- Back with an old favorite! My opponent requested a match against something other than Bullszat, so I decided to dust off Nin. This is the second game we played, after I lost the first one to a timely Notion Thief. This is a much more interesting game, with a lot of decisions and planning. Overall, it's a great game to showcase what makes Nin such an effective strategy. Enjoy!

Great to see you back Professor Weissman! Looking forward for many more excellent videos to come!
Definitely Deck Tech. The Deck Techs are great.
I’m definitely interested in the Minsc and Boo deck tech!
I never get tired of watching Nin
We need more old school content!
Great to see Nin again. I hate Boo but 100% would like a deck tech please as it's always helpful hearing you discuss card applications
Unsure if you gave any thought to wash away targeting stony silence around the 14:00 mark.
Would have the Mana Vault Tapped, but in hindisght yeah, using the [Cleave] on washaway to prevent a total artifact shutdown had a point.
Mind that, I wouldn't have played this game so well, but I saw that line
This is a great call Nate. It was a consequence of unfamiliarity with the card, as I just added it. I think I just completely forgot I could use Wash Away as a regular three mana counter. It's a tough call either way, but probably better just countering it there at the cost of the use of Vault.
@@Thebrianweissman That definitely explains it. I recall making the same sort of mistake with it, and being quite upset that I forgot it's a cancel.
Deck Tech 💯
Quick Question
With MTG Richmond about to happen next weekend, I just wanted to know if there were any changes to your Omnath Locus of Mana Decklist?
Hey there! I'm happy to share the current list with you, just email me at: brianweissman88@gmail.com to request it. Take it easy.
I thought winter orb was the line after the thief play, but it looks like you took it out :[
It's only there for multiplayer Dillon, not in in 1 vs 1.
@@Thebrianweissman I still can’t believe you don’t run it. But you know way more than me.
Please Share Minsc and Boo!
While I like *some* alternate arts on Magic cards, they definitely have gone too far with it. Even a Pro Magic player at a big tourney passed on a great card for the draft he was in because he couldn't read the Phyrexian typeface.
This is also a similar trend in comic books, alternate covers; IMO, just as toxic in Magic as it is in comic books. People don't buy product because it's good, they buy it "because cool/collectible".
