If you want razor straight roads, first build a field - using the fertility markers as reference points - with the long edge aligned to where you want you road to be. The final two points on the field should be placed to make the field form a very long, very thin triangle with the long edge where you want your road to be. Then, place the road from the snap point at the center of the field's long side, pull it out to the edge of you long side. Then repeat for the other half of that long edge. There you go. A perfectly straight road. Now, delete the field and repeat for all your other outline roads.
You are doing a fantastic job, TC working out the designs and money/food consumption, If there are not enough viewers there certainly should be. Thank you for putting so much time and effort into your videos and I'll be watching your guides for sure.
Thank you!
I might suggest that the problem with views could be connected to the length of your videos. Most people have short attention spans. You may have a lot more views with a lot of short videos than you do with high-quality long videos.
This is a 5 hour stream from someone with 18,400 subscribers and the video has 5,400 views. That's ~29% of subscribers.
Linus Tech Tips is a channel with 15.4 million subscribers. They have live streams that are several hours in length. Those typically get around 600,000 views. That's between 3% and 4% of subscribers.
TactiCat is doing INCREDIBLY well by comparison.
5 hours or 5 min. Quality is quality.
I love your style in farthest frontier. And have been counting on your content for manor lords.
Love these guides! You literally saved my game thank you
I don’t even have the game and I’ve been watching all the content. 👍🤙 Aloha from Maui
Thank you!
Love the new design and the efficiency of the Bender layout.
Forester tip... I have noticed when i have them do smaller area than one giant one, they plant a lot more efficiently. Maybe its just me but when i do a massive broad area it never works for me.
I've noticed similar with Logging camps and Woodcutters too, they seem less efficient when you give them big "controlled" areas. Seem to work better either uncontrolled or with smaller areas
Really enjoy your videos and your approach, especially your pace as it is easy to follow and makes a ton of sense. Your content is my goto as it matches the way I like to think about the game. Thank you :)
On you comment about Farthest Frontier. I think you are one of the best. Yes, Raptor might have a good following with it, but he just "plays" the game. You actually go into the mechanics, efficiencies, and intricacies. You're playthroughs have so much more value. Would I like to see you play more FF, for sure, but I also love the change up and playing another game. I wasn't sure I was going to like Manor Lords at first, but you make it shine.
I’ll return to FF again it just irks me my content doesn’t get the same attention relative to others who provide entertainment value only
Love this. I don't care about pretty villages, I want efficiency!
Excellent content. I’m learning a lot from your videos. Keep up the great work.
I’ve used the field tool to remove trees and brush. I can confirm that even if you build it over the berries they do not disappear and then remove the field and build a road around them. They don’t have to be covered in trees at all.
I’ll need the play around with that more thank you! I’m wondering if the bushes can be cut down lol
Roads definitely make the bushes disappear - I did that once. Perhaps the logging camp would cut the bushes but placing a field doesn't?
Didn't know corpse pit is really good unit of measurement haha
Why don't you pause construction of the Corpse pits instead of constantly demolishing them?
you can assign soldier to a group by selecting them and Ctrl + Number, like all soldier of X type on 1, Y type on 2 etc etc, or build different group mixed type what ever you got the point. it makes easier to manage battle sometimes
and about your 'north) forester, think about it also at march, they need a full season to plant & grow iirc
Just found your channel while searching for Captain of Industry tips! Glad to know you do Farthest Frontier content also. I just subscribed... like the content!
This has given me a lot to think about on my next play though, thank you.
Very entertaining and great to watch/listen to as i do house chores
Thank you!
Just motivated me to start the game all over again built a couple of successful ones just end up hating the designs but these benders are 🔥🔥
Just to put the "bender" into perspective. 180 veggies will feed 15 families for a full year. In the early game that is quite powerful
love your videos!!! I did my first close to what yours was and loved it! Can't wait to try this one out!
Add an extra veggie bender with the new patch
Oh good call! They did nerf those.
Awesome. Can’t wait to go though this. Thanks for posting.
Thank you for watching!
Give it time for growth homie videos are forever and the game is new
Great content. Appreciate your work to helping us out.
As usual, over the top!
can you do like a 2 minute version of this
I just posted screenshots of a possible burggage/farmplot layout in the Manor Lords Screenshots. Not sure how effective it is at the moment but I somehow got ~85% farmland and two houses.
I was toying around with triangles last night - I’m trying to get one of meaningful size to line up as it would make a great road network for my 3k build
@@TacticatGaming I would love a tool to help with angles like CitiesSkylines but I guess that would take away the organic medieval feel -- but then again the Middle Ages had great strides and innovations in mathematics
Amazing video! I totally recommend it.
Great vid. Learning a lot
My veggie plot keep overstorage when harvest whit like 5 granary arround .. i dont know if is a bug..i like idea of some kind of info of what a plot produce / store ahahaha stole log by other region is awesome lool
You can buy raw clay, make tiles and sell them for a profit without ever mining clay
Uses a scientifically calculated system of construction. Borrows from Picasso when planting fields. Arts and sciences... =^[.]^=
Hi, battlerite is not supported anymore. I played it years ago was a good time
Question - when I get my flax grown and turned into linen - why do my burgages want linen AND leather in the market stall enough for 1 per house of each? I would have thought the leather alone already satisfied that 1st clothing desire point. Only once they have that need fulfilled, will my tailor start making clothes from the linen.
They want 1 of each - you get a moral boost if you supply more than what is needed
@@TacticatGamingOk thank you, makes sense. You’re an exemplary content creator, sir.
Wonder how will you deal with the over overproduced food? It seems apple or vegi will keep acccumlating and to a point that break the supply and export seems very buggy or can't control the number
tithe or sell it
Can't wait for multiplayer
