Hey Sean! Long-time lurker, first time responder. You did a great job on this video. I am a Vision pilot. I bought mine new in 2014. I was not even in the market for this type of bike when I was shopping back then! I have put over 40,000 miles on this beautiful machine since and have not had a single problem. I was not even aware of the brand back then when I was shopping for bikes. I went down to the dealership to check out the new Indian Chieftain, which I was intrigued by when I heard about it but absolutely HATED when I actually saw it and rode it. Old lookin', cramped, the engine was nice but it signed off too early, just a real shit show. Couldn't get off the thing fast enough.
Then the sales person offered to let me ride a Victory. Again, I knew nothing of the brand, but I said "sure, why not." What a revelation. I rode the Cross models, all of them, and they were all great. I was leaning towards the Cross Country when he said "I have one more for you to try". And there was the Vision. It was like nothing I had ever seen. And when my ass hit the seat, I knew this was the one. There is nothing else like this bike. This machine handles better than any big bike I have ever ridden before or since. And the comfort is unmatched. I am an every day rider, and this bike handles that duty flawlessly. I will never give this bike up! I'm gonna ride it "TILL THE WHEELS FALL OFF" !!

Never met a Harley than could keep up with me in the high speed twists... There is nothing like the Vision out there. I see a Harley I pass a Harley. The Wing is close but isn't remotely close to comfort and style. Haters get to ride behind me (no choice of their own). Fantastic Bike...

I own 2 Visions. I weigh 155 lbs and I'm 5'6" and it fits me , that's the beauty of the Vision. It fits such a wide range of riders. Agreed, it is arguably the greatest touring motorcycle ever made. I also own an Indian Roadmaster . While it is a good touring bike, it isn't a Vision.

Yes, you do have a nice collection. I'd like to have a road master as well. I just picked up a 14 vision. My first ride was 650 miles. Was pleasantly surprised at it's handling and cornering thru the canyons. I'm 5'9 and thinking of lowering 1". Not sure I can get it out of the seat. Have you lowered your vision?

I have a friend who’s 6’3” and bought a Vision a few years back. He chose it after he and his wife test drove several bikes at Daytona bike week. She loved the pillion seat. It’s been his daily transportation since. He doesn’t own a car. Commuting, long weekend rides, cross country trips, the bike has performed flawlessly. Zero mechanical problems. The only issues he’s had are some of the plastic parts breaking. Overall it is a great bike.

Because of you Sean, I am about to buy a 2009 Victory Vision Tour, Arlen Ness series, with a 110 cu in upgrade. My wife is going to flip out when I tell her that Sean recommended that I add another motorcycle to the herd... Since I have a Goldwing 1500SE, Road King CVO 103 and a Softail Heritage Springer Evo motor, in the garage right now, you better hide your phone Sean, it is about to blow up with a "What the heck were you thinking Sean" type of comment from my wife. It might not be that nice, as she is a retired elementary teacher and you know that your ear is vulnerable to being pulled, while she drags you to the Principle's office!!!! She doesn't play well in the sandbox anymore since she is retired and has all that pent up years of ear pulling frustration.... Ohhhhh, you're in trouble now Sean!!!

Normally I would never do either of those things but I'll tell you what- I never regretted it. Now I ride a BMW K12r Sport so it's a whole different thing but I still think about my Hammer. Victory built good bikes with plenty of power and a low center of gravity making them very easy to ride. A sad but, I guess, inevitable end.

I absolutely love my Victory. That Victory concept @ 1:25 - 1:35 from 2001 is todays Indian fairing. That was enlightening. The Vision is arguably the best touring machine built at that time. Would have been interesting to see where it would have went. When I saw the latest iteration of the Gold Wing the first thing that I thought was Victory Vision. These history vids are fun. Most know if they watch a 2 year old video, used prices have changed over time, sometimes higher from inflation or if it is a collectable. Been riding street bikes for over 40 years and have owned several bikes. I have had 3 Victories , 2 of these being Visions. The good things I will say about them is they are very comfy and handle better than any other touring bike on the market and that includes the Gold Wing. I owned 1 of those also. Now for the bad. I had 2 Visions because the first one had an engine fire due to poor wiring and it took me over 6 months and hiring a lawer before this company would pony up for another bike. Also the paint and the build quality are 2nd rate in my opinion. Their motorers are great but the rest of the bike reminded me of something that was put together in some back woods garage. At this time Im on a Ultra CVO and no that Victory will not beat it in a race.
