid Samus Returns.

Couldn't agree more. It was just a case of releasing at the wrong time.
It's the 2nd least good out of the Prime game, but it is still a great game because the Prime series (minus Prime Hunters) is fantastic.
@The Venomspino Prime Hunters was a pretty decent for a DS game in my opinion.
After seeing what they did to Metroid Prime 1, they gotta remaster Metroid Prime 2
When you see all the different attacks Dark Samus performs in her boss battles both in this game and the next, it shows just how much potential she could’ve had in super smash bros ultimate if gave her an original moveset instead of making her a Samus clone.
Nothing made me more angry than seeing her become a clone fighter.
That Emperor Ing fight was hella impressive to watch

Most of the Prime bosses are easy, but going through them without taking damage is absurdly difficult! Masochists would have had a hayday if developers added Dread mode to these games!
I agree. While the first Prime game is my favorite of the trilogy, it had the easiest bosses compared to the latter 2
The only boss I died first time playing the game ever at like 8 years old was Thardus
The hardest thing in that game wasn’t the bosses but the first run through Phazon mines dealing with the beam troopers, invisible sentries and longest gap between the saving room
In Prime 2, that damn boost guardian was a nightmare, especially on the hardest setting but seeing this video, best course of action is to stay out of morph ball while it does it’s boost attacks. The only other boss I almost died too first time around was the spider guardian, the second hardest boss imo
As for Prime 3, don’t remember it too well but the second Leviathan I died too but the other bosses were not bad at all besides the final boss
I have always been a fan of the whole dark vs. light\good vs. evil theme. So this game holds a special place in my heart. I have the trilogy and this game I have played too many times to count. Always 100% completion.
boost guardian, quadraxis and the emperor ing are the hardest to beat without taking damage in my opinion. nice video dude. You are the first to beat them without taking a hit from the bosses.
Boost Guardian is specifically considered the hardest boss in the game, between limited replenishment resources, no light zone in the arena, and those mini-spawns that may show up

You can reduce the time during phase of the full grown Ing Emporer when using the Screw Attack against his head.
During Dark Samus it's recommend to use the Dark Beam for even against her it has the poisonous effect, which is quite useful during hard mode.
Actually, you dont screw atrack its head
Theres a hitbox under the emporer ing, between all of iys legs, if you can screw attack that hit box you do a ton of damage and more depending how long you screw atrack in that hitbox
You know you've done it when the emporer ing gets pushed away from hitting that hitbox
I seen people kill the emporer ing final phase with one screw attack, i reccommend watching speedruns
You can also screw attack dark samus too
I believe on the wiki if I remember it says despite Dark Samus’s name ane being able to thrive in dark Aether, she is weaker to the dark beam instead of light due to her being created in the normal (non dark world) world
I believe it's only a matter of time until Echoes gets remastered.

6:29 so hear me out: he took damage when he walked in. But it’s considered “Thermal Damage”, not “boss damage”.
(Yes, I know there are some later parts where there is unavoidable damage, but be calm, it’s just part of the game).

The mutated Emperior Ing reminds me of Metroid Prime from the first game because the movements are very similar.
Looking back at this after prime remastered. I think that echoes definitely needs it just to tweak a few things like the cryptic backtracking and navigation between light and dark Aether can make this game shine much brighter.

My favorite Metroid game. Absolutely amazing.
As someone who's played the first two primes on gamecube and then playing 3 on the wii, the wii controls massively improve the combat in the remakes of the first two as far as I can see. Boost guardian was always a pain in the ass because your aim wasn't as free in the original two. The only way to aim was turn toward the enemy, stay put, and fire or in fights like boost guardian with the inglets spawning in, you had to lock on to each one, kill it, rinse and repeat for the rest all while hopping around a boost guardian that at some points you have no idea where it's at because it's out off camera, lol. Good times, good times
Also before anyone points it out, I meant to delete the "out" that's right before "off" but my phone had other plans I guess. 🤦
I also noticed a difference in sound, I don't know how to explain.. But some bombs and metalic effects are a pitch strange
Spider Guardian hitless. Man, the Wii version of this game made this boss so much easier.

Echoes have the best boss battles in the Prime series, and Quadraxis is one of best boss battles ever!
This would be one of the best Metroid games ever if it wasn’t so long, tedious, and boring to navigate. The environments, enemies, music, and ofc atmosphere are amazing.

Here’s an idea I had for a Metroid game; an item that would allow you to switch between using “Arm Cannon mode” and “Sword mode.” Essentially Samus’ cannon would retract, allowing her right hand to be free and wield a high-tech looking sword. I personally think this would make the gameplay much better than it already is, especially if it was incorporated into the first-person prime games.
I read the description of the video, and atmospheric damage is technically considered taking damage, but for this vid, that doesn't apply.

I have fond memories of 1 because of my grandfather but echoes is my personal favorite. Locations were so good, Torvus being my favorite. So many good region soundtracks torvus subterranean being 1 because it’s a tweaking of super Metroid lower brinstar and sanctuary fortress being the other. So many good bosses and power ups. It’s funny that people complained about the boss keys like they expected the final boss of each region to just have its front door open and waiting.

How many tries did each boss take? Can't help but feel jealous. I think I died to almost every one fo the bosses.
44:03 I swear the jumps you did at the last bomb slot activated my fight or flight response. Doing the jumps with bombs back on the original was hell. That is the only part of the fight I remember. This mini boss can go to hell.
I renember when i played this game, the graphics looked were very ahead of its time
Beating the boost guardian without getting hit was done by luck only and I refused to be convinced otherwise
Shame that Dark Samus didn't get a proper full character in Smash.

Boost Guardian: This fight was way harder than it had to be at this point, and it pinballed everwhere

Spider Guardian gives me nightmares to this day. Even using Save States on Dolphin I went through hell to beat it. 😵💫

I will say the boost guardian was nerfed in the trilogy so I will need proof from the GameCube version to actually believe no damage. Sorry but I am a die hard metroid fan.
Amorbis hit you, hence the title is wrong.
At no point was he hit, Dark Aether’s atmosphere doesn’t count neither does letting himself get swallowed. That part is required to damage the Amorbis so the title stays true.
