The jets are playing historic football. Historically bad. This is why it's worth tuning in. We can tell our grandchildren about this team.
I know another one of the humps/shills on the commercial sports radio station said that, but it's idiotic. Their product is thoroughly unwatchable. I promise you that's not why you want them to go 0-16.
You want them to go 0-16 because neither ownership nor head coach can justify 0-16.
Gase would already be gone if there were fans in the seats in most NFL stadiums, but you can't be embarrassed by an empty stadium when you weren't filling it to begin with. However, one never gets the egg off of their face from a winless season. The Johnson's need that rotten egg terribly to force them to change the way in which they're doing things and allow Joe Douglas or whichever GM they hire next (should they fire Douglas with Gase, which I believe would be a mistake, but I don't own the team) to run the football program and hire the next HC as his employee. And in case you don't know, NFL owners make marginally more money when their teams miss the playoffs since the revenues, including all playoff revenues, are pooled - that's been proven (I can provide sources should you request it), so it may take an 0-16 embarrassment to pressure the Johnson's enough into trying to change what they're doing.

@@rthompson9652 naw it's cool; Bart was the co-host on the Bart and Maggie show on WFAN radio, it was a really good show. ESPN offered Bart a job, WFAN I think offered him more money and control (not 100% about that) he took the job with ESPN, I think WFAN was salty, I feel like ESPN then shelved him and he isn't getting as much air time, when he was Great and a daily listen on WFAN.
One of those things where he got more money way more exposure, but our fan base NY NJ is missing out on great shows and content. I'm not sure they would still have Bart because it was a public breakup and there was some controversy there.

I feel bad for the Jets. Where do they start in terms of rebuilding. Thereâs no piece to start with. Obviously if you want you can say darnold or Trevor Lawrence, but with this roster around them (and if the coach somehow stays), you are throwing them into a shredder on top of a pit of lava.
They have no1 but themselves to blame. They're sitting on 30m. They couldve improved the oline like sign conklin or jason Peters or brian bulaga. Instead they opt for George fant. They play bechton when hws hurt only to get him further hurt. They let andersen go. They needed WRs in the draft and selected 1 in a wr heavy draft. They sat on their arse nd never even made an attempt to get diggs or dhop who both went for pennies on the dollar. They draft a backup qb in rd 4 when they needed another wr or pass rusher. They gave out a ton of bs 1yr contracts last offseason. They enable the hc to run off good talented players nd I can go on nd on. The embarrassing ineptness of this franchise is real
