- New and exclusive to Currys, this Which Best Buy Henry Pet from Numatic is put to the test on pet hair and an extreme dirt pick up test. Will Henry be smiling at the end of the video? Stay tuned and find out.

I love how he sometimes matches his sock colors to the hoovers 😂
That nozzle is superb! You could use that in a home where there are no pets just as a deep cleaning brush bar to revitalise carpet fibers
Thank you for taking the time to make this video and doing the review.
Bought the Henry after my gas fitter cleaned out our fireplace with his second hand model that he has had for years and says they are practically indestructible. Had various different makes of hoover over the years and they have all eventually failed.
I found the carpet/ hard floor attachment difficult to use even on the lowest suction. It grabbed the carpet and was difficult to move back and forth. The pet hair brush is quite good but like the video demonstrated it doe not pick up everything. Will be buying the extra wide brush attachment. The tool storage idea is fine but we found it impossible to park the wand in position with the attachments in place. Not having to keep emptying the dirt out of a tube and not having to keep washing filters is a bonus. Ok you will have to buy bags but I put my hoover contents on my compost heap so I will be experimenting with cutting the bags open and resealing them somehow.
Overall very pleased with my Henry pet hoover. i would recommend it.
Today 17th July 2020, Amazon have the pro kit for under £30 which includes the full sized turbo nozzle, a smaller turbo nozzle for upholstery and a heard floor head. amzn.to/3eOjeDM

I have a Hetty and I love her. Great demonstration 👍
Lovely doggies! Superb demo, especially with the optional head on the dog hair! But the last part where the head stuck to the carpet seemed really stressful & irritating. Which is why I have an upright vacuum.
Love your matching socks Roger👍
Great video, Roger, thank you.
After watching your demonstration I went for the Mili cat and dog and its brilliant thank you for that 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
A comprehensive review as ever Roger. Numatic really should include the airo brush as part of the package with thev Henry pet.
Fantastic reviews - thank you very much ! I now have all the information i need to purchase the right version of the Henry hoover
Which one did you choose please?
amazing review but is the vacuum it self safe for people who suffer allergy ?
Henry’s suction is the best vacuum for suction IMO, but it’s not great for carpet. Better for hardfloor or Lino/vinyl. Like you said uprights with a roller brush are better for carpets. Although with the Airo Brush seems to do a good job.
I'm so glad I didn't waste money on this!
What vacuum would you recommend for pet hair? I'm looking for something that does what it says. I no longer trust product reviews on websites.
Great video! Thank you!
Can’t beat a nice tool.
Why would they make the pet hair head half the size of the normal head?
To make it take twice as long to clean or something, bizarre.
Hi. Do you know why the hose lengths are getting shorter. My Henry from 2001 has a 2.5 metre hose which was standard back then. Now you're saying this one is 2.2
Fantastic review
it's now available at Argos too
The only personal experience I have with a turbo carpet nozzle was with an identical one to the one you show in this demonstration. I was favourably impressed! It was included in the retro stainless steel Hoover Constellation/Maytag Satellite which I once owned about a decade ago. It really helped boost the cleaning power on a straight suction canister!
I love Henry's.... Still easily one of the best vacuums you can buy. I wish they'd make an upright
So do I, an upright Henry would be great.
drnh4444 I've just bought one refurbished. Only downside to numatic cleaners is the ridiculously long tubes which make cleaning confined spaces a bit tricky. Would I do to improve that is by manufacturing them with telescopic tubes instead.
Nmatic made a upright in the 80s called the swift.
would you say that Henry cleaners are good to have as a second vacuum? we have our dyson dc40 and V6 but wondered if a henry would go well as an upstairs vac and a car vac too. at just under a hundred quid too they arent bad. how long would you say a bag lasts in a henry in normal everyday cleaning? i know they usually say to not fill them really full due to the performance loss you'd get. Thank you and great video Roger :-)
Awesome video I liked it. by the way you forgot the hard floor demonstration.
Looking at one of these thx for an up an beyond review
I feel this is just typical of the way Henry treat their customers. Bring out a specialist vacuum for pet hairs that is as much use as a chocolate fireguard. You end up spending more money buying the special head.
I have a very old henry with extra long hose, bought on ebay, which covers the whole house when plugged in at the top of the stairs.
I made the mistake of throwing cash at this company to buy the henry with powered turbohead. The power is taken from the motor head and runs down a squared set of tubes to connect to the motorised turbo brush.
It only rotates when held off carpet or running on lino and carpet tiles - although carpet tiles slow the spin!!! It completely stops when it touches carpet.
Where these vacs come into their own is in the workshop, without a bag, I have filled one of these with builder's rubble and it just keeps sucking.
As much as I love the brand, I feel it's a complete crock of crap to expect customers to buy a decent head in order to do a job it promises to do in the first place.
The company needs to sort themselves out apologise to customers and give them what they are paying for.
Glad to see you are back on top form, great review I prefer uprights but my son will love it as it looks like a baby George. Thanks for the info about testing a Bissell, have signed up. Fingers crossed. Cheers

