    after 400 miles on the scooter i think my tire got a small leak...pinch flat...i pump tire and after few hrs or over 24 hr its starts loosing air...one day could remember rode on this really bad road and very bumpy... should of known to immediately take a different route... now i dont even know how to replace the tire or take it off if it's any complicated like the motor or brakes are attached onto the wheel/tire??... i have bike glue was thinking about patching the hole for the tube...i also remember doing a few tire burns cause when riding idiots like people just walks right out onto bike lane without looking and while on their phone so forced me to apply brakes hard and made tire burning sound not sure if that will contribute to my inner tube going flat???

      Any electric scooter will lose speed as the battery drops on voltage. Voltage drives how fast the dc motor spins. More voltage = higher speed. @@MissHitAllTheTimethe worst thing you can do to a lithium battery is run it too low. You can charge it anytime without degrading it. Just doesn’t make sense to me why anyone would wait until the battery gets near the low limit to charge it. 1) it will take a lot longer to charge. 2) risk going to low and degrading the pack 3) You have less power, torque, speed when the battery is low. No benefit to doing that whatsoever.

      You ran the battery to the point the motors quit. It’s going to take
      awhile to hit full charge again. Another reason to not run it so low. Needs longer time on the chargers. if you have a dc voltmeter, measure the output of the questionable charger. Should be 67. 2v. I am not using the stock chargers. I use a single 5A charger. Charges a bit faster than the two stock 2A chargers together.

I’ve noticed when I put mine at 100% then switched back to 25% (nothing else changed that I remember) it felt slower not like how I first took it out of the box…weird and this is in 1st gear. Eco mode crawls it goes like 3 mph…could slightly be exaggerating that but still slow. Dual motor is too punchy ..feels like it’s going to do a wheelie…scary stuff lol

    • @Desert-Ecruising
      @Desert-Ecruising  Před 10 měsíci +1

      When the chargers turn green the battery is fully charged and will be at around 67.2v. The chargers are only trickle charging after they turn green so you won’t overcharge the bay, plus the battery has a protection circuit for that. Just unplug the chargers after they go green as soon as you get a chance. You won’t damage the battery unless you leave the chargers on for days.

    Hello my friend. So I got that fantastic deal on the TI30. I'm just waiting patiently. Anyway, quick question. I've been seeing these issues online of people complaining about the TI30 having issues when they run the voltage below 51 volts. After they do that they can't seem to get the scoot to charge. Any advice on what not to do as far as voltage is concerned. I don't understand a whole lot about these batteries or electronics for that matter but I do know these batteries can be sensitive if you abuse them and don't take care of them. I appreciate any information you can give. Thanks again.

      @Desert-Ecruising  Před 10 měsíci +1

      That’s true for any LIPO pack in any scoot. Has nothing to do with the scoot brand. It’s the user’s fault for running the battery below the limit.

      @@Desert-Ecruising I really appreciate how you respond and interact taking the time to help people out. As you said, I believe the majority of problems people are having is due to abuse and operator error. I watched your video on battery care a second time and I'll follow the instructions to the letter. One thing I'm confused about is you said these batteries are lipo? That's what I mean about being ignorant of these things. I kept calling the battery a lithium ion. Anyway, not to take up too much of your time, to be safe, I should never run the battery to below 54 volts? That seems to give a cushion just to be safe. Thanks again for all the info and help. It'll save me a lot of time, money and headaches.

    • @Desert-Ecruising
      @Desert-Ecruising  Před 10 měsíci +1

      Lithium ion and lithium polymer (LIPO) are basically the same just made from different materials. I didn’t realize it was lithium ion, it doesn’t say that on the battery. My other scoots are LIPO so I assumed this was too. Regardless, if you stick to what I show in the video, you’ll be good. 54v is plenty safe. Also, disregard the displayed voltage while riding. Check voltage when not moving.
