Ninja 400 has a theoretical 0-60 of 4.14 seconds, so from a roll from 5 or 10 you're getting up to speed even faster. There aren't many cars that can out accelerate the little 400. The bike gets labeled as a beginner bike, but in reality it's quite a solid performer. If you want to get into tracking a bike, but you also want something to ride on the road and gets decent fuel economy, it's a solid choice. For reference the Mustang GT has a claimed 0-60 of 4.3 as long as no crowds are in the area. Of course at speed the Mustang is going to dust the Ninja (say a 30 pull).
Dude get some knee pads. Riding pants annoying cause when you get where you need to, like work. Like I'd be welding and burning holes in my nice riding pants. But kneepads is a good middle ground. My were bad and they got worse now, they always take a beating even in a small fall. 👍 I'm missing the Ninja 300 days of full twist everywhere hell yeah man

@g80crow I had to work my way up to a 1000cc my guy. I started on a built 500. Liter bikes are a passion and if you follow that passion it leads to experience and fun.
