hey quick question I have 2012 altima with a aftermarket sound system 2 12s amp head unit door speakers and about 2 months ago everything stopped, I thought the bad wiggles a wire because it played then cut off ect. It finally stopped and I started hitting or tapping the dash and it would play for a few minutes then it absolutely syoooed and my head unit is cracked. My ac contrails still work but I don’t know if it’s a wire or the head unit that’s gone. Now that I cracked the head unit I’m going to get another one installed but was curious as to what the problem could’ve been
Very informative step by step process! 👍
I have a Nissan altima S sedan 2011 and I'm interested on replace the stock CD radio, but no audio controls included on the steering wheel, could be a problem please advise. I saw the video great tutorial.
Great video! Thanks
Glad you liked it!
Hey! My Nissan Altima doesn’t have a volume control on the steering wheel, will that have any conflict with the wiring process
Is it necessary to replace the speakers when installing a new head unit in this vehicle?
1:55 what are all the other plugs in the radio for?
Mine only uses 2, the main one & the antenna one.
Great informative video! I’m not quite sure of doing all that myself, what’s an approximate cost to have someone do this for me?
Call around to see your local shop price.
i see the ring terminal you have of the ground but it looks like you soldered the ground together when soldering the harnesses. where is that pigtail/ring terminal coming from? the unit-side plug or the car-side (white) plug
So I installed a kenwood aftermarket radio and a dual radio from Walmart. Everything was connected correctly wiring wise. I was getting power from and to both aftermarket hu. Both hu wouldn’t turn on. I didn’t have the antenna adapter tho. Would that be a possible reason why
I have a 2016 Altima - can I link up the factory camera? Is there is a kit for that?
How is this with directions? I’m getting one installed in my 2012 Nissan Altima and I’m worried because the screen is somewhat low so I would almost have to look down to see the directions
what does the crux do? i didn’t see you connect it at the end.
This is awesome :-)
My screen works sometimes and sometimes it doesn’t. Recently it’s been not working more than it does. Also the volume fluctuates and the sound quality drops after playing music for a bit. Trying to figure out what to do from here
Thanks so much! I just have a quick question regarding the blue wire that's attached to the antenna housing.. what does that get attached to? Thanks for a great video!
If your radio doesn’t have a power antenna output wire, just tie it into the red accessory of the radio. It just amplifies the circuit for the radio for better reception.
Thanks so much.@@ProvoBeastAudio
I just installed an aftermarket radio to my altima 13 and there is no sound. I've seen videos where mention the amp cable not being powered. How can i fix it.
Send us a message on Facebook and we can assist.
Ive always installed my own head units but my altima i just got has a bose system in it so it has a factory amp. So any head unit i tried to install amplifies the output to send it to the stock amp and its just not working for me. I might try to have someone install it for me
hello great video, but whats about the quality sound? its great o definitly find other?
Sounds much better over stock, but you get what you pay for.
I don’t see the flush mount adapter installation link?
i’m confused if i need a bluetooth harness? i have a 2012 nissan altima
Is there a video link for the hdmi/rca usb flush mount at 11:21?
What type of glue did you use for the USB mounts?
Great and clearly instructed video.
he just used hot glue. sometimes hot glue can snap apart :/
I have a 2010 Altima S sedan. It's an old car but I'm still in it all the time. Various parts of the system are starting to go out so I want to replace it. Im going with a 'mech-less ' stereo. Don't need navigation or all the extras. Just a factory compatible system with Bluetooth so I can play from my phone. Crutchfield recommended a JVC KD-X280BT. Can you tell me the additional parts I need for installation? My car does not have navigation & there are steering wheel controls.

May I know is there any person is there to fit the double din back up camera and dashcam
Hey, I did the same set up with same car as yours but when I put car in reverse the camera image has wavy lines in the picture. Do you have this situation?
Nope. You may have a bad connection, bad camera, or a combination of the two. Feel free to send me a message on facebook and we can figure out the issue.
Hi, Provo Beast I install a radio but the headunit shuts off when i turn it uo to max volume. Can you help me with this?
don’t turn to max volume 💪
Can a 7 inch radio work?
Is it possible to save $60 by not buying the crux thing if I don't care about radio? I don't have volume controls on my model so that also doesn't matter.
I'd just be using Bluetooth to the radio, and need the speakers.
Long shot, but I figured it's worth asking.
Without the factory Bose amp or steering wheel volume controls, yes all you need is the basic harness. amzn.to/3t41PTQ
Does anyone know if this head unit is WIRELESS CarPlay and AndroidAuto?
it does yes
how many inches is your touch screen stereo bro 😊
Standard double din radio, regardless of screen size. Most double din largest screen is up to 7", and anything bigger is a float mount style.
Do you know if 2012 radio fit in 2008 ?
How do I connect the factory rear view camera to the radio?
With this harness: amzn.to/40FWxtb
how much would it cost to have someone do it for me?
prolly like 150
150? Are you sure?
It all depends on where your from
@@uknxlfbgrm4338 yeah I was charged 85$
I installed it for free on my hr lunch break it’s plug and play damn near
