  • As the rest of the team stayed home, Earl found himself also "back home," in a manner of speaking. GAC invited us to go to its headquarters in Guangzhou where its technology, brand centers, and even its manufacturing line. We were even lucky enough to drive these cars through a slalom course. We got to test GAC's future models for the Philippines, the GAC Empow R, AION Hyper GT, and the M8. How far into the future are we talking about with these new names? The M8 is launching early next year. Find out what the brand is up to on this episode of Behind a Desk.

Same sentiments. Out of all the Chinese cars, GAC is a cut above the rest. Iba yung quality ng cars nila when compared to other Chinese brands.

Bro, Chinese items are Flooding Divisoria, Shopee and Lazada. Car parts are sure to follow suit with ease. Auto shop (NON CASA) are still hectic as of now coz most Chinese cars are still under 5~10 years warranty hence they (car owners) most likely to source replacement exclusive to casa to avoid voiding their warranties.

Parts inventory are always available or in stock. The only problem here is the dealers do not stock slow or mid moving items as money put in the shelves do not grow. Fortunately or unfortunately if your car breakdown and require one of these items then good luck to you. Even renowned Japanese, Koreans, German cars also face this problem here.

GAC's credibility needs to be traced back to its heritage. As a state-owned company, it became Honda's Joint Venture Partner in 1997 and in 1999 it started producing Honda models in China. As somebody has pointed out, its partnership with Toyota started in 2004. It runs dealership under GAC Honda and GAC Toyota. In 2023, GAC automobile production exceeded 2.5 million vehicles including 640,000 Hondas and 901,000 Toyotas.

That is also for Japanese and Korean cars when they first invented their cars. The Japanese copied the American and from through the years they improved on it. Why reinvent the wheel
