I say 'almost' complete because they also performed We've Only Just Begun on the show, but as far as I'm aware, I've never seen it anywhere online, ever!

The Carpenters are legends indeed. So much talent in just two people. It's remarkable and we'll probably never see that kind of thing again in our lifetime. But Andy Williams was no slouch. That man could belt out a tune as well as any diva on earth. Truly spectacular. I miss those days so very much.

I saw the Carpenters in the 1970s Kalamazoo, they were very good, sure missing hearing Karen live, she was quite the musician/ drummer .

Karen, the greatest female singer all time, going up against the veteran legend Andy Williams. I probably watched this then.

This is what entertainment is supposed to evoke!
an angel's voice. certainly the most enchanting female voice among all singers to this day. Best vibrato for sure. Watch how much fun she has - doing what she likes, mostly playing the drums and singing, always smiling, amazing. On the other hand, the most striking male voice is Freddy Mercury.
Mercury is overrated
The only male voice I can think of that reaches deep into my soul with the penetrating personal intimacy Karen has and the perfect phrasing and perfect notes is Nat King Cole.
I've never heard of thought of Karen and Freddie at the same time. But it's a good comparison. But incomparable among their peers.

Andy Williams,karen e richard carpenter são artistas a sério,com grande talento...pena que hoje há uma industria musical onde a maioria dos" artistas "se torna famoso sem saberem cantar,sem saberem tocar qualquer instrumento ,sem saberem compor etc....por isso prefiro continuar a ouvir os artistas mais antigos em que a qualidade fazia a diferença....

I don’t even like most of their material, but I adore her voice. When the harmony parts start and she isn’t singing I feel lonely.

I was into the who , the rolling stones, led Zeppelin black Sabbath Beatles and one hundred legendary bands . the carpenter's were elevator music but everyone new the words.She still sounds angelical,. When she died was the first time I had ever heard of Anorichea her Brother To bring awareness of that terrible disorder that took her life told the world inorder that no other innocent children of God would suffering of it would perish from it!
