I LOVED Sleepers! I recommend it to anyone who likes seeking revenge. The courtroom part wasn't very long so I wouldn't call it a courtroom drama. You will definitely see Kevin Bacon play a brutal boy's prison guard. I have the dvd and watch it from time to time. Robert DeNiro plays a great role.

I actually loved the ending of Ozark! I felt like everything came full circle. The entire series is about their family attempting, not only to survive, but to remain a family. And in the end, against all odds, thatâs what they did. I felt like that final scene solidified that.
I felt like their kids had already proved they were going to be like then, with the son already doing his own laundering and the daughter was always lying for them. So that weird scene ending to prove that kind of felt unnecessary for me
As a massive time travel nerd I was so thrilled that month that two amazing Australian time travel films came out in the cinema, The Infinite Man and Predestination. Iâm very particular about the logic of time travel and avoiding plot holes where possible and not cheating the storytelling. Itâs super hard to do and not many pull it off but I think both of these do. Predestination is interesting in that thereâs clearly one HUGE paradox at the centre of the whole film but thatâs kind of what it is about so I canât begrudge it that.
Re: Ozark final scene, itâs so MEAN but also itâs entirely explained in the tag line of the poster you displayed in your video đ

I loved Sleepers but I haven't seen it in years. I like vigilante flicks and when horrible things happen to people and they get revenge lol it suits my evil side. I may check out some of the mentions on your list I haven't seen. In regards to Ozark, I never got into it, I tried but it just was too predictable in my opinion just like I look back at Breaking Bad now and wonder why I was so into it other than the "hype". I don't know if you've ever seen my favorite tv show of all time Six Feet Under,(creator Alan Ball who also wrote American Beauty and True Blood) but I think it is available on HBO Max and it has 5 seasons and based on your taste if you've never seen it I think you will love it. Plus it is ten times better than any newer series I've seen and very

If you're looking for a great little indie gem, check out "Don't Come Back From the Moon." It's a drama featuring a terrific performance from Rashida Jones. "Predestination" is a film I've recommended to many people. I'm really glad you saw it, Emma. A nice surprise (and Sarah Snook!). Re: "Ozark" - I had a different ending in mind, but they definitely took a risk with the one we saw. But in a way, it fit in with the unpredictability of the series.
Sadly The Black Phone for whatever reason will not be showing in theatres here in South Africađ

Hi, Emma! I would love to know if you've already watched the last ep of love death + robots s3. I totally agree with you in that it is quite action packed and with more fast paced stories. It's actually why the last ep, JĂbaro, is my favorite. I was so hypnotized by it! I made myself watch the season in order because otherwise I end up leaving those stories that don't sound as interesting as others for last. So this one being the finale (? was Such a nice surprise.

i dont know if you like romantic movies however theres a good time travel film called 'about time' it stars rachel mcadams, domhnall gleeson, margot robbie and bill nighy. its actually an amazing time travel movie and handles time travel in the best way possible. just some movie recommendations. please watch this movie is honestly amazing and the best film.

I wonder if you've ever sat down to watch nothing but werewolf horrors, or films with sharks, or witches, or spider/bug movies, or vampires, or Xmas horrors, just for the fun of it? (I did this with a friend and we watched over a long weekend 20 fish people movies, such as Cold Skin, Dagon, Creature from the Black Lagoon, etc.,. We settled on that theme after writing twelve movie themes on cards and placing them on the floor in a circle and spinning a bottle at the centre. Whatever card the bottle's mouth pointed to when it stopped was the theme of movies that we watched.)

This month I watched The occupant and Sleep tight, that you recommended. Wow, what great films! I loved The occupant, it was a lot of tension and a great story. Very good ending as well. Sleep tight made me so uncomfortable. It was truly scary, and the ending ... đ±Nightmare fuel. Thanks, Emma, for the tips on Spanish thrillers and horror that I would have missed otherwise.

