  • Lethal Company is a game created by Zeekerss which has captivated audiences in recent months with its suspenseful atmosphere, and horror aesthetics! In this video, we explore a homemade iceberg chart relating to the game and it's lore, mysteries, theories, mechanics, and cut content!
    ---------------
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: I made a cut to this video to remove a section about the Bracken Room. I gave some incorrect information in the section, and figured it was better to simply remove the segment instead of letting other future viewers be misled. Thanks to the folks who pointed out the errors to me, and I hope you enjoy the iceberg regardless. :)

Hey maybe someone already said it but the screams are real! But not through the walkie talkie though.
You can hear them through an old phone that you can find in facilitys. To be more precise you have to switch to this item to hear screams and then the signal is interupt.
I've tried to hear it across various locations but nothing changes wherever you are.
Hope that informations was a new one for you! x)

If you didnt know you can get inside the unused outdoor facility on experimentation by using an extension ladder dropped on the pipe next to that door you showed. I've been in there myself personally and explored the whole area in vanilla. The jump to get inside is really precise, but very much possible.

I feel like the "Golden Planet" is referring to Earth. Something happened to Earth that caused humanity to branch out all over the galaxy. "The Beast" swallowed Earth and the screams that the Sigurd crew hears are the people who remained on the planet when it happened.

Inside Experimentation - I actually got in and explored with some friends a few weeks ago after seeing the hole when running along the pipe. You can use two extension ladders to get in fairly easily and the game seemingly acts as if you are inside the facility when exploring. There is also an invisible catwalk with stairs that allows you to get up and down inside. The hole in the wall is likely the old fire escape location. I believe originally the game had some pre-determined inside areas like this then you went down an elevator to get to the randomly generated area (or there was no randomly generated area originally I cannot recall). I can get a clip together or show you how to get in using ladders if you would like

a friend and i play the game with a mod that rollsover the extra money we get from going over quota and fill up the next quota with the remainder, we do this since it's mostly just the 2 of us playing and we'd like to explore together and mitigate the worry of losing every item we collect 3-4 quotas ago when we both eventually die by selling everything we find in the 3 days.
we realized that when the rollover hits the next quota, we can keep going without being fired. each day after we don't go back to the company, the company buys the scrap for higher prices and seems to just keep increasing, so I'm guessing the buying rate is something that gets increased by 20%-30% each day and the day you get fired would increase the buying rate as well.
we didn't realize that's how it works until we decided to stay on Dine for 6 straight days, since we already went over quota thanks to rollover, and the company was buying our scrap at 198%

A few comments that might help:
    - The rooms behind the Main Entrance in Experimentation can be easily accessed by jumping from the Fire Exit's staircase onto the nearby pipes and using an Extension Ladder while on the pipe. When it doesn't have anything to lean on, it will deploy perfectly horizontal, acting like a makeshift bridge. The rooms themselves seem to be the typical developer testing grounds for the different textures, sound effects and more that are normally out of bounds.
    - The Jester, as well as other creatures in the game such as Forest Keepers especially, can also be slowed down or even stopped using a Radar Booster which can be purchased from the store. It will be given a random name from a limited selection and the terminal user is able to request a flash command, flashing the nearby players and creatures while it is on. It will briefly stop The Jester's winding but it will also reset its speed when fully out every time it's flashed, making it extremely effective. The Forest Keepers can also be stunned by them and may lose focus if they are chasing a crewmate.
    - Using a quota overflow mod, you are able to skip quotas entirely by selling everything at once and the new quotas will be simply deducted from the total sum, therefore increasing The Company's buy rate with each skipped quota. The most I have gotten is 170% and using the Discord Rich Presence mod, I noticed that days that are past the deadline are being counted in the negative, for example we were on -3 days when we went back to sell. Unfortunately, this is not possible without mods.

I think its possible that there is cloning or biomass imitation involved. Part of this is inspired by the "decoy suit" and the other half is sigurds degraded memeory. Alternatively its possible that jeb has some sort of mind corruption on living things. Another way this could be due to being 500 years in the future is jeb has found out how to clone the company personal but without any understanding of the functionality of the suits (most likely self contained radiation suits rather than traditional spacesuits) but because they are imitations it explains things like drowning or suffocating while seemingly having oxygen tanks on your back. Its also possible that jeb uses the people who are trapped behind the wall as this biomass which might explain why you can no longer hear the "voices behind the wall." The latter one to me seems to make more sense as it would explain a bit but not everything.

