- Porsche has already subjected its third-generation Cayenne SUV to a facelift and technical update, giving us the V8-powered S and plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) E-Hybrid models already. But now, the German company is adding more variants - and they're all PHEVs. The high-power Turbo E-Hybrid and Turbo E-Hybrid with GT Package cars replace the old Turbo S E-Hybrid, and there's an all-new derivative, the Cayenne S E-Hybrid tested here. Does it make sense as the best balance between economy and performance?

Hey,I am looking to order mine. Do you recommend 21 inch wheels or 22 and is there a big difference. My wife and I are going to have a child soon so I would be looking for more comfort. Also if you can advise do you recommend 14 way seats or 18 way seats since I am looking for more comfortable seats? I am currently driving GLE coupé and on long drives I am not that happy with the seats. Thanks for response!!
Hi there. There's not really any appreciable difference between 21s and 22s, thanks to Porsche's new two-valve dampers - all Cayenne E-Hybrids ride brilliantly, especially in their softer drive settings. As to the seats, they're expensive but the 18-way items are the best, as they offer more thigh support and greater adjustability.
@@CompletecarIe thanks a lot for fast response. My biggest thinking was about the seats since i want to feel comfortable if I am driving 10 hours.
Is this the Caulk color?
It's called Crayon
I just ordered mine its coming in January😅
Congrats!
I just got a call, mine is being built January 18 and will get it March 1. What colours and extras did you go? i have to have mine finalised in 3 weeks.
I have an allocation for the regular E hybrid model in June.. I'm going cancel that and get the S E hybrid model. It too heavy of a vehicle for only 300 horses on the standard model for me.
its 470 vs 519 so not that much difference really. @@rong8889
@@scottydonald i have chosen the carbon package and for the rest krijt color and fully specked with all option available
I ordered mine but i just woke up im just dreaming
Damn!
This whole video seems to be telling everything I can read myself off the Porsche website. As you are in the car perhaps you could tell us what it’s like which is the thing I can’t read. I was waiting for the opinions etc but literally nothing?
Perhaps skip to 06:15 ?
Too many screens. Analog gauges are more premium. I don’t understand this trend?!
This has been the trend for some time now. Allows for updates more easily.
@@CompletecarIe it ages the car. Screen quality / resolution will be outdated in a couple years. Analog gauges costs car manufacturers more, this is their way to cut corners.
I agree, the analog gauges look much better. I also don't like that they cut off the hood over gauge cluster. It looks weird. Having the shifter on the dash reminds me of a minivan. Having regenerative braking all the time is a good thing, not having that here is a bit of a let down. I also heard the brake feel isn't very good. The main competitor is probably the 2024 BMW X5 50e PHEV.
He's a yummy, Daddy type!
Behave! 😂
Yes Daddy :)
Gear shift is gone ??
