sorry friends for some reason I missed Deadly Friend.
âšA great throwback film about a genius kid who creates a robot that turns deadly.
Itâs a fun film with some interesting dark moments.
Would recommend this one for people who are a fan of strange retro movies.
đ€sounds interesting
Cheers!
@@Denheadful1 if you want a strange movie watch jem and the holograms it's not even like the beeping cartoon so happy I didn't see it in 2015đ
@@mikesilva3868 Thanks man.
Also missed Nobody đ but good lord what an effort, thatâs a heap for October! Love these wrap up videos!
"I don't know Marvel movies, I don't understand... there was a really cute creature with no face, it was a fun time"
this is an absolute mood

We need a top 10 Christmas horror movies list
i second that! last year, i did a 12 days of christmas horror thing and it was so much fun, would love to get more recommendations.
Name a few
Best thing I watched was Martyrs. Now my favorite film of all time.
Fright night from the 80âs. My favorite film to watch during October! The special effects, the music, all of it, just the best!!!
Spontaneous was one of my favourite films I watched last year! It was so unexpected and weirdly had me on edge the whole time ! Glad to hear someone else talk about it đ
EEEEEE-TEEEEE!
We love to see a 40 minute long video!!
Friday the 13th is my favorite classic slasher franchise so I binged from the original to Jason X this October. Some of them are just so amazingly bad that I love them.
That Nosferatu screening looks so amazing!! What a cool way to spend Halloween. Iâm jealous
I would say the last season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills was pure horror. A frantic woman terrorizing a group of elderly ladies while they eat. Drama, horror, violence, old men getting caught, old men rolling in the grass, old man fighting bad guys, cars overturning five times, meteorological inconsistencies, and a plot full of twists and turns. Peak horror in my opinion.
Hahaha true that, itâs the cars overturning five times for me đđđŒ
My favourites from October - Midnight Mass and Killing Eve season 1
I did 31 days of horror in October and found so many old gems. The one I liked the most was Kisapmata from 1980. Itâs a Filipino horror/thriller film inspired by true events. Itâs bone-chilling and aggravating, knowing that it happened in real life. I highly recommend this one! Aside from that, I also enjoyed Titane. Gosh, that film was weird as hell. Loved the layered meaning though!
Storm of the Century! One of my favorite King adaptations that no one talks about. Good snowed in movie.
I watched The Trip after this recommendation and LOVED it! Lately foreign films are killin it. Thank you for the recommendation and opening me up to a whole new world of movies.
Glad your feeling better! My fav for October was Midnight Mass, also got into Ted Lasso and Iâm loving it. Good luck on Saturday. Great cause, great human, looking forward to watching! đ
Absolutely love these monthly wrap up videos.
Thanks for run-down, always a pleasure. Guilty is standard fare, true, but we also enjoyed it, JG's performance great!
Glad you finaly came around and watched Spontaneous. Love that movie! đ„
My faves were new Paranormal activity, Freaky, Squid game and new season of Deadwind. Also new season of Dynasty đ I love the real housewives, quilty pleasure for sure!
ah finally found time to check this out! such a good list, thank you for your hard work once again
As always, thanks for giving us great new ideas for what to watch! This October I tried to catch up on highly rated horror/thriller movies I hadn't seen yet ("Fresh Hell" festival). So many good ones! My favorites: The Invitation, The Descent, Martyrs, Spontaneous, Tigers Are Not Afraid, Hush, Black Swan, Marrowbone, Oculus, Don't Breathe, Diabolique, Hard Candy, The Neon Demon, Summer of 84, The Guest. Also caught a few brand new ones I enjoyed: Antlers, Midnight Mass, Halloween Kills.
Wow great suggestions!
Love The Invitation so much!
Love it! Always a pleasure listening to you while I paint â€ïž also watching the movies you recommend while I paint aha
Welcome back!! Great round up, Iâm excited to see your next hidden gem or list video because youâre watching some deep cuts! Awesome video Emma!