Can you make a video about your vacuum collection please.
I bought one of these yesterday after my Sebo K1 died mid-vacuuming. The Hairobrush stopped working completely quite quickly. I've unclogged it but it won't spin round. However I continued vacuuming using the normal head and my carpets have never looked cleaner. I'm very impressed. I'll try and get a replacement hairobrush for the odd occasion I might need to use it.
You would be better off buying the Pro Kit that includes the full sized turbo brush, a smaller version for upholstery and a hard floor tool. amzn.to/3eOjeDM
@@ibaisaic Thanks I'll do that.
Nice video, perfect for anyone wondering whether to invest in this vacuum or not. I did, and could not be happier with it. Just to mention that it is quieter than I had expected, much quieter than any vacuum I have had before. How does the noise level compare to the other vacuums you have tested? Thanks.
Might be of a dated review now but very detailed. I'm definitely sold on the Henry pet with the airo brush extra as well as a few bags
Can u just buy the original 160 and buy the airo brush separately? Looks like it would be cheaper than the Numatic Pet
I love all your reviews and demonstration, but this one was really impressive. Wow, absolutely brilliant on pets hair. Thank you for sharing.
You know your Henry / Henry green model is a hvr200a and your hetty model is a het200a
please show more newmatic cleaners
So I have this hoover. So how much is it in the uk. Can you use the red one as well.
When you do a big mess test like this....what is your go vacuum that you would re-vacuum with to make sure all dirt was picked up?
I try and clean up thoroughly with the vacuum used in the demo and then do my regular vacuuming with whatever vacuum I am using as vacuum of the month.
Nice one!
The first example you pressed the hair into the carpet by using the first head, the test of the big head you didn't do this and instead picked up hair that was just sitting on the surface.
aww Lottie and Willow! little superstars lol looks like an airo brush is needed ,,,
When are you going to make a new vidio
Numatic WHY no powerhead!!!
I love Henry pet
Is it better than the Henry Extra? I have 2 dogs but not many fitted carpets - mainly hard flooring and lots of swirling balls of hair in moulting season! Fitted carpets upstairs but they are dog free areas. need a Good Henry that can cope with both hard flooring and carpets.
They are very similar. The Henry Xtra comes with a full sized turbo nozzle as well as a dedicated hard floor nozzle.
Hey Roger!! What's going on with you? Are you ok?I hope you're r doing ok and I'm just missing you and you videos.
ibaisaic I did hear that on one of your videos but was just checking. Sorry for bothering you and I don't have Facebook or Instagram.
I have owned a couple of Miele vacuums and I am now looking to purchase a new vacuum and wondering about the Miele Complete C1 Powerline Cat & Dog compared to the Harry Numatic vacuum. Alternatively, is it better to just buy a Henry Xtra? I primarily have hardwood floors but would like a powerhead brush for furniture. Thanks...your videos are great.
The Henrys are good, but not the most convenient to use.I think you may find it a bit heavy and bulky compared to a Miele. Try and get one of the 1600 watt Miele cleaners before they sell out.
Thanks so very much for your response. Would that be a Miele C3, perhaps the cat and dog C3?
Any of the Miele Cat & Dog models would be fine.

