The funniest thing is, I have this on my 2020 breakout and I found this out myself as well, that small tap is all that it takes to get it to shift again. Such a dumb thing but hey, it works!

It’s just a Harley thing lol! Maybe the pawl and ratchet shift mechanism is just flawed or needs a little re-engineering lol!!