Thank you so much Tanner! And thank you for your donation â€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž
@@spookyastronauts itâs a great cause!!! đ€đ€đ€đ€
Don't have any October blues, but things brightened a smidge when I saw a new What I Watched. I'm excited. Thanks in advance.
Here's what I've saw in October
1. A Nightmare on elm street (84)
2. Bloody Birthday
3. Magic (78) with Anthony Hopkins
4. Children of the sea (anime film)
5. Don't be a menace to south central
6. A whisker away ( anime film)
7. A nightmare on elm street: freddy's revenge
8. Raw (2016)
9. The prowler 1981
10. Redline
11. Urusei Yatsura: Beautiful dreamer ( anime film)
12. Terrifier
Just watched the trip! Unexpectedly fun!
Spontaneous was one of my favorites all year. Great vid!! Iâm seeing this late, but I hope the jump was crazy fun!! đ±đđ
I would love a review of Netflix's "Elves" when it hits, I'm excited for it
Glad you're feeling better đ
My favorite films I watched were Possession (1981) and Titane. Haven't stoped thinking of those since i saw them.
Nightmare Before Christmas will always be a favorite and I do not care who thinks I am too obsessed; so you're not alone.
Also, I did not love the ending of Squid Game...I think I know exactly who you are talking about. The character who I thought was so wholesome is now tainted sadly.
One of my watches was The Lovely Bones. I realized it truly is a hard watch after revisiting this film. Dealing with grief is an unescapable human experience. Sometimes we have to be left unsatisfied and figure out how to deal with those repercussions as we fumble to put the broken pieces of ourselves back together. I also watched Eden Lake...this movie was truly disturbing in the way that things of this nature have happened before.
Thank you for always sharing with us what you watch. I look forward to your monthly reviews always. I now have some new films to add to my "watch list" :D
Hope you feel better Emma, amazing video đđđkeep up the good workđ
I had a lot of fun this October. I did a deep dive into New French Extremity along with a slew of other foreign horror movies. In total I watched about 69 new horror movies last month and my favorites were In Their Sleep, Pyewatcket, The Housemaid, and I Saw The Devil.
Spontaneous was so awesome!!!! Thanks for the recommendation đ
Love your vids! keep up the great work!
much love from ontario canada đšđŠ â€ïž

Donated to your cause. So impressed that you are braving this!
Thank you Allie! Iâm terrified
The Trip was a trip, thanks for the recommendation.
I'm really hoping you'll get 100k subs before this year ends. It would be such a deserving gift for you
Thank! I donât think it will happen, probably Feb or something like that. But Iâm happy regardless
The best thing I watched was Midnight Mass. omg I cried like a baby at the end of that. Mike Flanagan never disappoints!
Hands down nothing can beat it, it set the bar TOO HIGH
@@limetreess yessssss
Spontaneous was definitely my favourite movies that I came across in October :)
P2 is a great stalker film. It's set at Christmas time.
I just watched that the other day on Shudder! And I agree.
Yes P2 is great!
Perfect way to start my Sunday
Thank you David!
great video!! iâll be adding The Way Down to my list, thanks! this month i watched Them, the Amazon Prime series, thanks to your previous recommendation, and it was awesome! this month i also watched Ichi the Killer, Titane, and of course, Itâs the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. thanks!! :)
Omg Emma, I watch any horror film, I'd do it in woods, spooky houses etc. I'd never do what you're doing for charity. So amazed. Thank you for the vid and watched Lamb last night because of well, expecting bizarre, and totally right haha. Even now I don't know whether I like it. I think I do haha x keep up the great work you do, from the other side of the pond. Thank you x
Thank you!
@@spookyastronauts you so welcome. Good luck x
Emma, you aren't alone. I logged Karen too, and gave it 1 star as well. Guys, she's right, not worth your time. It has no value.
I'm never this early đâš
Hi Emma đ Always excited for this videos
This October I finally watched Coherence. What a great movie - I absolutely loved it! Definitely going to see it again, just have to rest my brain first.