U should do hetty 160 v henry pet
After 26 years of excellent service our beloved Henry (red) gave up the ghost this morning. I know it sounds pathetic, but I was very sad about this. We have replaced it with a Henry Pet and I have yet to unbox it, nor have I had the heart to throw out our original Henry. * sigh *
Do you still have your original Henry?
I would’ve kept the original Henry and used the base as a plant pot! 😉
I still have an original Henry my late mum had it’s at least 26 years old still going ok but need something better for pet hair as my German shedder should be bald
I am currently looking for a reliable vacuum cleaner. I watched so many of video and struggling to decide between and Henry and a shark upright. Floors mostly hardwood.
A Henry would be more reliable than a Shark. I would also suggest you look at Sebo machines that have German build quality and reliability.
Thank you for this review. Question: Will the bigger head fit on James?
I don't have a James yet, but I really LOVE the yellow. I think that's James.
PS: Love, love, love the socks. Thanks again :-)
If it fits on a Henry, it will fit on a James. You can get Henry in Yellow too.
Much thanks to you. We are getting rid of most of our carpets and have two dogs. I love the yellow and didn't know I could get Henry in yellow. Also, I love your passion. You do these videos so well. And your pups are too cute. Thank you for taking the time to reply back. Much appreciated.
Not a fan of Currys but Henry vacuum is the BEST period.
Are you going to review the sebo x4 pet
Hopefully yes, but not for a few weeks.
He's like the Harry numatic
I have a Henry in the back of my van .. looks pretty tatty but works a treat

Which would you recommend a vax dual power or a vax Rapide ultra pet ?
I wouldn't recommend any Vax cleaner at the moment due to poor reliability issues.
That's crappy that they don't put a full size brush in with it (I assume it's more expensive than a standard Henry). Anyway, I've just bought full pet the kit on special offer at the moment in Henry site . Would love it if they did a choice of colours. I think the accessories are made in China not UK?
Do you have any tips on how to stop the screeching sound of using the airo brush? Was thinking about using wd40
The Henry Pet Pro comes with 2 turbo brushes
The turbo brutish Is supposed to screech
I've been looking at getting a new vacuum for a while and have decided on a Henry. But what is the difference between Henry pet, Harry or Classic Henry with the pet kit?
Henry Pet & Harry have the same specifications, same tools and same odour reducing filter. A standard Henry has a regular filter.
Go to myhenry.com to see all the models available and the differences.
@@ibaisaic seems confusing to the new customer. So the difference between Henry pet and Harry is that Henry pet comes with the pet brush. But then you can buy the pet kit to give any Henry the features of Henry pet. Confusing
As I said, Henry Pet has the same specifications, tools and filter as Harry. The only difference is the face. Domestic Henry cleaners very similar. The main differences are the filters, tool kits and capacity. If it has 200 in the model number it is full sized, 160 means it is a compact version. Pet models have odour reducing filters and Allergy and Clean Air models have an additional HEPA filter. If you want a pet version will the most tools then the John Lewis exclusive Henry Pet Pro has both small and full sized turbo nozzles. It was on offer last week for £100 but has since returned to its regular price of £180.
Difference between Henry pet and the harry models? (other that the facial features) someone please help.
The eyes.
Can you buy the pet charcoal filter and put it in a non henry pet hoover. Ie in the Henry. Thanks in advance. Because i could always buy the additional pet specific brushes. Thanks in advance.
Yes, myhenry.com sell them in two sizes.
@@ibaisaic thanks. Where did you get your hose to do stairs?
You can get a reach kit from my henry that includes an extension hose or you can buy stretch hoses or extra long hoses from Amazon.
Thanks
@@ibaisaic Just to let you know that after watching your Henry videos and Sebo. And your advice not to get a upright hoover for mainly non carpets. I plummeted for the Henry Allergy. I was considering the Sebo put the price difference swayed me. Thanks for all your videos and advice.
where can i buy a airo turbo hoover head from please?
If you live in the UK you can get it from Amazon, Ebay or various spares websites. If you Google it you will find plenty of places to buy it from.
Can you review a quantum vac
Just hardy under Henry’s name
Jordan collyer
how kink proof is the hose?
The hoses are pretty robust and should retain their shape if squashed.
thank you :)
the last vacuum I bought had a really thin wall plastic for its hose

What the difference between henry pet and Harry pet
The face.
i work as a hotel cleaner we use the blue one its horrible its heavy and its so bad it sucks nothing
They probably don’t use genuine Hepaflo bags or possibly they use the cleaners without the bag so the filter becomes blocked. In my experience, there is nothing wrong with the suction on a Henry, even the latest low energy models.
It’s probably blocked because you probably don’t use bags that’s why it sucks nothing up
Is it 1200W or 620W?
620W. From Sept 1st 2017 vacuum cleaners sold in the EU are only permitted a maximum of 900 watts.
