      How big is this garden?

    • @YorkshireKRIS
      @YorkshireKRIS  Před 4 měsíci

      @eleanormtangi4580 it's a long narrow plot, probably over 70m long at a rough guess

    Great tour. I loved your sitting area featured at the beginning. I’m trying to achieve the same effect with a couple of sitting areas in my own tropical garden with various exotic plants your footage just gave me more inspiration thanks for sharing

    This is my second comment after I’ve watched this 2 more times. It’s simply one of the best tropical gardens I’ve seen. So much to take in plants I want to try and incorporate into my tropical garden and learn from the overall design and layout. Again thanks so much for sharing this beauty

    Really enjoyed the tour mate. I need it with all the crappy weather at the moment 👍

  • @hughmartinmcalary7702

    Great garden. And great tour Kris. Love this for a lift coming into winter loads of packed in plants and repeat planting to create the full exotic jungle effect. I'll be watching again and jotting down a few plant names!

    What a great tour! You showed many plants I've never seen, like the Hedychium densiflorum - most dense inflorescence I've seen for Hedychium. And thanks Kris for your hard work in providing abundant labels onscreen.

    Nice! Very informative video, thanks for this! What are the two lobed plants at 1:49 and the green lobed plant on the left at 1:57 please (just before the red ricin)?

    • @YorkshireKRIS
      @YorkshireKRIS  Před 6 měsíci

      There's a Ricinus, Begonia luxurians and I think a kiwi vine at 149

    • @YorkshireKRIS
      @YorkshireKRIS  Před 6 měsíci

      And a Cleome at 157

    Hi, most of these are not UK hardy, what do you do with them during the winter months? Will appreciate your reply Thanks

    • @YorkshireKRIS
      @YorkshireKRIS  Před rokem

      All survive by either being protected in situ or dug up and brought indoors.

  • @amphetaminelogic7006

    Absolutely standing kris. What zone is this in ? Are they all wintering in situ??

    • @YorkshireKRIS
      @YorkshireKRIS  Před rokem

      It's still basically Northern England so zone 8ish.
      Lots of the tender plants are brought indoors for winter
