Digital Devil Saga Avatar Tuner Demi-Fiend(Human Serph, Low Level)

- Continuing the low level challenge on New Game Plus(Challenge Run Playlist: czcams.com/users/playlist?list.... Argilla, Cielo, and Human form Serph takes on Demi-Fiend at Level 55. While the level scaling penalty is not nearly as bad as a Level 20 party. Cielo's spell at Level 55 is still nowhere as potent as a Level 99 caster. Mind Charge + Celestial Ray with Debilitate only does ~900 damage on a high roll to Demi-Fiend compare to ~1100 damage at Level 99.
Demi-Fiend ground rules:
- Demi-Fiend will use Gaea Rage if the party uses any skills that change the resistance of the party to Block, Repel, and Drain(ie Null passives, and any shield skills).
- The demon that Demi-Fiend summons must be defeated before their internal action counter reaches 30, else they will use Recamdra fully healing Demi-Fiend and the remaining demon on the field. Dekaja/Dekunda does not count toward the internal counter.
- Every time Demi-Fiend summons Pixie or Parvati and after they cast Dormina for the first time, Demi-Fiend will use Gaea Rage.
- When Demi-Fiend's HP is dropped below 50% for the first time either his Demon or himself(when no Demon are present on the field) will use Mediarahan. This only happens once per battle.
General Tactic:
- Since the major of Demi-Fiend's attacks are physical skills, except for his Normal attack which is Almighty, the major of the damage will come from Serph's Counter attacks. Serph has all of the Counter passive skills to increase the odds of having a counter attack triggered.
- Keep each party member under Aliment for as long as possible! Argilla & Cielo Stunned to protect them from Mute and Serph Muted to prevent Stun which prevent any form of Counter attack.
- Whenever it is appropriate, keep the Demi-Fiend's Demon distracted with Dekaja/Dekunda to prevent them from using their dangerous ability .

Only use a buff or debuff when Girimekhala moves first to prevent him from using Mamudoon, else keep the Defense at neutral with Dekunda and let Cu Chulainn use Taunt to keep Girimekhala distracted with Dekaja.

Pixie will always move first, use Sukukaja whenever possible to keep Arahabaki distracted since Pixie ignores Sukukaja. Between Arahabaki and Pixie, Arahabaki's movesets are far more dangerous, especially Gate of Hell. Pixie is not very threatening until any party member, including herself, reaches 50% HP or lower, where she will start using Vanity in an attempt to inflict the party with dangerous aliments.

Parvati like Pixie will ignore Sukukaja, use this fact to distract Titania whenever possible. Use Debilitate to keep the buff on the enemy side under control, if things get too out of hand use a Dekaja rock to reset the buff counter on the enemy.

Whilst watching this I couldn't help but think that whilst everyone else is throwing around high-powered magic and physical attacks Serph's just, every now and again, saying: "Okay, but have you considered. GUN?"
jokes on Demi-fiend, cause, despite having dealt with Dante/Raidou back in the conception, he still didn't know what the hell a gun was.

One of the most insane runs I've seen, this fight alone is one of the most brutal in all of Megaten and JRPGS, i always love seeing these type of fights at low level, it showcases that sheer determination and strategy. would be screaming 😭

Despite being done at Level 99 with maxed out stats, it is a RNG nightmare where if Satan decided to use the wrong move at the wrong time(ie Debilitate spam, or Mamudoon during Temptation) means it is Game Over.
@@yuzu7361 I'll definitely give it a watch too, these fights are some of the most challenging because of how they're designed, when people challenge themselves even further with these rules?? Makes it even more crazy to watch
I love how Serph doesn't even look accomplished at the end. He just looks exhausted
Serph was just relieved that the team survived against the toughest enemy in the Junkyard.

Do you think having the critical passive + Max/Min critical would've been helpful instead of the counters?
Sadly the Critical passive & Min/Max Critical do not work on Gun attacks.
In the Digital Devil Saga games, Critical & Min/Max Critical will show they are in effect whenever scoring a critical hit using Demon form's normal attack, which does not happen when scoring a critical hit using Gun attacks.
