  • Today I have two special Numatic cleaners to unbox. One is exclusive to John Lewis stores in the UK and the other has yet to be launched. Join me for a first look at the Henry Plus, plus a sneak peek at a model that's so new, the boxes haven't been printed for it yet!
    Demonstrations will follow in due course.

    Missed opportunity with the Pet...should have had an Airo Brush and mini turbo tool imo. The Plus is a decent deal though....

    The new Henry pet is a good vacuum for pet owners. It's disappointing that as well as the standard tools it only comes supplied with the hairobrush. Numatic need to add the full size airobrush turbo head as well as the hairobrush. Obviously that would add to the cost but for pet owners it's a necessity and it should also result in a better rating for carpet cleaning.
    It's good to see that the Henry plus gets an telescopic tube and the additional hard floor tool.
    As for an upright Henry as mentioned by yourself in the comments, well if ever Numatic's produced such a vacuum I'm sure it would be welcome and a sales success.

    I hope we get a Numatic dealer in the US someday.. We still get Numatics in the US but they are very hard to come by, they are only sold online, and you have to be careful to get the 120V version, like I did in 2012.

    • @ibaisaic
      @ibaisaic  Před 6 lety

      Yes, I understand they are hard to come by and quite expensive in the US.

    • @natej4230
      @natej4230 Před 6 lety

      ibaisaic Yes, they are. Henry's nowadays run around $350 - $400, George is $600, James $200 - $280, Harry $500, Hetty $350 - $400

  • @azislo
    @azislo Před 7 lety +2

    Numatic should redesign George with an auto-retractable cable, or at least hand-retractable cable (like this Henry has). This current spaghetti cable on George is no-go preference for me. (near home town we have a factory that produces auto-retractable cables/hoses, supplying some big home/garden companies).

    one day im going to make a custom PC computer from an Henry Vacuum cleaner, but they never get broken, iam still using the first one I got (second Hand) even after I sucked up 200lts of fishtank water with the old red henry which accidently flooded my flat from a failed filter, it almost sucked the carpet dry and saved a butchers shop beneath me (lucked out big time).... the new ones even have detachable facial expressions how cool is that! Best vacuum I ever bought (got given was 5 years old) and still doing its thing....

    • @wichtelchen
      @wichtelchen Před 2 lety

      This is a bad idea.
      Computer cases are made of metal for a good reason: Shielding. Computers tend to expose interference which a henry case cannot swallow because it is made of plastic.

      @@ibaisaic Hello
      I need some advise from a business point of view and hope you don't mind giving me advise from a business owner like yourself.
      If a seller is selling a henry vacuum for £61 but then sells the 2 brushes and adaptor and crevice nozzle for around £15 separately do you think they should be doing this? I have been told that all henry vacuums should come with the 4 accessories. Could you please give me your opinion on this. I believe they are competing with you by splitting up these things . many thanks.

    • @ibaisaic
      @ibaisaic  Před 3 lety

      A seller can sell what they want as long as the item is legal and correctly described. If what they send matches the picture and description, then they have done nothing wrong.
      I purchased a Henry Turbo from eBay that didn’t have the turbo electric nozzle with it as the seller decided to sell that on a separate listing. I knew this but still bought the vacuum and purchased the turbo head separately from another seller.
      Nobody is competing with me because I do not sell vacuum cleaners as a business and only occasionally sell machines on eBay that I no longer want.

      Metal is heavy, tend to dent and may damage your furnitures if Henry hits them. Not the best material to make a domestic hoover.