I agree with this. we know that there was a war brewing on titan (now abandoned, likely because of the war), and we know teleportation exists. we ALSO know that the computer terminal is not the same as what was used to originally document sigurd's logs due to the copyright of the terminal being so far away from the time that these logs were encrypted, and that the data has more than likely been passed down through different crews until it reached yours. not to mention, technology has developed differently in the world of lethal company, with space travel being achievable much earlier than in our world.
      1. it's highly likely that technology has advanced since sigurd's logs. for example, the terminal thing being different from what Desmond and sigurd probably used, and rich's body was unrecoverable in the logs, but with a teleporter, they would've easily retrieved it. in the 500 years of the company's existence, it's likely that technology has advanced to that extent.
      2. war always brings about new technology. I'm not saying the war on titan specifically brought about the invention of cloning technology. However, it's not unlikely that should cloning technology have been invented, it would have happened after the final log and because of a war. there were probably more wars after the war on titan, and on different planets, spanning on different scales during those 500 years.
my theory about this is mainly based on how war seems to be subliminally emphasised. Sigurd's mention of it, and the food preservation poster that you see in the ship all the time. these are background things that get you to think about war, even if they aren't directly linked to any lore-relevant, world building, historical importance to the players in the game.
      3. not to mention, with the way that the golden planet thing was treated as a myth to the common people, then it's likely some powerful government/shadow government/upper management/authoritative organisation related to the government is involved in keeping this whole thing under wraps. That's probably why the phone call Desmond traced was so far away, across the galaxy and nowhere near the actual company building.
      4. continuing my previous two points, even with this higher power involved, there's no regard for the employees well-being within the company. deaths are simply replaced at least at the time of sigurd's logs. my thought is that this is the same across the board. unions and stuff are probably not well-spread across the galaxy to protect the well-being of the working class. ethical and moral dilemmas are probably quashed and would HAVE to be in order for the company to continue working as it does 500 years later and probably even longer if Sigurd's view of said company is simply "having a real job".
like even Sigurd mentions the turn-over rate of the company. that would usually raise some eyebrows for people protecting workers rights, and groups that regulate health and safety just in general. such organisations and people have to be suppressed or simply not exist in lethal company lore. probably because of this government/authority pulling the strings.
this is the ideal environment for war-based cloning (and teleportation?) to take place/be invented. the higher ups don't care about the common folk, so they just clone soldiers and send them out. someone dies on the battlefield and that same person is sent out once again as a clone regardless of the ethics surrounding such a practice.
      5. with the way the company seems to have it's thumb in every pie and access to experimentation- a planet that was probably hidden by the government and then accessed by the company (AND every moon you can land on, the factory functions can be controlled/accessed by the company terminal?)- should cloning technology have been invented for the sake of having soldiers to keep spawning in and everything, then it's not unlikely that the company could get their hands on it. perhaps it's even become widespread during the 500 years, and so cloning on the job for things like construction on habitable planets, and other high-risk stuff is so common in day to day that nobody bats an eye when the company uses it, too.
it's not mentioned in the manual, either. so it might just be common knowledge to the point that it doesn't need to be touched on. everyone knows how it works, everyone knows it's implemented. or I could be completely off base, and it just doesn't exist and that's why.
however, this is all just theory and extrapolation based on very limited information. if I had to guess, ITDA would probably be involved
edit: the more I re-read this the more bonkers and off-base it sounds. I mean there's very little evidence to back up my statements, but I guess that's what theories are about. Mattpat has certainly come up with weirder based on less.

If there is anything in this game I am incredibly familiar with, it's the insanity noises, as I am often the tryhard that runs off alone in games, and holy shit are they weird, they maybe could have their own video especially because you can hear a young girl say hey and a baby crying as some of the more prominent ones. Potentially these sounds are linked to the ghost girl as I have often noticed them in tandem with being haunted and they rarely happen when I am not being haunted. My theory is that the ghost girl is the spirit of a young girl that died horribly and follows your ship around because she wants to play. She seems to play some sort of hide and seek or game of tag with the player as she will appear and run away when you look at her, looking at her three times will cause her to skip toward you and then you die from your head exploding so maybe the contact with an entity of that type causes some kind of violent and very lethal reaction within the brain. I also should clarify that my theory is that the ghost girl is the same entity on all of the moons, it's just she tends to hang around the more dangerous ones because they have a higher concentration of 'playmates' and her appearing on other moons is because she in some manner has followed the ship after her initial appearance to your crew. Just my personal theory though.

