Sequel to Digital Devil Saga 1. After finishing DDS1, and enjoying it alot (beside high encounter rate) the story was actually good and motivated me to start DDS2.

I simply must ask.
How many tries did it take for you to beat-down Meganada? I'd find it hard to believe somebody, even if spoiled on how Meganada works, would win first try given the sheer party wiping potential it has.

Because I never use Repel, Drain or null barriers it took me some attempts to realize it's lightning attack can't be tanked without that. Also, it caught me off guard a few times when it's in physical mode and then switches to the lightning attack. After knowing those things it wasn't that bad, he's pretty much scripted.
Maybe around 10 attempts.

That's pretty shallow considering this seems to be most people's Sleeping Table equivalent, in persona 3 terms, when it comes to DDS.
And yeah, imagine if they had made Meiru Thunder almighty instead of elec?

i did walk into shiva first tbf, not knowing it was an optional at the time soooooooo yeah. i was taking no risks
