THESE VIDEOS ARE NOT TO BE USED WITHOUT PERMISSION - Zábava
I seriously cannot get my head around the fact that people are taking this way too seriously. If you have watched previous videos of the class as well as specific people, you would know that it's called "banter"! They are actually friends.
Right? Like its exactly the vibe between my friends and me, we are making fun of each other sometimes but everyone knows its not serious or anything
I love that amber is monotone cuz them critiques hit different 😂 she’s so funny but her voice is so calming too
She said "I'm going to be a ballerina for real now." And Amber looked at her like "Let's not get ahead of ourselves." 🤣
I love the emotional chemistry between you two. I don't agree with others' comments here. Amber is hearing you and seeing your troubles, she corrected all mistakes, helped with pointes and made so many jokes! I never knew there are so many little details in these moves shown in this lessons. Ty both ❤
amber is genuinely such a good teacher, she explains it so well and really looks for solutions that work for you. Like yes she needed a second to get used to your feet LMAO but she really pays attention to what you do right and wrong
this is black cat / golden retriever energy and I'm loving it
I love LOVE that! Being a world class golden retriever...so often those beautiuful damn cats made me feel stupid, sad, pitiful. I'm 70 and they still can do it to me. Eva is precious and so honest, vulnerable, trying so hard in public and out here irl, we can see her becoming a real dancer! Doing so much better than we probably would. Tell Amber that she learned this before her bones hardened. It's harder for Eva and will take longer than a kid.
Petition for Eva to be fitted by Josephine
yess
Amber always acts like she is being firced to do these vids😂
What is shee 😡😡😡😡
@@Gloomy__shroom900??
Her expressions are my favorite lol
@@therealsunqueen I agree, she’s very awkward and it’s endearing. I think that’s why a lot of people think she doesn’t wanna be there.
@@therealsunqueensame ahah it makes the video so much better
What I think is funny is how Amber is so reserved when the cameras on but every now and then you see glimmerings of exactly just how crazy she is. I mean I think the two of these women are peas in a pod. I can't imagine what it's like when the two of them are romping about the city without a camera. This was a fun video.
Amber is terrible at hiding her reactions, but Eva never believes her when she actually says something nice 😂 Amber doesn't pull punches and that's why we love her.
Amber has done this since she was little so her cartilage, ligaments, muscles, etc are built into these over extension of her feet and body. But for someone who’s already an adult to do this now is incredible. Keep on keeping on girly! You look great even if you have a bad foot. ❤
The sheer concentration on Eva's face is priceless. It's like that mighty brain of hers is willing her muscles to obey.
She's gonna get there, no question.
It cannot be easy filming dancers at the school who have been on pointe for years and now starting from the beginning yourself. We all have different timelines, you'll get where you want to be❤
I bet it's not easy! But I think it's beautiful!
I feel for Amber in these comments. I also have resting bitch face. It's hard and exhausting to catch and correct but the best thing about being with friends is they listen to what I'm saying, not what they perceive me to be saying.
That's a lot for a first class! I teach pointe beginners and I see you run into the same challenges as my beginners. Don't compensate not getting entirely on the box with unstretched knees. Knees straight. You will get there! Don't break your shoes in too much.. your feet will get stronger if you work them. Your retiré was quite impressive for a first time and i loved the pics in the little photoshoot!
When Amber said “don’t hop” like up on pointe, I was thinking those are the little things you are missing from not training for years-that even little moves like that you must use the muscles in your feet and lower legs to releve, not hop.
Being a pro is hard, being a beginner is hard, im so glad you two took so much time out of your day to be happy
The wide smile and twinkles in Eva's eyes when she puts on the shoes 😂❤
Eva looks so happy and giggly despite the pain, it's nice to see ❤
Also Amber's energy of "let me out but ok i'll help if I must" is extremely entertaining !
“did something crack??”
“my toes”
Amber: 👀👀
I love watching Amber teach you ballet. 😂
Yawl are taking this video too seriously, she’s a beginner amber is teaching her, they are very good friends if you come across ballet dancers they all act like them the false scenarios yawl are coming up with is crazy to me
amber: “simple”
eva: **rolls eyes dramatically**
amber: “easy”
eva: **rolls eyes again**
gosh i love that part!
Eva when you were in the store, you were over your box at the fitting. Keep trying and you'll get there! Stop saying you have bad feet!!!
You noticed that too? 👍
Amber's face is priceless in that as soon as she goes on point she immediately turns into a professional. Watch as she rises, her neck straightens & her face immediately changes. Love it! 😂
All the best and older dancers become so professional and serious when they dance. I figured it's all the time--years--they have invested.
It’s probably because being on point is slightly dangerous if you don’t know what you’re doing.
@@stacysmith7387well she knows exactly what she’s doing and it’s hardly that dangerous.
@@zhaviyah84 wow it’s not dangerous? Do you know how tiny those bones and the feet are? They’re quite delicate so if you don’t have muscle support from years of strength training you could sprain or break something. It was painful for her to even stand on her toes for less than a minute.
Amber, the passivity kills me 😅🥹
i dont know who's suffering more, if eva or amber 😭
I fucken love how happy and excited you are!!!!! Pls don’t ever lose that!!!!!!