Memory loss from being eaten/digested could just be the classic trope of ghosts losing memory of how exactly they died due to extreme trauma. This is kinda backed up by the existence of ghost girl, ghosts typically needing to communicate to mortals through electronics, and the voice freaking out as it's given more info about its current situation, like all that trauma came flooding back to it.

i dunno if this is common knowledge or not but theres a remote scrap in the game(that part most people should know) but whats interesting about it is that you can use it to control the lights of the ship, even when you are in the facility. while that alone could be a small fun fact entry, something this seemingly random might have some lore implications. why is something that has direct control over a ship function just laying at a scrap yard? my main theory is that these are from previous travellers who lost the remotes or were killed in the process and for some reason the remotes stopped being provided(perhaps because of a useless expense to the company?)
maybe this could even indicate at future content, that zeekers is planning to add light based outside enemies or some sort of mechanic to do with light? theres a lot you can draw from this one seemingly pointless bit of scrap.

Whenever I come across a possibly fictional scientific name in a game I try to look it up and/or break it down to see if its constituent parts actually mean anything (which, for Lethal Company, they often do).
Btw, I have no advanced formal education in linguistics, biology, or chemistry, most my knowledge of the subjects comes from my K-12 education and me exploring the topics in my free time.
    *Rapax-folium*
Take the Bracken's scientific name, _Rapax-folium,_ for example. The name comes from Latin: _rapāx_ and _folium._ _Rapāx_ means "grasping" or "rapacious" - literally "inclined ( _-āx_ ) to grab ( _rapiō_ )" - and _folium_ means leaf. Considering the behaviour and appearance of the Bracken, this name makes a lot of sense. (Fun Fact(s): the word "rapacious" comes from _rapāx,_ and the word "foliage" comes from _folium._ The name "rapacious foliage" is quite fitting.)
    *Rubenchloria*
With the fruitfulness regarding Rapax-folium, I figured that looking at the name rubenchloria would give an idea as to what that disease is. However after researching, the best I could come up with isn't even a medical condition in the slightest. Rubenchloria seems to be a combination of _rub-_ and _chloria._ _Rub-_ comes from Latin _rubeus_ meaning "red, reddish", with the prefix being used in diseases like "rubella". _Chloria_ also comes from Latin and means "chlorine", so together rubenchloria would mean "red chlorine". This is probably wrong, as I don't know what function the _en_ between _rub_ and _chloria_ serves, and also because it's late right now.
(I had another idea on what the disease could be, perhaps _chloria_ is actually _chloro-_ + _-ia,_ with _chloro-_ coming from Greek meaning "green" and _-ia_ meaning something? Or maybe (and this is even more of a stretch) _rubenchloria_ is a typo of _rubenchloruria,_ which would then actually be a medical term (the _-uria_ means "substance in urine", as in the condition _albuminuria_ ), so _rubenchloruria_ would be a disease which causes the excretion of red and green something in urine. Or maybe Ruben is the name of some guy, who knows?)
    *Pitt Virus*
I actually did find something regarding the name. Although it's a bacterium and not a virus, _Chlamydia psittaci_ is a real thing which can cause a disease known as psittacosis. Possibly, over hundreds of years the "s" could've been dropped, turning "psittaci" into "pittaci", which was then shortened to "pitt", but I wouldn't know. However a major flaw in this theory is the fact that _C. psittaci_ infects members of the _Psittacidae_ family (one of the 3 parrot families), not the _Corvids_ (of which the Mantacoil is). Furthermore, despite both families containing the most intelligent bird species, the two families are not closely related. So I guess all I can say is that either Zeekerss got the name from _C. psittaci,_ or he has a thing against Brad Pitt or something.
    (Bonus!) *TZP Inhalant*
Although TZP wasn't mentioned in the video, it was the first scientific thing from LC I tried to make sense of. From my research, TZP, which stands for tetrazenylpurine, could in theory exist IRL. For my interpretation of TZP, it's chemical formula would be C₅H₁₅N₂₀, and it's IUPAC name would probably be _2,6,8,9-tetazenylpurine._ (For some extra detail about the structure, I based it off of _9H-purine,_ and slapped four _(2E)-2-tetraazines_ (tetrazene, H₂NN=NNH₂) onto where the four hydrogens would normally be.) I don't know how this would actually function when inhaled, but looking at the amount of nitrogens in this thing and the fact that Wikipedia describes tetrazine as "a colorless explosive material", I could probably guarantee that at least _some_ of your body will move speedily in the direction you are running.
There's actually a lot of cool stuff that you could probably find by looking at the names of things in LC, like all the scientific names of the other monsters, or the numbering of each of the moons (which is based off the real system of naming minor planets like 3 Juno and 10003 Caryhuang), all of which would take multiple comments to go over but I'm too tired right now, lol. Apologies for the long comment and any nonsensical ramblings I may have written.

