One of the most impactful moments in any role play audio I’ve ever experienced was 14:46 to 16:35 I haven’t been this shaken since the first Hux audio when I realized freelancer was assaulted. 15:46 I just sobbed. “You are not broken or gross” What I wouldn’t give for that amount of care.
After all this Sam and Darlin’ need a vacation just the two of them
I haven’t seen any comments pointing it out but I really like Quinn’s symbol faded in over Sam and Darlin’s. It shows that the abuse both of them have gone through left it’s mark. Even if Darlin’ and Sam get closure with Quinn, that alone isn’t going to be enough to magically make them ok. It’s going to be a long road to recovery but they’ll get to walk it together.

Erik....you have made an incredible villian that is Quinn. Manipulative, cruel, disgusting, sly, monstrous, spiteful and so on and so forth. Quinn not only made sam sit through all of darlings past but i bet he went down it in so vivid detail and with the most sensitive parts. Not only that, knew darlin was there to hear every. Single. Word of it and with a smile i bet. Last part is that once he said "ok here is the address" knew that girl was dead but still had sam, darlin and david sit through all of that. Quinn in this part and last part took "Welp if im going down, im not going down without a bang" and instead of a bang it was more like KA-BOOM. Hats completely off to you erik for making Quinn

all jokes aside, i love that justice is finally being served, especially for Darlin, but this video makes my skin scrawl for one reason-Quinn isn’t dead. I know he’ll probably be locked up for, well, ever, but Quinn has proven himself to be quite and painfully intelligent, and i’m sure he has ties everywhere. I have a feeling we’ll end up seeing him again.

Has anyone noticed how Sam and Darlin' are the most well backed up couple in the Redactedverse? Nobody will ever unconvince me that William didn't basically adopt Darlin' (and Lovely) as soon as they got together with his boys, and let's be fair here, since the Inversion that David would back Sam up in ANYTHING. You mess with one of them, you're buying a war you SURELY cannot expect to survive, let along win!
That said though... I'm afraid this will not be the end of Quinn... I don't know, it's either intuition or my current desire to see him slowly chopped into bits before he gets boiled alive... I'm scared, basically.

I'm sorry, but can we also appreciate David reassuring Sam that whatever he did was not nothing. Because I've felt the frustration and anger of Sam after hearing that news. 😭 And David handled that like a f pro of an Alpha that he is. Even though i know he was also hurting/frustrated.

This just broke me, the helplessness, anger, shame and grief that Darlin is feeling is something that really hurt me, but I was touched that Sam and David were there to support them and provide comfort.
I can't wait for Darlin and Quinn to meet again, something that should have happened from the beginning as they said in the video, but at the same time I'm afraid, since, imagining what Quinn is like, he's going to want to do one last act to harm Darlin, something like dragging them with him or something like that
So the whole "being bloodbound" thing hasn't come up in a while and now I'm terrified Quinn's death will result in Darlin's death as well

This is exactly what I wanted to see. I knew this must have hurt Darlin hard, to the point they may even be doubting if they can stay with Sam. Because that's what Quinn wanted to do- drive them apart, make them doubt, ruin each other. But by god they *love* each other. Quinn's dirty tricks can't pull them apart. And the force of a whole ass vampire clan, a wolf pack, and the Department will ensure he gets the pubishment he deserves. And god*damn* David and Will absoLUTEly going to bat for Darlin, showing up and standing up for them at their lowest point, king shit, literally.
Finding out that the girl was just... a random girl... and already gone at that... Probably should have expected that, but fuck, it hit harder than I thought. We all suspected it was some kind of trap, that he had cronies or backup or it was a diversion, but no. Just another tragedy left behind... man
I love the amount of support Darlin' has on all sides. You know FOR A FACT that David and William are ABSOLUTELY going to do EVERYTHING they can to help them get the justice they deserve. And yeah... I knew something was wrong, but damn that reveal about the girl just... shattered my heart.
Shit, I thought the most I could ever channel Darlin's pain was during that video where Sam tells them about Alexis and asks whether Darlin' is alright, not will they be but are they. But this one hurt. The rage, the hatred, the tears and the overall feeling of helplessness. Both David and Sam being there the best they can and their protectiveness.

God, I needed that comfort. Everything that Darlin’ felt, I felt too. The humiliation & embarrassment Quinn just had to bring to them; some more negativity (hopefully) one last time. It kinda makes me want to laugh, bc Quinn really thought that after everything he’s done that what he said would affect Sam & David’s love and relationships with Darlin’. As well as him thinking that either of the bois would allow what Quinn said to mess w/Darlin’ & drive a wedge between them. NAH. I absolutely adore the way you show/write a character’s feelings and the aftermath of those feelings; the comfort, I guess is what I’m trying to say. Beautiful work, Erik!

Okay, but 1:02 hits different. Like, it’s one thing for David to support Tank in serving Justice to their ex, and that he expressed care for Tank when they were going scorched earth in their vengeance against Quinn. However, despite his reaction to the inversion, I know he’s still not much of a hugger to people (besides Angel). That further shows just how much Tank means to him.
Also, I’m so happy with the way Sam addressed everything that Quinn spat at him. The way he addressed Darlin’s reactions were heartwarming too (I’m not crying, you are)!
Phenomenal job as always, Redacted! I’m excited to find out if Darlin’ is able to get that catharsis (and how they’d dish it if they do).

I just...as a person who was in an abusive relationship at one point and said abuser tried to wreck some relationships for me, this audio hit a lot harder than I thought it would. Especially since I didn't have Sam to comfort me after 😂 Thank you and amazing work Erik❤

The way that you can pull thousands of people to hate a villain just off of your voice and other VA’s is amazing. Genuinely we all shed a tear because this was so well written and just shows how well villains can be even without visuals. My head-canon is that while Sam was with Quinn talk about that that Darlin wants to attack this man and David had to keep calming her down and holding her back
Two things... #1, am absolutely projecting onto Darlin' right now. My brain is mean and I imagined that during the hours of interrogation, Quinn said all that awful shit AND more about me to Sam's face: talking about my body (why Darlin' was insecure at first); misgendering me at a couple points; talking about my fears, my wishes, my secrets, my wants and desires; everything to mock me in front of Sam. I can feel the humiliation and embarrassment. And Sam's, as well as David's, absolute fury...
#2, what I'm most afraid of is that if David and William are able to pull strings, and Darlin' DOES get to be alone with Quinn in that room... Well, I'm scared he'll just trance them and make them help him escape; and then turn/drain them. I REALLY hope it doesn't come to that and there is some kind of ward up in that interrogation room, but... god, I'm scared.

My version of darlin is like a really traditionally feminine face and body with like full glam makeup everyday lashes lipstick EVERYTHING, leather jackets red dresses black tights or fishnets so when I listened to this vid all I could imagine is when Sam came out of the room and saw David and darlin there was mascara running down her face and like just puffy bloodshot eyes and red swollen cheeks all from crying