Professional ballerinas always look like literal goddesses dancing next to beginners 😅 even though Eva is an advanced beginner. When I see her on her own I always think wow! She's really advancing!! And then Amber stands next to her and epitomizes ballet lol you're both beautiful ❤️
I want her to get fitted by Josephine from the Pointe Shop so bad!!! It'd be so fun to watch!
Same 😊😊😊
Same here😊😊😊
Eva on pointe!❤❤❤❤❤😄
Yesssssss❤❤
YESSS
The young lady with the blue shirt, seems like such a sweetheart. Keep up the training, nothing worth having comes easy.
And the ballerina… amazing legs!
Do another pointe class video! Amber made you feel bad about yourself bc she didn’t say much when you needed encouragement. but you did just as most people would doing in beginning pointe!!!!!
You’ve improved SO MUCH in ballet! Pointe takes a long time. Show people here the baby steps-…. The micro-improvements.
You are doing so well after only a year and a half of ballet as an adult!!
Good job Eva!! I think everyone react the way you did in our first pointe class, started happy and excited and ended up almost crying.
There's a reason she gave you a hard shank!!!!
Hard shank is good for beginners because it strengthens and supports your feet, and the shoes last longer. You shouldn't really break in shoes as a beginner 😬
Ah well, what's done is done 😅😂
Ehhh, it depends- to provide support, the shank needs to conform to the arch, and if someone doesn’t already have strong feet they’ll tend to struggle with a hard shank. If the dancer can’t get over the box because the shank is too hard, that’s not doing them any favors.
I love that despite not having flawless technique herself she clearly knows how to get the best out of any dancer and direct them artistically , but obviously learning ballet herself is only going to make that even better
Love this video. It shows how we take for granted just how difficult even the most basic moves are and how unbelievably talented ballet dancers are. P.s the professional instructor is absolutely hilarious! Her faces had me dying.😂
I love you guys. Your love for dance is so great to see. Love the guy in the background traveling in “character”. Eva, I love your determination to learn ballet. Amber, I love watching you dance and love your humorous tolerance - and encouragement - of Eva’s skills.
the people who are commenting that amber is “rude” or “mean” clearly haven’t seen any other Eva Nyes videos or been to a single ballet class. the way people are saying she’s rude or mean is crazy to me when they have never even spent a minuet with amber.
A minuet 🤔 No pun intended? 🧐😁
@@OlgaRykov wait i’m acuattly so confused what pun is there 😂
@@TaylorSwiftieEdits13i think the pun is Mean by Taylor Swift
@@TaylorSwiftieEdits13a minuet is a ballet move I think
I thinks it's obvious that you now have to do the "how fast can you put on your point shoe" challenge right?!
Eva I think it is incredible you are taking something on as an adult. It’s easy to start things as a child. You are starting a hard thing as an adult. Don’t be overly hard on yourself because you are doing it for the love of it and that will shine through as you get better. ❤
I actually think it's not her feet that causes her issues. I feel like it's her tibialis anterior muscle being too tight. Every time I've had to break from dancing, I've needed to re-stretch the muscle by pointing my toes and rubbing very hard (starting around my knee area, and sliding downward, with constant pressure, using the butt of my palm, towards my ankle).
And strengthening the calf and peroneus longus which is the opposing muscle.
Amber kinda reminds me of Rory Gilmore
I love when dancers help each other and have a ball doing it.
I love the interactions between eva and amber, if I did ballet I'd like to have amber as my teacher, she seems really calm and nice but still pointing what eva did wrong😊
she's calm and explains things but still i would feel very intimidated next to a professional ballet dancer 😮 especially as I'm not as flexible as Eva and worlds apart from Amber
@@anniebe4992 Yeah me too
Watching someone explain and watching someone learn is helping me learn actually !! Ty for sharing
You are so brave Eva!!❤❤❤ you're a photographer who has opened herself up to a REEEAAALLLY difficult sport/hobbie/dance style and youre doing great! Keep making these wonderful videos wirh Amber, we're all on thus fabulous journeys with you, with you both! Xx
I love this too! She has spent so much time photographing dancers, and clearly admires their skill and dedication and path in life. It takes a lot of honesty and vulnerability to ask one of them to help her learn. It's so wholesome to see.
the way she holds her breath 😭 girl ur gonna pass out omg
“That’s my worst foot”
“Yeah I can tell”
My toxic trait is thinking I can do this. 💀
You can. As long as you don't have any health concerns that may prevent it or make it dangerous.
Girl... get stepping. You can!
