- Maxson Goh Films the first revenue service trip for the new Kawasaki Heavy Industries & CRRC Qingdao Sifang C151C. Set 701/702 arrived at Ang Mo Kio Station towards Choa Chu Kang at 7.09am, followed by Set 703/704. Both trains meet side by side at the end of the video at Choa Chu Kang.

Unfortunately it doesn't have the emergency exit window on the NEL/CCL/DTL. Maybe it's by design (complex train systems plus brownfield)
Oh btw, that ending would've been a photo-op, if the train arriving came slightly later.
Becuz NEL, CCL, DTL are driverless trains, they can have emergency exit doors!

I was on 703/704, the train was departing Kranji towards Yew Tee, the train suddenly jerked and slowed down, I’m not sure if that train went to Bishan depot for repairs

So I'm assuming pretty much every EWL and NSL trains that are introduced after the year 2000 are all gonna be based on the C751B with the same motor sounds and whatnot.
No the next gen won't, I'm sure you heard that the new gen trains are coming to nslewl 2021. Different series, different motor, you should complain about 151 famy being the same, lots of countries do the same, you think they so rich? Smrt focus most on renewing right now cause of wear and year, now they are focusing on better built train which they are doing right now in 2021 there will be a new series train, and motor

Bishan Depot Serve The North South Line,And Trains Will Arrive Or Debut From Ang Mo Kio Station First.Bishan Depot Is Also Located Between Ang Mo Kio And Bishan Station So It Is Very Easy For Trains Coming From Bishan Depot To Ang Mo Kio Station Towards Jurong East.
But sooner or later more debut will be based on EWL

SMRT is quite smart this time. They put the trains on AMK-CCK to discourage regular passengers (usually JE transfers) from riding (effectively a "charter" run), and ran two trains to minimize fan crowding that always ends up with ugly politics by evening.
