I think its totally fine to have your own taste of boys/girls. But whats not totally fine, is leaving a date like those first few guys and making up a lie instead of just being honest and kind enough to tell whats the matter. as a taller girl I can relate to this. I’m in highschool right now and taller then almost all do the guys. almost all of the guys have made fun of me for my height. I personally like shorter guys too. one of the other things is when other girls make fun of me and talk about how short and cute they are. Im not super skinny either so some days it’s just hard. hopefully some of society will be willing to change there outlook on taller females.

You can prefer a certain type and be polite about it.
If, in this scenario, she didn’t post about her height on her profile (she’s atypically tall for a woman), the guys could have just said “hey, you’re too tall for me and you might want to add it to your profile because a substantial number of men may feel the same way.” … That’s a polite thing to do.

I’m 5’9” and my girlfriend and future wife is 5’11”… it’s literally never an issue. It’s a bit of an old fashioned idea that a woman must be shorter.
That idea went away with the creation of pant suits for women

I'm only 5'5" and this has been explained to me many times, often coldly and sometimes with great cruelty. I even had a tall blind date turn and run at the sight of me. I hope your dating experiences aren't nearly as bad as mine were. It's a plain biological fact that the overwhelming majority of women are naturally attracted to men who are taller than they are. Back in the day I dated a girl who was 6’8. Myself 5’8. At that point in time I had never dated anyone taller than me… let alone a foot taller. Lol. But it happened. At first the height difference made her a little uncomfortable. Myself, I had no problem with it. But eventually we figured out things and made adjustments to make both party’s more comfortable with the height difference. But what truly mattered is that we truly loved each other. And in the end height didn’t matter. She loved me and I her. If a person you like or maybe even dating that just so happens to be taller than you and for the life of them they can’t get over your shorter stature. Then they’re not for you. It’s not about height, race, skin color etc. Its about how you see them. It’s about wanting to be near them. Wanting to spend the rest of your life with them. It’s about seeing there soul and gladly wanting to share yours with them. Ain’t no Mountain high enough. Ain’t no valley low enough. Ain’t no river wide enough to keep me from getting to you ;)

@@anthonyt425 In the end we just wanted different things in a different time frame. She wanted a family, which I wanted as well, just at a later moment in time. She was… 22 I think… myself 25 I believe. She was European too and having a big family and having kids early was something she desperately wanted. But I myself was never academic but very entrepreneurial. And at that time I was just beginning my entrepreneurial ways. And I recommended that we not have a family until I was a bit more secure. I mean we deafly could’ve afforded one, but myself, I just felt like I needed a bit more to be secure especially with the economy at that point in time. So yeah. Thankfully we’re still good friends. Both very successful. And still single. So there still could be a chance. Lol.

I don't think ive ever dated a woman who was shorter than me, because i am short. Luckily the woman who see past height in my opinion seem to be more genuine. of course i would never knock anyone for having a preference, but if you dont judge a person on it than that makes you a solid human!

It's definitely a struggle to date as a short man (I'm 5'8) but persistence and hypersocial skills are a must - you MUST make up for that constraint by staying in excellent physical shape and having an actual personality as well as being a person that others like to be around. I'm an Officer in the US Army and I've always dated women that are either my height or taller simply because that's my preference - never felt intimated or anything like that. I never really understood why you would feel intimidated by what is objectively the epitome of female attractiveness. No preference in race or culture but there is something special about a 6'0+ woman wearing heels that just does funny things to my psyche.

If your actually 5'8" barefoot and not lying then it's not an issue dating being that all. It's not ideal but you can get a lot of dates at that height.

Tall Girls dating options are sometimes limited, so if the guy actually likes you and you happen to be a bit taller than he is, don't quote him out, cause he might be your last bet. As a short guy, 5'4" I would be completely unphased when she stood up. It would just been a pleasant surprise if anything. So many people are taller than me, so I am used to it. I have also dated a girl who is 6'4" for a number of years, so I have always been a fan. I was never like I can't handle this at any point of the experience.
I find it crazy guys just shortcircuit and turn tail the way they do in this video. The silly excuses and the way they just bolt is so cowardly. I feel sorry for any woman who ever had a man react this way. You're going on a date, not being asked to go off to war. The hard part has already happened , as she said yes to coming out. Why not see it through? Aren't you remotely curious? I went on a date with a girl that didn't work out, but I still finished the date giving it my best effort. I paid for dinner and everything I normally would. I'd rather play it out than missed out on something because I lacked the convictions to see it through.

Thank you for sharing this video. I would like to confess that I would 100% date a woman taller than me. I have been on dating sites in the past and have specifically desired a woman taller than me (I am 5'8'' now but, wasn't always. I grew an extra couple of inches due to Yoga). My reasons are simply that I like Tall Women. However though I have had no luck in finding my ideal Tall Woman and have decided to just give it up & stay single and at my age (I am 46 in August at this time of typing this - plus I can't find any closer to my age) and especially when the pandemic came in it has made dating very difficult. About the woman in the video I feel so sorry for her; she is very attractive plus it seems that she has a good personality. Those guys who rejected her for being taller than her are total jerks.