A very qualitative video. If I think to some over viewed points of the iceberg I would have two in mind: automatic defenses and atmosphere. Why automatic turrets and land mines? Is it suppose to have a link with the "war"? Even if we know that mines can kill the mobs... it seems they don't trigger them so are they exclusively targetting humans? As for the atmosphere: what element the air of the moons is made of. You have a protection gear... but since, the creatures are the same, we may think the atmosphere of all moons is the same. Speaking of the creatures: some live outside, others inside and we know that one air is toxic for the others, like for fleas, why?

Honestly underrated, I didn't notice anything wrong with the audio tracks and watched the entire video with some pauses here and there.
Really enjoyed the video and I hope the game adds more content so more lore gets added to the iceberg.
One thing I'm surprised you didn't mention was origins of the name of the moon Gordion (you might've mention Gordion and its name origins in the video but I forgot, sorry if I'm wrong here), as i heard in another theory.
Searched up "Gordion" and turns out it was the capital city of ancient Phrygia (modern day Turkey).
A famous king they had was one called Midas.
Although the myth of Midas' golden touch is a myth, I think this may have some sort of correlation with the Golden Planet mentioned by the man inside the walls of the Company Building, so-- maybe the myth may not be much of a myth in the world of Lethal Company.
Yes, even though this is just a theory, I think it's a quite compelling one, especially thinking of how Midas' myth was one of greed and only when he noticed his golden touch was a curse was when tried eating a grape from his hands.
Growing fearful, he hugged his daughter for solace, accidentally turning her into a golden statue. Leading to him regretting his choice and praying to get rid of this curse-of-a-wish.
I think interplanetary wars, and the making of the coil-heads (which I'm assuming were dead soldiers turned bio-weapon from watching your video) are one prime example of greed, though I don't know how this greed is going to turn out, at the end of the game.
Maybe it will follow somewhat like that of Midas' , except this time, he won't be forgiven-- but I wouldn't know for sure.
Another little thing I'm adding: I don't think the drill there may have been placed by Sigurd himself but instead maybe by Desmond since he seemed to be the more craftier of the bunch (tracking the Company's call location and finding out that it's coming from somewhere else but the Company Building, as mentioned in some logs by Sigurd).
It may have been placed there as a way to drill through "Jeb", killing him in the process or maybe, like you said in the video, to rescue wall guy.
Once again, really good and informative video, liked and subbed, have a great day!

I got a bit of a theory scratching the back of my head since weeks.
Not sure it holds up strong, and I don't like it (too cliché), but at least it tries to address a lot of contradictions I see in current "facevalue" lore :
What if we're playing Sigurd clones, everytime, in a neverending experiment for Sigurd to expurge its inner demons ?
And it's all a psychological rendition, nothing's "real" per say ?
Because of suspiscious time gaps between events.
    Because technology gaps/disparities.
Because the economy of the Company doesn't make sense, and is screaming at us "of course it's stupid to invest and risk soooo much just for a metal sheet, a nest and a honker!"
Because of the looks of the mansion, the little girl, the nutcracker or jester box, the 1968 date, and so much stuff, in the 26th century ?!
Because "hundreds of teams always revisit the same moons", but strangely, there's a post it from Sigurd and just 9 journals from the same guy, waiting for us, that NONE of the previous teams gathered/slipped away, hu ? And NONE of the previous teams wrote anything else since ? And the Company NEVER cleaned those traces during 500 years of constant hunts ?
Also : we're travelling to distant stars, and yet Sigurd is somehow "surprised" some signals could be "far out in the solar system", and so many things looks both alien and super past-earth-like.
So many things doesn't add up at all.
And for me, especially with the big "amnesia" hints coming back here and there, it all sounds like we're just living a big hallucination, or experimentation, or both.
Like everything should be symbolic, tokens supposed to trigger a very human and contemporary reaction to it.
(and the drill/submarine sure take a new meaning in that, as well as Jebb, this obscure "Company" and so on)
And the Sigurd presence is too big and scarce at the same time.
Like we're supposed to reflect on him.
Like we are the one tested, in all this, and the rest of the "mission" is just a facade, an excuse, a depiction.
It reminds me a lot of "Salad Fingers" atmosphere, or "Destination : Void" Herbert's book.
Sigurd lived something horrible, maybe during its childhood (given the common theme on this) or during a war, or in 1968.
And he projected himself in a alien facilities hunt in a distant future and on distant moons.
And we are Sigurd, repeating the cycle, trying to cope, maybe under a higher scrutiny or purpose to it all, but not the one we think we are working towards.
That being said : if it's something along those lines, it would be pretty cliché and not very fun, for me.
But it makes so much more sense than actual facevelue / 1er degree lecture.

