I love how you refer to 1200-1800 horsepower as mild. That's just Awesome. You guys really are be-awesome (Bolt). Thank God you all walked away. My Dad used to run super-stock and it was something like this that got him out of racing. Had a front tire that was getting dodgy but thought he could push it through one more race, lack of funds for him lack of time for you. He had just finished building the car and the engine and after setting a lap record on his qualifying he lost that tire and totaled the car.

You tested the sh!t out of those parts!! It's amazing how much pressure and power is really happening inside of these diesel engines and they hold it just fine. Like you said nothing would have held or survived the pass u did there and it was far beyond normal operating parameters but it's still crazy how much these things can take and still go. Most importantly you and everyone else came back in one piece!!

PowerDrivenDiesel kinda we had our fair share of broken blocks, cranks and bearing problems. Our biggest problem is we aren't allowed to use different castings. So block, head and crank are the weakest points. Still we push about 2500hp from a 510ci International with a single 4.8" hypermax Turbo.
