- Today we’re looking at the new Nvidia App, which looks set to replace the Nvidia control panel AND the GeForce Experience App.
Though one feature which stood out to me was the RTX Dynamic Vibrance filters that use AI to give your games a more vibrant new look.
I was curious to see how it would impact games, and what levers we would be given to tweak things to our liking.
The app is in beta, but can be downloaded from Nvidia here: www.nvidia.com/en-gb/software...
I’ve also made a similar video over on my flight sim channel where we look at it specifically with the sim, if you’d like to check out that video, it’s over here: • NEW Nvidia AI Filters:...

Maybe it looked different before youtube had its way with it but it doesn't look like there is any real benefit to it that couldn't be achieved by turning up the in-game brightness.
How I add a profile is not letting me add none
how much does that affect fps?🤔
nice video 👍
Not a fan of the haze. It definitely adds light to darker areas without too much of the over-blown/over-exposed look of raising gamma alone.
This is just NVIDIA's Reshade 💀
The RTX dynamic vibrance does not work with HDR. No matter how much I try, I cannot improve on HDR when turning it off. 😒
the RTX dynamic vibrance is only for people without HDR monitors afaik, it's like a fake HDR
It's more for people with HDR monitor lol why do you need HDR without HDR support so what are you talking about :D It's for games that don't have HDR or don't work properly like Last Of Us Part 1 it forces 10k nits output when it HDR is running!@@whyareless
@@yuutoeu2689 I only read the part from nvidia that you use RTX dynamic vibrance on a non-HDR monitor to give you the feel of HDR in games
I might have misunderstood it so i appreciate your comment :P
@@whyareless No that's RTX HDR, different feature - same place
I have this new Nvidia feature in my LG monitor for last 5 years. It's called black stabilizer. Zero performance impact.
Get ready for something truly groundbreaking: NVIDIA is currently developing a game filter for ShadowPlay that utilizes AI to transform video game graphics into stunning photorealism on the fly. It's poised to revolutionize gaming as we know it. Get ready to be blown away!
Did you just leave the exact same comment on a similar video on my other flight sim channel? Regardless, rest assured I’m ready to be blown away!
@@davidnott_ 🤣
Please increase the bitrate of your videos bro
Funny you should say, I spent the day tweaking OBS settings!
basically stripped down ReShade.
can't wait for AI hackers
What a time to be alive!
David, you need to learn how to edit.
You don't need to show yourself going through the menu every time. Cut it out & do fast side by sides.
I dont like it, it looks bleached out like heavy gamma lifts
Did u turn off windows hdr?
it's not fucking ai at all. It is literally just a filter. I hate nvidia so much.
Actually, yeah. It's a good "filter" pumped up with AI to not deintegrate colours, applied on DRIVER level.
It's a free, optional option, for you to try. HATING is kinda harsh.