My hypothesis is that they clone players instead of straight up revival and they use the bodies of the deceased to help expedite the process which is why it’s less expensive when you return with the body. This would also explain why the employees suffer from amnesia sor something at first and when employees don’t meet quota they remove the employees entirely and no longer bother cloning them as they see them as too costly to keep as employees so they find new ones.

The apparatus actually has a 70% chance to increase the minimum spawn count by 2, which means at every spawn opportunity, the game will be forced to spawn 2 new creatures, so long as the power limit hasn't been reached yet.
There's multiple spawn opportunities every day, so the earlier you pull it out, the higher the risk of getting a lot of extra creatures...

Hello, when you asked why anyone would need so much acetone, I used to work as a maintenance technician at a large factory, we would have larger quantities because sometimes, machines or constructs would be painted over several times, so to unscrew/remove and replace older equipment, you'd need the paint thinner. That's probably why it's there.

Edit i think i should put here: This video explained the logs and so much of the game in a very good and understandable way even showing me things I had no clue were there, I do not intend to sound like I know these for a fact as the mechanics I talk about are debated frequently, I also do not want to sound rude or off-putting, I mean this as sharing some data/theories others have found somewhat recently you and others may not know about. (Also sorry for the essay).
    1. The apparatus doesnt appear to affect the monster spawns when playing solo (it is also rumored that on multiplayer the chance will occur *before* 2 monsters spawn.) In short, the apparatus and its affect with monsters are debated still between the data miners.
    2. You forgot loot bugs, I'm assuming there's a reason behind it like they didn't seem connected to the lore and weren't related to any species we have on Earth but just making sure since I love those guys
    3. About insanity and its mechanics, a somewhat popular streamer known as Insym, was testing out some theories/rumors/data he had heard from data miners, the mechanic in questioning was whether or not a person who holds an item of very high price will be more likely to be haunted by the ghost girl. They tested this out in multiple high quota runs and it turns out to be very likely mechanic as the person who held a gold bar before the round had started/loaded was haunted way more than everyone else in the runs.
Anyways I think this is where I'll leave it before my brain turns to goo from trying to recall things

i have advocated for the interplanetary war theory since launch week of the game me and my friends i met in a public lobby in the 3rd or 4th day of the game talked for a solid hour about how not only is the coil head believed to be a bioweapon but also how the other toy based entities shared mechanical and biological properties and also certain gimmicky behavior implying such behavior was intentionally engineered i believe the jester, mask and nutcracker along with the coilhead were all created by humans like a servitor from warhammer 40k or a stalker from half life to be used as psychological weapons, the jester and nutcracker have qualities that would make them great guards meanwhile the coilheads have traits that would be well suited to clearing a building it should be noted coilheads are also the most common of the three i mention and appear on the widest variety of planets. then that leaves the question who made them and why are they where they are?, and i think the question to that is simple every planet in game save for rend and dine are industrial compounds they may be in disrepair but even in their peak they have obvious safety hazards and some planets like experimentation suffer from extreme pollution as mentioned in its log, that combined with this games common theme of corporations not caring for the well being of their employees leads me to believe that
most planets were likely dystopian hellscapes and many of the workers likely revolted taking up arms and barricading themselves in buildings from their oppressors if this is true than it would explain why their are landmines and armed turrets everywhere. Coilheads would then be deployed to flush out said insurgents while coilheads would be terrible out in the open in a battlefield against tanks and other such weaponshumanity

