For the Darnold/Trevor debate, I think that Arizona may have set a precedent when they took Kyler Murray when they already drafted Josh Rosen in the first round the year before. If you think that Trevor is the guy, them you *must* take him, no matter what.

Sam Darnold looked good in the first half he's getting better I Love watching Mekchi Becton the Jets got to get in the draft a bookend for Mekchi and grab a free agent stud O-lineman another a legit Pass Rusher the D looked good liked Perrine and Mims Joe and Evan if Joe Douglas gets it right in the draft the Jets next year if we live that long I predict the Jets will at least make the playoffs and your right Quinnen Williams looks like a future star
Sam is horrific, he had one decent drive with one good play on the 3rd and 20 conversion. There's no evidence at all that he's getting better but there's plenty to show he's gotten worse and its decision making that have nothing to do with Gase or the talent. He's literally not throwing to wide open guys he stares at. Becton gave up two sacks, pressures and multiple penalties. He's good but a work in progress. Quinnen has had two good games in two seasons. He's invisible 90% of the time, so how is he a future star? Stop with this bullshit optimism, I swear Jets fans live for possible future potential and 'flashes' that are shown in garbage time.

Best case scenario: the young players all play better and improve but we still get the 1st pick. That includes Darnold after securing the pick. We trade Darnold for a good deal (1st rounder + something). We draft Trevor. Reset our clock on a cheap QB to allow more rebuilding time. Be a playoff team in 2022 or 2023

The NFL is going to have to go to a draft lottery. All anybody has been talking about ALL SEASON in NY is tanking. Both the Giants and the Jets. Every year there are at least 3-5 teams in tank territory. This is slowly going to kill football.
In European soccer leagues the teams that finish at the bottom of the division get relegated to a lower league. They are replaced with the champions from the lower league. This happens every season in every major soccer league in Europe & South America. I'd rather watch teams fight to stay in the league than tank for a draft pick. You think this season is bad? Imagine losing your status as an NFL team and being forced to play in the CFL or XFL until you can win the league. That would spice things up a bit...
