I've done in excess of 34 years in jail it is a putrid life , We can think we are gangsters and rob banks and sell drugs , Have hundreds of thousand's of dollars in our pockets. Sleep with different women everyday drive fast cars and party hard . But at the end you do not respect stolen money, because you never earnt it honestly so you do not value it. You miss out on wasted years , lose touch with your kids and loved ones and life passes you bye . My advice to all young and older people is lead a good life work for your money ,And do not destroy your kids lives by not being in it . That comes from experience , The price you pay for being a criminal is not worth it.

Hey Spanian your vulnerability truely touched me and helped me relate to my own pain and personal struggle. Let me just say that i too have been absent from/estranged with my daughter due to relationship with ex turning nasty and in the fallout her immediately testifying a statement exaggerating a few half truths and adding more than a few fully fictional delusions/accusations, enough to destroy me in family court and ensure that their beurocracy of parenting courses and supervised visitation would be imposible to attend without me relocating a thousand km away from where I live and attended rehab with support from my family. The pain emotionally has felt like it's killing me at times. The guilt i feel about my ability to parent being lost because i was genuinely trying to get clean in order to be a good parent. I needed the support of my existing family for so long to get there that my ex has been able to avoid allowing me access very successfully for years because of the distance. I grew up in South West Sydney in the same time as him & as much as I used to “hate” the life there (especially as a female watching the men in my life go one by one), now I see how much it’s changed when I go back to visit… seeing & hearing Spanian honestly feels like coming home after years. Even just his voice alone, feels like family cause that’s all I knew growing up. So proud of him!!! Not many made it & he knows that so he respects it & doesn’t take it for granted 🫶🫶

📢 Let Spanian see his son as much as humanly possible!!! Don’t let the kid suffer & miss out cause of your personal feelings he has no part of & no choice in!!!! You don’t want him growing up, looking back & seeing you were the reason he didn’t have his Dad in his life much. Be your son’s hero, don’t give him something to resent you for later. It’s literally taking away half his childhood!!!! Don’t alter his life, let it go or at least separate the two things & put the boys feelings & what he deserves first. So many Mothers desperate for the kids Dad’s to want to be there. Let Spanian “keep him forever!!!” 🥺🥺

I will never understand people who deprive their children from the other parent out of spite. When the child grows up they’re going to see the truth and it will hurt them even more. It’s better to be mature and put the child first, properly co-parent, share custody 50/50 without petty drama for the child’s mental wellbeing. They are very innocent and should not have to experience the feelings of missing another parent in their life especially if the other parent tries so hard to be involved.

Completely agree! Kids aren’t pawns in some game, they’re precious beings. The only reason a child should be withheld from a parent is if they’re in any form of danger, abuse, neglect etc otherwise get over your shit and raise that baby alongside the other parent and give the child the chance to make up their own minds which they most definitely will.