    • @Titanlord1250
      @Titanlord1250 Před 4 měsíci

(continuation) made for war but inside a confined space they can negate small arms, avoid traps and spread deadly radiation, they combust when tampered with adding a extreme fire hazard to the building their locked in and they look horrifying and desecrate the corpses of their victims spreading fear through rebel ranks while all the can do is waste resources and manpower to keep them at bay which would force or scare the rebels into surrender thus preserving some of the workforce of whoever deployed them which explains why coilhead are in buildings that are often booby trapped with temporary defenses such and portable turrets instead of built-in security systems, i also believe jesters and nutcrackers were made with similar purpose rather than just killing everything the jester gives fair warning (and nightmares) to intruders and does not chase them outside and resets itself once everyone leaves meaning its just meant to guard and strongly discourage people from breaking into its compound while killing whoever is not wise enough to stay away, the nutcracker also has criteria to what it does and does not shoot, either way if they are weapons of not coilheads have too much evidence supporting that they are and that makes you wonder what other terrible things has humanity made they could have even made they monster in the company i mean they clearly have advanced technology capable of it and there was also clearly a time before it existed or was at least a problem they company has seems to want to contain it and have been doing so for centuries they may have even been involved with its creation and thus is why they know how to contain it while their clearly is a paranormal element to the game in the case of the 3 toy entities (not counting the masked) and Jeb their likely isn't any cosmic horror at all after all you can't have man made horrors beyond your comprehension with out the MAN-MADE.

    • @Titanlord1250
      @Titanlord1250 Před 4 měsíci

i made a continuation in replies idk if its a glitch or CZcams hammered it or not but its not there anymore so i'll keep the rest of what i have to say as brief as i can. Coilheads excel in confined spaces they don't eliminate threats efficiently they make examples of them with the horrifying things they do to their victims, they spread radiation through the building, combust if tampered with adding a fire hazard to the building, their scary appearance and unique gimmick would force any rebels to waste manpower and resources to stall them forcing or scaring them into surrender thus preserving some of the workforce of whoever used them which explains why their locked in buildings i believe the jester is similar it could just attack you instead it gives fair warning (and nightmares) to leave the compound and eliminates anyone who doesn't the nutcracker also has a behavioral gimmick like this. in my opinion theres just too much evidence (including in the logs for the coilhead) that these three were weapons that it makes you wonder what else did humanity made they might even be responsible for the creature behind the wall i mean the company seems to know how to contain a world devouring monster they could have been involved in its creation after all you cant have man made horrors beyond you comprehension without the MAN MADE.

I can imagine rich folk buying guard Nutcrackers. Perhaps the ones that appear in the Mansion tilesets were formerly owned by someone before being left as a derelict.
Also, maybe the Nutcracker isn't the only hull variant. But they just appear everywhere for convenience sake for the players, so they know what they're looking at at all times.

I noticed it the other day. It’s on most of the moons it’s just incredibly unnoticeable because it’s very faint. But yea cool feature :)

With the addition of embrion and Adamance, and their very, very, very large playing area (though most of it is "out of bounds", it's remarkably easy to get out, and I hope it stays that way), you can land on the ship, and run, barely making it to the edge of the world, and you can see it's an actual panorama of an actual place. It changes as you go along, you can see a highway, dozens of houses, etc. Quite the sight. The infinite void does unsettle me, though.

Recently, in co-op (with mods, none which should affect Masked spawns) I've spotted Maskeds appearing in Assurance, Vow, and March. This is after a month of near constant play, and once each moon. So perhaps they're starting to appear in other moons at a insanely low chance? Also with Control Company, a mod that lets the host play as a monster that normally spawns in the area, Masked are actually pretty common among the potentials (although that might be due to the fact players can take a Mask to the moon and use it- it's the only monster spawn in Gordion and is normally broken if given AI control due to Gordion instantly killing Maskeds)

If its the mod I think it is, then it is a part of the mod. I don't know the name of is exactly, as when I played with it, my friend (ChiknNougat whom I mentioned in the video) was the one to set it up for our play group. The functionality you describe, removing the masks etc sounds very similar.

40:55 theres one thing ive been thinking about; if were on a moon that means we are orbiting a planet and not a star, thats what characterizes a moon and differentiates it from a planet. so that should mean the circular object in the sky should be the planet were orbiting. though if thats the case, how come theres light being emitted from the planet onto to the moon. and how is an eclipse even possible considering were on a moon. an eclipse on the earth for example happens when the moon blocks the sun. the only explanation i can think of is perhaps that the circular object in the sky is the star and the eclipse is caused by the planet of the corresponding moon which blocks said star from emitting light onto the moon.