IÂŽve also watched a lot of gothic horror this spooky season. Best was HitchcockÂŽs Rebecca - just the atmosphere was amazing. Thanks for some great tips, Emma. The trip looks like a movie for me!
Storm of the Century is one of my FAVORITES- Colm Feore is so creepy
My favourite part of There's Someone In Your House is how after the first 5 minutes there is nobody in anybody's house. There is one scene later on where the killer does come into someone's house and sets up a space to kill them, but then just waits outside for no reason.
and just like that my entire day today & month of november are no longer empty
I would never in a million years expect to see a Tommy Wirkola movie recommended on a list like this, so I guess that means I have to watch The Trip? I gotta say that in terms of badly translated names, that really takes the cake, though! Excited to hear your thoughts about it in more details!
I loved Witching and bitching! It also had a great musical scene.
Crime Thrillers are the top go-to for me and my partner to watch together as well. A close second would be historical spy movies or war movies. I can usually count on him to watch one or two horror movies with me a year.
The ending of the "The Witches" remake was actually how the original movie was supposed to end.
Iâm talking more about the upbeat music montage đ
Iâm curious to hear your thoughts on Amazonâs I Know What You Did Last Summer series!
I really enjoyed last night in Soho thought it was great I love the Italian 60âs horror references from Mario Bava.
Watched Nine Days recently and I thought it was amazing. Profoundly moving, humorous, and brilliantly acted...it's the best movie I've seen this year. It's not a horror film but a must-see
My favourite things I watched last month are the Scream series, Titane and The Last Duel. :)
crime thrillers are actually my favorite
Who else died laughing when she said "I don't want to touch too much because it's religion" LOLđ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł
Storm of the century is one if not my favorite horror movie it's up there. I consider it a movie myself. But i agree a remake would be great.
In October I watched May for the first time and it was so good! I also watched the entire Halloween franchise⊠yikes. But my other Halloween go-toâs are Haunt, Trick, and Hell Fest.
Hi Emma, have you given season 3 of Creepshow on shudder a shot?
And yes, I'm definitely dealing with post October blues đ
Not yet!
Do you plan on watching more of Channel Zero? I'm interested in your thoughts on it.
Glad to see you feeling better Emma. đ€đ€
Hope you get a chance to checkout The Harder They Fall on Netflix.
Hahaha you talking about Shang Chi SAME đ€Ł Iâm around so many Marval fanatics and Iâm over here like cute animals yeah lmao
Omg, my little face is in the video, in the âmadresâ page. I feel famous now. Anyways love u Emma!â€ïž
May is a classic đđ
I always watch the Hell House LLC trilogy in October. I also watch Paranormal Activity series and watched Next of Kin. I loved the Guilty.
It's so interesting that you preferred White Lotus to Nine Perfect strangers. I enjoyed both, but had trouble connecting to anyone in WL.
You should watch Lingering and The closet. Both are Korean films. The closet actually made me jump, but I also think closets are just creepy.
If you like Squid Game, you should check Sweet home and Alice in Borderland
Sweet home is on Netflix or not? Have not seen Squid but Alice in Borderland amazing! đ
Hi Emma! Have you seen "The Deep House"? (Not to be confused with the Rebecca Hall film, "The Quiet House"). It's about a haunted house - underwater! Very creepy and claustrophobic. In the non-horror category, "Say Your Prayers" from 2020 is a hilarious comedy about two Christian hitmen who try to take out a famous Atheist author. Highly recommended. Thanks for another great list! :)
Iâve seen deep house :) I did a patreon video on it. Say Your Prayers sounds interesting
My favorites were midnight mass and dave made a maze and dragula
Finally got time to watch this! I will be watching these now except for anything that includes Taryn Manning oof, no thanks
My favourites in October were probably Malignant, Saint Maud and Raw. I was also disappointed with The mediumâŠ
Great review idle hands saw it on vhs I was 16 in 2000 got from my library fun movie Halloweentown fun movie saw it at my aunt's house I was 14 in 1998 on Disney channel at the time love noseftru great movie toođ
â...thatâs me trying to explain my existence.â
yo chill emma, why are you attacking me all of a sudden lol
LOVE HARRISON FORD. so Never apologise for that haha
people complain about the made for tv stephen king films, but i always enjoyed the way they're shot... it's part of the charm
If you like crime / havenât already seen it The Mare of Easttown is amazing.
