That nozzle is superb! You could use that in a home where there are no pets just as a deep cleaning brush bar to revitalise carpet fibers

Thank you for taking the time to make this video and doing the review.
Bought the Henry after my gas fitter cleaned out our fireplace with his second hand model that he has had for years and says they are practically indestructible. Had various different makes of hoover over the years and they have all eventually failed.
I found the carpet/ hard floor attachment difficult to use even on the lowest suction. It grabbed the carpet and was difficult to move back and forth. The pet hair brush is quite good but like the video demonstrated it doe not pick up everything. Will be buying the extra wide brush attachment. The tool storage idea is fine but we found it impossible to park the wand in position with the attachments in place. Not having to keep emptying the dirt out of a tube and not having to keep washing filters is a bonus. Ok you will have to buy bags but I put my hoover contents on my compost heap so I will be experimenting with cutting the bags open and resealing them somehow.
Overall very pleased with my Henry pet hoover. i would recommend it.

Henry’s suction is the best vacuum for suction IMO, but it’s not great for carpet. Better for hardfloor or Lino/vinyl. Like you said uprights with a roller brush are better for carpets. Although with the Airo Brush seems to do a good job.

It was included in the retro stainless steel Hoover Constellation/Maytag Satellite which I once owned about a decade ago. It really helped boost the cleaning power on a straight suction canister!

would you say that Henry cleaners are good to have as a second vacuum? we have our dyson dc40 and V6 but wondered if a henry would go well as an upstairs vac and a car vac too. at just under a hundred quid too they arent bad. how long would you say a bag lasts in a henry in normal everyday cleaning? i know they usually say to not fill them really full due to the performance loss you'd get. I feel this is just typical of the way Henry treat their customers. Bring out a specialist vacuum for pet hairs that is as much use as a chocolate fireguard. You end up spending more money buying the special head.
I have a very old henry with extra long hose, bought on ebay, which covers the whole house when plugged in at the top of the stairs.
I made the mistake of throwing cash at this company to buy the henry with powered turbohead. The power is taken from the motor head and runs down a squared set of tubes to connect to the motorised turbo brush.
It only rotates when held off carpet or running on lino and carpet tiles - although carpet tiles slow the spin!!! It completely stops when it touches carpet.
Where these vacs come into their own is in the workshop, without a bag, I have filled one of these with builder's rubble and it just keeps sucking.
As much as I love the brand, I feel it's a complete crock of crap to expect customers to buy a decent head in order to do a job it promises to do in the first place.
The company needs to sort themselves out apologise to customers and give them what they are paying for.

As I said, Henry Pet has the same specifications, tools and filter as Harry. The only difference is the face. Domestic Henry cleaners very similar. The main differences are the filters, tool kits and capacity. If it has 200 in the model number it is full sized, 160 means it is a compact version. Pet models have odour reducing filters and Allergy and Clean Air models have an additional HEPA filter. If you want a pet version will the most tools then the John Lewis exclusive Henry Pet Pro has both small and full sized turbo nozzles. It was on offer last week for £100 but has since returned to its regular price of £180.
