  • After short usage of time (around 140km range) the scooter started cutting off at around 55 volts. Looks like defective battery.

hi from france guys! You don't have a lao ti30 group on facebook at home, where you can find all the tips and how to solve problems with your ti30? First, when you pull too hard on your ti30, when it reaches 58 volts of memory, it's normal, it stops and goes into safety. Example on the dualtrons a beeper warns you that you are in the red, because you are using the battery too much, it is the same on the Laotian but without the warnings of a diode, it is up to you to monitor the voltage and as soon as you go down to 58 volts, go back to eco and single mode. If your scooter is blocked because you have exceeded this limit, open your deck, disconnect the battery, wait 30 seconds, reconnect it and go again. It's logical, 21700 cells cannot be completely discharged in 1 hour, otherwise they are HS. For the most handymen also remove the yellow boxes under the deck between the controllers and the motors, make clean welds and make a connection system by XT150 6mm ... just to avoid holes in the acceleration on the road and fires .. ..

Heh wish it was that easy. I've tried unlocking but you can't till the charger is plugged in. Long story short the battery cost a fortune and had to be replaced as it was defective. No support from the manufacturer or Banggood.

Banggood has a very poor warranty. You have to send dozens of videos, etc. Then they agree to send a new part, but the "postage costs" are equal to the price of the part.

    It is a recurring problem.
Apparently it is possible to correct the problem by welding a resistor on the bms. Info to check

Its not a problem , if the voltage its below 51 volts in throttle , the controler shut down everything , and you cannot start enything ! I have the same scooter but named GOGOTOPS , 60V ,38 AMPS, 5600W . Its a little bit weird ..but ..thats it .

I've sent the scooter for diagnostics in the local shop, where they are going to do charge/discharge and range test to see what the problem is.

@@Gillete13bmsp In my case it will require new battery plus suspension repair. I have the scooter from around 6+ months and around 150km on the clock. Bangood didn't do any support and they have suggested to try replace the battery myself, which is insane as it costs like half of the price. Other silly suggestion from them was to return the scooter not to the EU country I've bought the item, but to China. DHL will charge me around 8k for the request which is insane!

  • @frantisekkober6005

I think that there is no problem, because battery is at 0% in 48V, bms can cut off around 51v. When you are around 54-55v and floor it, then voltage drops bellow 51v and bms cuts power. You just have to start it again with charger

    • @frantisekkober6005
