lol I feel like a 'rate' or % of new followers gained is more accurate. Ana Soklic gaining 3000 and having a total of 8500 (35% increase) is much more impressive than Benny's 3000 gain to a total of 798k (0.38% increase)

I disagree. Benny is more famous in the Czech Republic than Ana in Slovenia, therefore just regarding the eurovision event time-line with absolute numbers shows more who actually followed them because having seen them in the contest. Much more comparable

I would disagree too, before the contest all singers mostly have followers from their own country. So if you live in a big country you often already have more followers. Those followers don't matter to the people who see those singers at eurovision for the first time.

Im just saying they were more followed than the others singers wich may come from even bigger countries like France. To me that was an inditication they were going to be liked more in Europe aswell.