Yes I have seen it! Great performance
I really enjoyed Murder Party, and yeah Jeremy Saulnier did a great job with very little funding, and then he made on of my favorite modern horror movies.
I thought The Trip was bloody hilarious and it's one of my favorite horror movies of the year.
Glad you somewhat liked The Witches. I hold no nostalgic feelings for the older movie, so it's easy for me to set them apart. Although I WISH they did something more with the High Grand Witch's appearance (because there's nothing that sets her apart from the others to have her be 'grander' or 'higher'). Should've put her in prosthetics or hire a horrifying looking Doug Jones or Javier Botet to stand in with Anne's voice on top.
Always look forward to these! I watched a horror/Western film on Netflix called The Wind (2018, directed by Emma Tammi). I would love to hear your thoughts on it!
I really liked that movie! I remember Emma mentioning it (maybe in a monthly wrap-up) a few months ago (give it take).
@@markaitkenguitar Awesome! Ya know, as I'm thinking about it... I wouldn't be surprised if I added it to my watchlist after seeing Emma mention it, haha.
Ha! Yeah totally. I think it would be awesome for Emma to do a ratings video of films like The Wind. Like, ominous, forest-y, folky, foreboding fare. (You know, Iâll bet she already has!)
great movie
Sheâs talked about that one before I just donât remember what video
Have you also watched the original Vanilla Sky (Abre los ojos) movie? I'm curious about your opinion and how would you compare them
Yes I have! Itâs been 10 or so years though, but was always so impressed Penelope was in both! Itâs hard for me not to think of the remake and Iâve seen it so many times
Ahhh Six Feet Under ending - I get goosebumps just thinking about it! I don't think any TV series tops this ending!
Thoughts on Halloween Kills?!
Havenât seen Halloween kills yet! It only came out here 2 weeks ago and Iâve been sick for a week
I really enjoyed Spontaneous! The ending though. đ
I have 3 episodes to go of Squid Game! but I'm determined to watch Tucker and Dale first, since I missed it on Halloween. đČđȘ
Please do a review of The Trip... pretty please.
I believe storm of the century was made for TV as a mini series much like the original IT and Rose Red. Its one of my favorite Stephen king adaptations
Yes it was ;)
@@spookyastronauts im with you on a remake, its an under rated stephen king adaptation and id love to see it get the IT treatment
Since youâre into stalker movies, just curious if youâve seen Following by Christopher Nolan?
Iâm not sure! Iâll have to look it up! Thank you for the tip
Watch Chapelwaite, Midnight Mass if you haven't already.
I think you would like to watch "only murders in the building". It is on Hulu and it is soooo good
I mentioned it in this video ;)
@@spookyastronauts yeah I saw it lol đ great video as always đ„°
Emma what's your definition of 'cheesy'. Personally Storm of the Century is not something I consider to be cheesy. So what's your definition?
Something that is a bit fluffy and over dramatic.
I did not like The Swarm. But Iâm glad you did!
Sorry to say I've never watched Nightmare Before Christmas - to make it worse my aunt and uncle were two of the animators on the film.
I'm a horrible nephew.
I watched FearDotCom ages ago and I might be remembering something wrong here, but - SPOILERS:
I just can't wrap my head around why the vengeful ghost goes after people visiting the website - because people watched her being murdered, if memory serves me right - instead of just killing the guy that killed her? Doesn't he visit the website he streams to himself? Wouldn't he have died day 1 or something...?
i did watch the invisible guardian and the two following ones and did not like them that much. i started with the second one unknowingly and it's the one i liked the best out of the bunch. wouldn't recommend it to anyone, but it got me interested in the books, so i might do that some time.
First To Comment & Say đ To Emma đ
Hello!
