I believe Patreon has stricter rules (all nudity must be behind a paywall, no sex) and is a subscription based only way to distribute exclusive content. OnlyFans allows people to have free accounts and access pay per use content, as well as a subscriptions, so it's a better cash grab if you're less interested in building up a subscription community and keeping up with tiered content. I also assume Patreon doesn't have "I'm doing something subversive" cache.

I get what you’re saying, but he excuse for posting this on only fans was that she was trying to share a childhood memory with her fans and connect with them on a deeper level. If she wants to connect with her fans and share deeper stuff with them and have them pay for it she can do it on patreon. Instead, she had people pay for a video of her as a child exposing herself on a website for sex work in a way that suggests it’s sexual content on top of people already thinking it’s sexual content. That’s distribution of child pornography regardless of it being herself, regardless of her being an adult now and regardless of her not intending it to be that way.
@carlie I was mostly just pointing out the OnlyFans popularity over Patreon. And frankly I don't know if putting her video up on Patreon would have flown either, even without extra dumb caption. Just stumbled upon your channel and I appreciate your explanation. I first found out about the scandal from her “apology” video on her channel and I was so confused on what happened. I was beginning to lean toward the, “I can see where her mistake began and I see how harmful it can be but she seemed to be unaware of this beforehand”. Watching your video and having you point out so many things that went straight over my head from my own interpretation really changed my view on this. You are so well spoken and consolidated all your points to help people see the entire picture. I stand by your reaction and this is absolutely inappropriate and a crime.

What every child deserves is for the adult to be the adult, draw the line, and distance them as far away from any kind of sexual encounter. It’s that simple.
