I just purchased and installed Squad just yesterday after watching hours of your videos. I was a huge Battlefield fan but have always been seeking more. Finally found it in Squad. Thank you.
How are you liking SQUAD so far? Any questions or anything you need help with?
Welcome to the squad.
@@slandshark hey dude can windows 7 run squad?
I just LOVE these armor battles Love this channel!!
Some good rounds we had man
Man I'm such a big fan karmakut I Love your videos you make my day
Happy New Year, Karmakut!
Happy New Year keep the great work Karma
Thanks for the full match.
Hopefully this game will add destroyable structure in one way or another.
This is a great game. Also, 40 v 40 is pretty big. Keep up the good work!
Legit. Nothing worse than an SL screaming about how you need to kill people, but not telling you where they are or marking them on the map...
I love when you drive m1a2 Abrams tank
Hostile bush dead ahead !!
1st time I've checked out your merch, really like some of the designs. I'm gonna order a sweatshirt in the coming weeks.
This game is awesome. Being a heavy machine gunner or medic is my favorite. Competence goes a long way in squad
Yo that SL ArtofWar was such a smart ass lol
Good rounds
Wow, 40 vs 40? that's intense :)
Is that a battlefield like kind of game? what's the difference?
PhoeniXeb A realistic battlefield.
@@AceBoogieWDaHoodie What do you mean by "realistic"? :)
to me it looks better than BF
@@PhoeniXebGaming The game has more realistic pacing and damage models. Also, it requires planning, teamwork (as denoted by the name), and a lot of logistical work.
@@TeamPill Got it :) thanks for the info ^^ sounds great, I'll try it
Hey karma would love to see some mechanize Infantry gameplay, Awesome video ;)
👍👍👍 happy New year 🎉 🎉🎉
Damn, that artillery strike was intense!
Ahhh I wish I could still play this game :( alas 2 years of updates later, the same cpu suddenly refuses.
Well done Karma
Last time i was this early Squad was in beta...this game has come a long way
Still is.
@@blueskynet7926 oh i thought i got out of beta a little while ago...game looks great for beta then
HAPPY 2020 Squaddies !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
is it just me or does BACON sound exactly like DUKE NUKEM?
This driver actually responds quickly to Karms commands compared to other people.
great vid mate, god fuck me driving that thing and shooting irl is a nightmare, anything past walking pace the gun sight goes everywhere you cant even see the target let alone shoot it looking down that thing :D
My PC can’t handle a game like that☹️
Maybe you can save up and upgrade the nec items a lil at a time...lots of good deals if ya do some searchin...especially buying last year models of graphics cards and CPU/GPU etc...
never give up, depending on how old you are it could be easier or harder to get a good pc. if you cant drive yet, just mow lawns and take care of pets until and save up for one. you can't go wrong with hard work
Imagine that arty strike with destruction effects.
And imagine game server blowing up
Best driver
Can you play this game in every country?
Looks like a nice game but I wish you could destroy the buildings and other structures
In real life they have upgraded the tank to have stabilized gun
in real life they have rpg nets as well which are very effective against them but that would make them so OP
The Israelis have the Merkava (Chariot) tank with hanging chain and iron ball netting attached to the bottom of the back of the turret, so that rpg fire directed at that weak spot would explode prior to penetrating the armour, potentially saving the tank and everyone’s life in it. Also they have the engine in the front and both the driver and the turret situated farther back towards the rear, so that any tank shell that breaches the already incredibly well armoured hull from the front, hits the engine instead of entering the crew compartment. Pretty smart guys, those Jews eh? I’d love to see the IDF being a faction for Squad in the future. It would be pretty cool to see the Galil in the game. That was my favourite gun to use in CoD Black Ops back in the day.
@@JesusFriedChrist
yeah the engine in the front adds nothing in terms of protection against modern long apfsds penetrators, and ruins the tanks heat signature from the front
No they didn,t.40mm version is still in trials..
3rd ID, patch on my shoulder. Jump in ya Brads and follow me, mechanized infantry
HEHEHE everytime my IEDs went off it was a "Jesus Christ" sadly I couldnt blow them earlier since I had a friendly squad sitting ontop of one of them on Al Khadir....
Complains about warrior having no stabilization in the game, brother you should see that shit in real life on a run in all you see is sky and ground
Haha i was that HAT that missed 3 fucking tandems lmao i was so fucking drunk i thought the 50m meant 50 feet

Question: Do you guys like or hate the Warrior?
It's a shitbox, not having the stabilization is a big problem.
depends what side your on
@@blueskynet7926 I feel you, it was shit. Especially the manual reload.

@Jaxon Ace the decade star in 2021
Every time i see an enemy go down to small arms / MMG fire it makes me sad they haven't yet implemented a proper response to getting your flesh torn up by a high velocity round passing through it.
Even more so when hit by cannon rounds and shells. They added it to Post Scriptum in some sense. So clearly they can add it to Squad.
But what really bothers me is that once "incapacitated" you are put in a kind of "god mode" state. You can't finish off a downed player and that is pretty shit if you ask me.
Not only that though, even if you were downed by a 25 mm cannon round to your eye socket, a strip of bandage will fix that and then you sprinkle on some fairy dust on that and you are back to 100% health.
