I’m a Jets fan and I love Joe because he knows how it feels to suffer with the rest of us Jets fans.
I’ve been hanging in there since 1965. And it’s always wait till next year. I’m running out of next years and so is Joe. That’s why he’s always on edge, and so am I. It’s a good thing I don’t have a podcast or you’d really hear some venom flying.
I moved outta NYC decades ago and have lived outside the country for decades. I could listen to these guys talk NY Jet football for hours and hours. ……thank you gentlemen, for making me feel at home every once in a while. God bless! And happy Thanksgiving!

I am a life long Giants fan. I have many friends who are Jets fans. I don’t hate the Jets or root against them…and, I have been extremely lucky that my team has won a SB in every decade since the 1980s. It is absolutely incredible how much goes wrong for the Jets. Every positive becomes a negative, every win a loss, every pick an issue. It goes against the laws of probability.
The Namath curse is real! He sold his soul to win that Super Bowl over the Colts and cursed the Jet’s franchise for eternity.
Variance doesn’t exist in the Jets organization
A lot of the bad luck is a result of dysfunction within the organization.

You're ignoring the real problem like every Jets fan because its easier to blame 1 person instead of acknowledging the real problem. I guess you forgot about Rodgers saying how bad the Oline was all preseason.... go back and watch all the sacks... 1-1.5 seconds and he's on the ground and no one is open to throw the ball to. By not being honest with yourself acknowledging the real problem, it will continue.

The Jets have a demonstrated history of not being able to cultivate young quarterbacks. Chad Pennington aside…they just turn and burn QB’s.
the jets did draft richard todd and ken obrien. while ultimately failing they at least helped their teams make the postseason. sanchez also had more success than sach wilson ever will. its only going to get worse.

At the draft, Saleh had a preference for Sam Darnold and trading down. Douglas and Woody were enamored with Wilson. I think Saleh is told what to do and that's it. His coaching will improve when he move to his second job. Player friendly coaches usually fail when the team has adversity and needs accountability.

As a dolphin fan I listened to JB for about 15 years, for the most part his career Mon mornings would be a laugh fest on his break down of the game. I hope Joe gets a w in the Superbowl at least once in his life 🎉

As a jet fan and knowing the jet dolphin rivalry of the 80s when it was at its craziest. Knowing that the jets aren’t gonna go anywhere now cause they lost. I wish the dolphins the best. There ahead in the afc east. I felt bad for Buffalo after the 13 second game. But since the jets aren’t gonna do anything I wish Miami the best
@@user-oh6eg4ny3h back in 1969 I lived in Manhattan and made friends with these 2 brothers and they turned me on to sports as the year changed from BB, 🏈 + 🏀 and after the Mets played in the 🌎 series in Oct my buddy's and I watched the jets and I rooted for them. I loved Namath to Maynard I watched them beat the colts. In 71 we moved to the Bronx and I watched 🏈 in my room and back then there was the black out rule and Mia was on TV constantly and I liked them both ( sounds stupid I know) when the Jets drafted Kenny O'Brien instead of Marino that was the straw that broke my back lol, I met Joe Willie playing RF when he owned Bachelor's 3 such a cool dude actually signed my baseball glove and spent a few minutes talking to me, happy Thanksgiving

It’s because you’re going on 4th when it’s a short yardage situation or when you’re in desperation and need the down.
Running the ball up the middle twice or throwing an incompletion on one of the first two downs have generally gotten the Jets into a 3rd&7+.
It isn’t some mind-bending stat.
The worst thing to happen to the Jets was ironically winning that Buffalo game when Rodgers went down…because it gave them false hope that Wilson could get the job done

The old “why does this keep happening?” Acting like Zach is the issue. He has some good games and it’s all “he’s got talent” and a few bad games and it’s like “what were they thinking?” There’s zero consistency with them.
Zack can't process or read defenses worth a S...t!!! He would have been benched a lot earlier with Shanahan, McVay, or Reid! 3 years and he still doesn't get it! You have rookie QBs right now better at processing and reading defenses than Zack! I know the O-line and other than 1 receiver are bad, but at some point the QB has to carry and do something for an offense, even a little!
It's true, the Jets cannot develop a QB. Zach situation is a little different. He cannot complete simple easy passes on a consistent basis. The guy is not understanding the game. Too much talent on this team. Shanahan got rid of Trey Lance, so now you think he can fix Zach. No coach should want anything to do with this kid.
I always thought it was Saleh who was convincing Douglas to continue with Zach Wilson. And that Douglas was sacrificing his good judgement for the coach's belief in Zach Wilson.

