I think it really depends on the culture and the country. What might be considered tall in one country can be considered as very average in another one. I’m from Spain, and im 184cm, in my country i am kinda tall but when i moved to netherlands to study for few years i was pretty average, there were many guys taller than me. And I suppose if i go to an Asian country i would be considered a giant.

It's all wonderful that every guy got picked but to be honest,being a guy far below everage height, 5'5 (165cm) that is , it takes a toll on your mental health, you literally feel tiny, insignificant, I remember being made fun of in school, a nurse ,in june this year, made fun of my height saying: "Yeah,you don't have a good height", when I was taking an x-ray. I really want to feel desirable, but, you have to play the cards you've been given, no matter how difficult it is.
I think girls prefer guys 170cm and taller because shorter than that guys tend to be mean. They’re very self aware of their short height and can be aggressive with girls who reject them. girls don’t want to get involved in that.
Just be confident with whatever you have.
Short guys end up with girlfriends and married too, it all depends on how great your personality is in the end. Tall guys have an advantage, but even if you’re 165cm you’re still taller than many girls so you have your chances. Just never show insecurity and don’t talk about your height to a girl you want to attract. If she sense insecurity from you she’s gonna pull away. Try to behave as if you were 100% satisfied with your height and girls will feel comfortable around you and attracted.
The world average lies at 170cm so not far below. I'm 172 in Northwest Germany bordering the tallest people on average Netherlands. 165 cm is totally ok. There are many women below 160 cm. So be happy about urself
I think the show is totally rigged, I mean they're all nice and all, but probably it's in the script that each of those guys would have picked by at least one girl. They didn't let out a guy with nobody pick, it'd be so awkward for him.

As a 190 guy i gotta say even if small girls seem to like tall dudes, i personally wouldn't think of someone as a potential partner under 170cm cause it's way too unconvenient.

Les actualizo: un año después de este comentario me enamoré de una chica que es como 10-15 CM más alta que yo, estaba desanimado por pensar que tendría problemas por eso pero no, al contrario, me ha apoyado y a día de hoy ya llevamos un año de relación :^)

Nunca había prestado atención a eso, pero llegó un momento en el que parecía que todos se ponían de acuerdo y señalaban mi estatura. Además de los comentarios de chicas que mayormente prefieren a hombres más altos que ellas. Todo ello empezó a dar muchas vueltas en mi mente y me empecé a frustrar porque era algo que no podía cambiar y bueno, así empecé a odiar mi imagen, cada que me miraba al espejo fuaaa me sentía horrible y así caí. Actualmente ya es cada vez menos pero aún tengo temor de presentarme ante la gente y que solo vean mi estatura :'c

as a female that is only 14 and 174 cm (5'8) already, it is usually hard for us tall people (and extra short ones) to get chosen as a dating choice so this made me very happy for all the other tall people out there (as i'm already in a relationship, going on 3 and a half years with my SO who is not only older than, me but 30 cm (a foot) shorter at 143 cm (4'8)