I'm so excited for July 1st when the last 2 episodes of Stranger Things season 4 drops. I hated seasons 1&2. Really liked season 3. But man oh man did season 4 blow my mind. So good. I'm glad I pushed through the other seasons. Season 4 felt like a giant reward for all of my hard work trudging through the other seasons. đ

I havenât watched all your vids, so you may have mentioned it elsewhere, but Iâve been really enjoying the series Monsters. It incorporates elements of human-adjacent beings, but focuses more on the âmonstrousâ parts of humans/ human nature. Each episode is set in a different city and seems to be an independent story. Very interesting?
Sleepers is an interesting movie but as an attorney, I can safely say that the trial and the procedures in it would never take place that way. Especially the treatment of the guard as a hostile witness so that he would say terrible things about the victim. Thereâs no reason to attack the character of the victim in court just to hope that the testimony is stricken from the juryâs consideration. Making the victim look good or bad just sets up the defendants.
you should watch 'paradise lost' its actually really good. its about a bunch of tourists go to a tropical contryand there's people watching them from a far

I saw a trailer to it this year and looked amazing:, perhaps a thriller vibe, could even be a UK thriller but a new release set for this year. The synoptics based on what i saw in the trailer. A wealthy man hires a house keeper to live in work arrangement. Beautiful state of the art house. She experiences strange vibes from the house , but as the trailer progresses it looks like she discover the wealthy man is hiding someone that looks like her locked up in his house. For the life of me i cant find the title

Sleepers is depressing true story thatâs very tragic,then gratifying at the same time! Itâs a sensitive film ,but still a very good movie we all should see!
Predestination was one i constantly heard people say at the time that âthey had no idea what was going on!â While that didnât effect me and I followed along quit easily,
I also thought it was a pretty rad take on time travel that still had an original element to its story!

Just saw Jurassic World D at the Drive In with Minions ,and I liked them both in that particular setting!

Right! I *almost* gave up on season three of Stranger Things after episode five and was *so* glad I gave it another chance. The final few episodes of season three were awesome. Season four is my favorite thus far. Itâs like a while other show, in the best way possible! A lot more depth and a lot darker and creepier. And Iâm so here for it! Season three was a lot of fun with all the Starcourt mall stuff. Season two felt repetitive and dull IMO.

I disliked Stranger Things season 3 sooo much that I find it really hard to get into season 4. I've watched 2 episodes so far and they were really good. I really like how they amped up the horror. But I don't have that feeling of must-watch-can't-do-anything-else that I had with the first two seasons. And sooo sad that Ozark is done. What an amazing story that was!

I'm not into the Disney marvel movies. But I bet you like the first two Blade movies from 98 and 2002. I heard a lot of people complained that the horror was too much for them. They must not watch horror movies.

I actually like most Marvel movies and love a handful of them. The Multiverse of Madness was just really, really bad. It makes me sad because I love Wanda and Dr. Strange as characters. I wouldn't say it's too much horror really, it's just disappointing :/

Ik u don't really like marvel but you should try deadpool he's played by Ryan reynolds and he's a merk with the mouth breaks the forth wall but it does have some gore not to much just him shooting people, stabbing people with his swords, cutting heads off and making lots and lots of jokes its hilarious but I forgot to mention that dp (deadpool) has regenerate abilitys were he literally can't die

I can't watch the superhero movies either from Marvel/Disney or DC. They are popcorn movies and I got frustrated with them anyway. Glad u have the same view as me. But Series like Stranger things are in the same category as the above movies as well. I didn't watch past season 1. They are time consuming and not fulfilling for me.

Predestination was so disappointing. That movie tries so hard to be clever and it just comes off as pretentious. The twist is so easy to spot. The Endless does time loops so much better and actually does something new and different with the idea.

Doctor Strange was okay but could have went much darker given Wandaâs motivation. Jurassic World was disappointing. Too many plot lines going on and not enough dinosaurs.