I want rodger’s to come back asap so he can play behind this line and make them better. I’m told he can do that. The first couple of plays before he got hurt were just an anomaly. They’ll be a dominant force going forward. Guaranteed!Maybe he’ll bring new gloves for the receivers, tight ends, and running backs so the ball will stick to their hands. He could possibly teach guys how to block without holding. I mean he’s Aaron f-in Rodgers, his greatness will surely rub off on this team.

Tiki’s point about it easier for QB’s to play to an older age in the past is completely absurd. The league rules today protest the QB soooo much more than in past decades.

Are you guys blaming Saleh, or Joe Douglas? Saleh has had no OC, no QB, no O line, and you want to blame HIM for not winning? In 5 years you can't count the number of good free agent signings on one hand. DJ Reed, Quentin Richardson. Am I leaving anyone out? Tyler Conklin and Sheldon Rankins were ok. So was Morgan Moses, but we lose because we don't resign him. Jordan Whitehead is not terrible, but misses a lot of tackles. Adrian Amos has been ok in limited snaps. Conner McGovern has been meh. But Tomlinson, Fant, Uzomah, Hardmon, Cook, Lazard, Cobb, Jarrad Davis, Lawson, Solly Thomas, Billy Turner have all been terrible. He's had ONE great draft class. the rest have been meh. He's had horrible luck when it comes to injuries. Cam Clark, Lawson, and Chuck Clark this year, but the old saying goes "luck is the residue of design."

After Rodgers went down they should of been on the phone at halftime looking for a QB. They let Mike White go who was a perfect back up that sparked the offense whenever he went in. Other teams are playing with back up QB'S and they are doing fine. Instead we keep Zac the sack machine.

The biggest issue with this offense is it looks like they don't have any fun. Whenever they go out there they look like they're walking into a dentist appointment. Have some sort of identity and stop being scared.
Their offensive line is absolutely terrible. Tom Brady in his prime wouldn’t play well behind this offensive line. That’s their biggest problem right now.

I still dont understand the appeal of Joe and how he befriends all these coaches, etc. His analysis is limited to “why dont we play the guy, you dont know what we have” and any opponent who hasn’t won a championship he just dismisses. Seems like his shelf life is about 20 years longer than it should be

Rodgers can't come back and just re-tear the Achilles tendon. He'll start the clock over again. I just had the surgery. They are slow to heal and nothing can change that.

Hackenberg was the worst because taking him in the 2nd round prevented us from getting a QB in the 1st round the following year. Who did we pass on? Patrick Mahomes and Deshaune Watson. Christian Hackenberg kept us from getting Mahomes or Watson. Think about that one.
Robert Salah has no idea of offense in this league. The average fan knows more about offense than this head coach

Ok, the reason the jets held zach as the starter, is because hes the only QB the jets have that wont get killed out on the field (literally & physically). It now makes perfect sense when Saleh said: zach is the best chance to win" its because saleh was foreshadowing a fact.
The jets dont wanna put a backup out on the field with that terrible Oline (because it happened with A A ron) and for all of the backups to go down like a stack of dominoes would be a terrible look for the jets, hence why, saleh and Douglas kept zach out there. because hes available and knows the Oline.
The reason the jets didn't go after a legit backup is because it would cause confusion with the team(following season)
and hurt the confidence of Aaron Rodgers.
Taking Aaron Rodgers was a bad idea, it did and will hurt the confidence of the entire team... during the offseason Douglas was supposed to trade picks with the rams and bucs to get a legit Oline and they didnt which was very irresponsible of Douglas... it's a lose, lose situation the jets have.
Saleh doesn't know how to evaluate the QB position if he thought Flacco played terrific for the Jets.
Before I say this, I've been a Jets fan since 1990. If the Jets were to move to a different city where would it be? Austin TX? Salt Lake CIty? Boise? Omaha?
