First time since 1995 and first time since the free language rule was reinstated back in 1999. When you add Ukraine into the mix, that's 4 out of the top 5 songs that were not in English. Additionally, the entire top 6 were either fully or partially composed by the artists themselves (no outside help from Sweden)

In my opinion, not to say yours isn’t valid, this deserved top 3, but as it’s quite ”boring” to listen to most of the time (nothing standing out and having a chill vibe) it doesn’t deserve to win, whereas Måneskin basically brought back Rock n’ Roll completely. They truly stood out with both artistic talent as well as a huge stage presence, with Gjon only having the vocals.

They have talent sure, but it was a fleeting thing for me. Their new stuff isn't as good as their pre eurovision stuff either. On the other hand, I still listen to Tout l'univers and Repondez Moi on a weekly basis and still get moved by the melody, vocals and meaning behind the songs....and then there's sillohouette which is divine.
