- [SMRT] 36 Years of NSEWL - All 7 Generations of MRT Trains at EW10 Kallang
Filmed on 6th November 2023
Today on the 7th of November, we celebrate 36 years since the first sector of our MRT rail network in Singapore opened, back in 1987. Back then, there was only one rolling stock, which was the Kawasaki Heavy Industries C151, and only 5 MRT stations, Toa Payoh, Braddell, Bishan, Ang Mo Kio and Yio Chu Kang.
Fast forward 36 years, there are now 7 different trains running on NSEWL for passenger service, it really shows how much our network has expanded and the number of trains we have.
In chronological order;
Kawasaki Heavy Industries C151, Siemens Aktiengesellschaft C651, Kawasaki Heavy Industries & Nippon Sharyo C751B, Kawasaki Heavy Industries & CSR Qingdao Sifang C151A, Kawasaki Heavy Industries & CRRC Qingdao Sifang C151B, Kawasaki Heavy Industries & CRRC Qingdao Sifang C151C and Alstom Movia & CRRC Changchun R151.
SGT2581 Announcement: With LTA announcing the retirement of the First, Second and Third Generation Trains in Singapore, (Kawasaki Heavy Industries Contract 151, Siemens Aktiengesellschaft C651 and Kawasaki Nippon Sharyo C751B), both of us will be filming more of these trains on both NSL and EWL, to commemorate the great service that these trains have provided. - Auta a dopravní prostředky

@@Vannaderina3142studiosSGT I still Miss 043/044
C751B and C151B trains are my favourite for the two lines. Different liveries but simliar interiors, doors and motor sound. C651 also but only the liveries and the motor sound but I always prefer the C151B more because of their brakes and the new system. Even though the C151B is quite spammy on the NSL, I still enjoy seeing them more often compared to the problematic KHI and C151A.
@@SGrailadventure2004 completely agree! I believe KSFB and Cs are over-hated sometimes (except KSF A)
its been so long since C151B debuted but it still feels new
C151B is 6 years old as of now but it is not that long but C151 has already been in service for the longest time since it is the oldest rolling stock among the other train models on NSEWL.
@mychannelproduction2107 Sice C151b have not retire yet, it is to young.
Nice and thanks for trainspotting all the train at EW10 Kallang mrt station
EWL W Line since it has all 7 Stolling Rocks that day
Nice video!👍
Love seeing the C151B more as they are my personal NSEWL models to ride
nice to look back into the past!
It's finally the birthday of the C151s!:)
Nice
Only 6 rolling stock on NSL still.

Ooof R151 hard brake (to me it looks like it)
Seems to be C151Cs on EWL service is still not stable yet.
When will they come on board without getting them out again anymore but to serve permanently on EWL.
Tot I can board 1 train ride of that model. Cos I have nvr taken it when I travel on EWL 😢🙏🤦♂️
C151C on EWL still may be a rare occurrence, but at least it should happen more unlike completely nothing from 2019 to 2023.
@@sgt2581 hopefully they can balance the trains across both lines. Not one line concentrating on oni 1 or 2 models but can be spilt across both lines with different train models.
EWL always oni got not enough KSF models leh.
Hope they can do smt abt this, so to make both lines commuters to be able to get a fair share of possibility of getting on board KSF especially EWL. I travel more on EWL tho as I live along this EW line.... 🤞🙇♂️🙏
@@themarcus368agree man. I would like a mixture of R151 & KSF's on both NSL & EWL not just
NSL = KSF ( underrated line temp for now till R151 Debut)
EWL =R151
There the little fuesbox ,What is it for at the end of the station?
C651 set 215/216 and 233/234 has been sent to scrap in 2024
0:25 when C751B, C151/A/B/C be like
in the future we wont be able to see most of the trains as they would most likely be sent for scrap
Bro why train is red?
????
first
I prefer C751B