@@BeckBeckGothe can with years of training…
@Julthebaddie They can if they have a lot of leg strength and very good ankles. Anyone can start, you just need to know that your leg strength is powerful and your ankle strength can hold your weight. You don't really need YEARS AND YEARS of training. Maybe like 2 years or 3 until you know you have good strength or muscles. Or if you're just gonna do it for fun one day, like how Eva is doing here :)
@@mayascrew3172 eva isnt just doing this for fun shes been dancing for a few years i think. its really dangerous to just do it with no training at all. and yes you do need 2-5 years of training it heavily depends on the person and how long it takes for them to develop strength 3 years is most common. you also cant just get pointe shoes whenever you want you most likely always need a note from the director of your studio. please do not encourage non-ballet dancers or beginners to buy pointe shoes they could suffer from permanent injuries due to it. anyone can start ballet but you cant just start pointe one day
1:46 可愛すぎる😂❤ アンバーとの温度差がコメディー見たい😂😂
Amber takes some super aesthetic photos, they would be perfect for social media 😍
getting over the box can be hard at first, it may be the shoes pulling u back
Amber is such a patient teacher. So beautiful!! I LOVE watching you guys so much. You bring me great joy. Thank you!!! 🤗🤗🤗❤❤❤
Amber's giving "The Office" vibe 😂
For your first time it looks like youre doing really well.
I’ve seen what other ballet dancers do to make their pointe shoes just right. Crushing, taking them apart,re-sewing them etc.
It’s so nice to see you all excited, it’s something you’re doing simply because you love it
Amber reminds me of Alexis Bledel from Gilmore Girls.
Looks exactly like her
The teacher is so graceful
Just standing with her leg forward is beautiful
A fun video series idea would be that you could get different dancers, the ones from your tiktok/shorts, like Amber to try and teach their "specialty". So maybe one girl is best at a specific leap, or a turn. And their known for that skill. If that makes any sense.
That's a cool idea!
Amber always has a "why am I here I don't wanna be here get me outta here ASAP" look on her face it's so funny 🤣
You got this Eva! Also, as a hearing impaired person, is it possible to turn up Amber's mic? Yours is much louder than hers 🤷♀️
I'm totally deaf so I rely on the closed captioning
Pointe is so pretty!
That was so fun. Thank you for sharing. My first pointe class was also pretty terrible. Pointe is so funny. No matter how much you prepare, it's still SO DIFFERENT than anything you've ever done. There's just no way to really be prepared, I feel like. The good thing is, while ballet never gets any easier, you will get better. I remember thinking there was no way in hell my feet were going to get over in second, but I'm doing it! You'll get there! Just keep working hard :D
how long did it take?
It’s giving bad cop good cop😂
i love Amber, she is so funny and also a great teacher
Eva is in good shape for someone her age but still struggles. It really makes you appreciate just how talented and hard working these young people are, that they can do this all with seeming ease. I hope she keeps working at it.
How old is she? "Good shape for someone her age" sounds like she's OLD😂
@@herrahoohuu like 25 or 26, I think. And for that age, she’s in good shape. These teens and in some cases tweens, are just in amazing shape and training.
@@herrahoohuushe’s 26
Someone come and get this girl a softer pointe shoe 😂
They will soften as she practices! That harness in the box will help in the long run!!
Some people are saying Amber is mean. I believe she has a good heart and means well or else she would never praise Eva. Although Amber is a good teacher, she would be even better if she learned the phycology part of teaching of using more positive words so that Eva or any other student won't feel insecure about their abilities. Also so they would feel more encouraged to learn. Alot of younger teachers start out this way but through more experience they get better at it. I really admire Ambers talent of being able to spot every mistake and how to correct them!! Shes got alot of potential as an excellent teacher and shes definitely an excellent ballerina!!! Shes my favorite by the way!!!
Too sensitive people... you cant do anything with them... a ferm hand who knows what to do and praise when actually needed, not to inflate someones ego who should be tough in the first place...
What was bad with her? No sugarcoating eh? She seemed like a good teacher to me.. we dont know what happens bts right?
@@user-uv9zr8qs2c That is true with professional dancers. I'm speaking from a business standpoint. Some students aren't born with the flexibility of a dancer and just want to take ballet just for the pure joy of it or to develop the poise of a dancer. If all the students were treated like professionals, than a teacher would loose alot of her students. Believe me, I've seen it. Also there is a way to be a tough perfectionist, at the same time as being tactful and positive at the same time just like I see how the teachers are at Master Dance Academy. No wonder why they have such a successful school!!
@@user-uv9zr8qs2ctheres nothing wrong with being sensitive. its a gift to be able to feel deeply for multiple reasons. it would only be the way a person handles that sensitivity that becomes the issue at hand.
@@user-uv9zr8qs2c if you never praise someone theyll feel like they arent making any improvement, and that can very easily make them quit. its the same thing with over praising them and making them feel like they can never make mistakes. you have to find a balance. and you aint "sensitive" for wanting praise and reassurance, we are social creatures. EVERYONE wants to other people to think theyre doing a good job, it boosts self esteem and confidence.
So much further over on the box from when you had your first pointe lesson congratulations🎉
I so enjoy watching you two together it reminds me of my lifelong times with my close friends.

I love your videos! Amber is so good at Pointe!!! 🤍🤍🤍
All of this takes me back to when I first started pointe. I was a couple of years older than the typical age, but it was easier for me to learn/adapt.
Ahh, memories of my first ever pointe lesson! It’s hard work but pretty satisfying once you start getting the hang of it so keep it up!
People are rude to amber😢 she has the same personality as my bestfriend. Though they seem to be rude, they're not actually rude honestly.