And then there's the whole "i can still do everything else just fine while dead" issue. Like chatting it up with your squad, relaying information and even plot stuff on the map.
If you ask me "what would make this game twice as awesome as it already is" i would answer, they need to make your life COUNT to more than just a ticket.
As a player you really should think twice before you sprint around a blind corner. And all this run and gun mentality needs to be forcibly toned down.
Here's a few of my ideas to that effect:
- If you "give up" you should be punished for it as it costs your team valuable resources to replace you. Giving up means you have a debuff runnin on your newly spawned character called "greenhorn" that makes you sprint slower, have a "combat filter" on all sounds so all weapons sorta sounds the same to you and you can no longer equip certain kits.
- If you are incapacitated you can also be permanently killed. No more god mode in downed state. There's however no punishment if you are killed or bleed out.
- Being incapacitated should leave you with a chance to wake up again. Enemies therefore have to ensure you are truly dead.
- Make soldiers more resilient to death overall but also make any damage received more permanent unless you get to a field hospital. If you are shot in the leg (or even have it blown off Post Scriptum style) you can still engage in combat but you won't be able to sprint, run, walk or even stand depending on the damage received. Likewise, if you are hit in the chest you are constantly out of stamina and can't aim proper. Or if your arm is taken off you are limited to your sidearm. The field hospital should be your only means of a complete recovery from such injuries but of course medics play a vital role in giving you back some of your abilities if you are hurt. And even then, without a visit to a field hospital and regardless of how many medics pile on top of you, you will of course never recover and you will be a burden to your squad and especially it's medics who constantly have to buff you. Make medevacs a thing!
- Some kinds of damage (more than exists currently) should be unrecoverable states regardless of how much you are smooched by a medic. You can't really tell ahead of time if you are in this state or not. A medic will have to examine you and after so many attempts actually declare you deceased on the spot.
- Unconsciousness should ALWAYS equate to not being able to communicate in any way. Unfortunately there will be ways around this limitation but assuming fair play is in effect, you are going to shut the fuck up when you die. This works great in ArmA because all comms (mods which most hosts run nowadays) happen over TeamSpeak and is linked to the game in question. Squad could do the same and hook into Discord and Teamspeak to at least attempt to prevent you from communicating with others while you are incapacitated.
Beyond that, in a perfect world, i would like it if it took a bit more effort to establish a steady stream of reinforcements.
Rally points are a blessing and a curse at the same time. Rally points (or spawning close to the action in any form) means there's no fear of having to reconnect with your squad if you die. And no fear leads to run and gun situations. Run and gun detracts from teamwork and makes it so there's that one type of player that knows the value of communication, planning, tactics and working together while the rest are more like "if i die i will respawn in 30 seconds and it's no biggie".
Well, i am not saying everyone should spawn back at main at all times. But if you die you shouldn't be put back into the fray by simply waiting for a timer to elapse either.
So here's my idea to this effect...
If you die... Wait for it... If you die, you are KICKED from the server and sent to join a different one altogether.
"Wait wut aw hell naw" you might say.
But the idea behind this is that you don't actually have to wait to respawn at all, but you don't know who will be commanding you or what state you will respawn into. This means Squads will value their squad members as much as they do in one life events. Because once gone they have no idea when they will gain reinforcements and once those reinforcements arrive they have no idea of who they are. Similar to real life where reinforcements are always a burden to a squad who previously trained and operated together in perfect cohesion.
But wait, there's more!
As an alternative to what i said above. Imagine you, once you die, are NOT kicked from the server. But instead you respawn immediately into some base camp where you are given tasks that aid your team in logistics or you run a random training programme.
This way you have control of your "respawn timer" while also contributing to the effort in times of great loss. The faster you complete your assigned tasks, the faster you can respawn at your rally point.
The time to complete said tasks is about the same as waiting to respawn, and the better you get at it the faster you will respawn. But it gets tedious having to do these menial tasks after a while and you start valuing your existence in the actual battle more. Who wants to go through "bootcamp" one more time?
-----------------------------
With my suggested field hospital in mind, it would also mean logistics plays a more important role. Not only do you need to set up a HAB and rally points etc, but it's actually worth it to support your squads more more than just ammo and a place to respawn. The logistics goes both ways now, to and from the frontlines.
And finally, as i said before, make deaths count more than just a lost ticket and loss of manpower in an assault.
In fact, remove the whole tickets situation altogether and replace it with resources. Said resources refill slowly over time and without resources you can't respawn your team and it's assets. Making it so there's yet another way of actually defeating an enemy by simply removing his resources (manpower) to the point where they simply cannot put them back into action to defend against a powerful assault.
Losing your entire team means losing A LOT of ground as a team. Pouring more resources at an objective becomes a balance act of "can we afford to replenish them" or do we actually have to back off and find another way because the rate of losses is too great.
Tickets work the same way currently but they have no value unless they go really really low. At which point you throw a haymaker to complete an objective so you get a static 100 tickets back for being able to get lucky.
With actual resources however, there's always an option of losing one objective to gain another or throwing it all at one objective and losing it all. Having to start over if allowed or possibly being overrun at main.
And yes, the main base protection system is silly if you ask me. If you are getting attacked at main you DEFEND it. Your main base is your primary objective and what the enemy can do to you, you can do to your enemy.
bruh is this a pasta
