    Thank you for this! I know my designs are beautiful and I know my materials are high quality, but I’m struggling to bring in sales outside of friends. It seems like Etsy really isn’t pushing me out to people!

      Hi Lilly, trust me, we have all been there 😖
      Have you set up an instagram or pinterest for your jewellery yet??
      My advice is to put yourself out there more, try and get a broader audience of people's attention and then direct them to your Etsy.
      Get yourself involved in the community in your area if you can. See what events are on, look into getting involved, be that through pop up stalls displaying your beautiful pieces or posting stuff you're working on in relevant facebook groups.
      Whatever you do, keep at it. Sometimes progress is slow, but it is still progress!
      Jess x

    Question. Do I have to have a regular on-line shop separate from Etsy to be able to sell on their site? What about e-bay or Facebook? Or would just having a website and a blog be enough? I have a shop that isn’t set up yet on Yahoo, and a separate website. Do I need the shop or just the website?

      @JewellersAcademy  Před 6 lety +4

      HI Aleta, to sell on Etsy you don't need anything other than to set up an Etsy account. They provide the online store for you. However, if you have your own website and online store that can be another avenue for sales too, separate to Etsy. Likewise, if you have a blog you can either link that to your Etsy shop page or to your own website to help drive traffic to either source. I hope that helps, best of luck, Jess

    is google shopping where you budget per day for clicks with no control over keywords or price per click?

    • @JewellersAcademy
      @JewellersAcademy  Před 4 lety +1

      Yes I believe so - you will probably set a budget and keywords, and then pay per click.

      Listing your products daily and using good keywords is the best way to maximise your visibility on Etsy, and therefore hopefully achieve sales too. Hope that helps! x

      Sorry to hear you feel like that, I'm guessing you might have had a bad experience but lots of people find it a really great platform. There are lots of other platforms for selling so hopefully you'll find one that works for you x
