I've watched many of these videos now and i think this business model is genius. No workshop overheads, no receptionist doing her nails salary and or guys standing about.
Thanks for doing my DS3 Kevin great job!Highly recommended and would 100% use again and strongly advise others to use Kevin for his great service-No hassle and great job done at a very good price!!👍🏻👍🏻 thanks again Kev
You are a real Clutch Ninja :). But please just be careful. I bet your body feels quite sore in the evenings after you finish your work. Take care and good job.
Hi kev m8, see you got the jacket on, getting colder now in it, that looks like a Barbour, good man, those crows in that area sound like vultures dont they kev, I seen you look up checking the sky 🙃, great work kev, keep it coming 💪👍👍👍
Kevin wow what a legend I can’t bloody stop watching these uploads now I’ve started. You are one of life’s real grafters mate I really hope many great things come your way 👍🏻 keep up the amazing work dude 🍻
Honestly, such great work. I always wonder if you have to do any sort of research about the car you are going to work on beforehand. Your work is very impressive and very inspiring.
That’s it mate. I’m keeping up with the times. That’s the newest impact from Milwaukee. It has so much torque it’s unreal. And the ratchet is 3/8. But spins a lot slower than the 1/4 drive. I prefer the 1/4 one.
I played your video to my nephews and the reply was: “You don’t expect me to work that hard and why didn’t they get a new car” Yup it’s that next generation that’s going to change the world!😫
I still wait to see Mercedes clutch change. Yes, i know most of them are luxury with automatic transmission, but still...there are enough C-classes with manual transmission. 😁😁
do you ever plan it so sometimes you do 2 clutches in 1 day? 2 of the easier cars which dont take to long, that electric driver that packed up , i see you have another one, was it replaced under warranty
Yep 1/4 drive ratchet packed up. I just bought this one which is more powerful but slower it’s a 3/8 and thought I’d get the latest Milwaukee impact as well.
Funny how we always cart around a thousand tool pieces but only need 10. When you do only pick the 10 and an eleventh is required you kick your own ass for not having everything with you. In my case someone, somehow and somewhere almost alwys loose a standard sized bolt or nut and replace it with a bastsrd size...
That’s the only brand I use. And out of the three I’ll pick whichever manufacturer recommends for a particular vehicle. But for Far East cars always Exedy or Aisin.
Great video as always Kevin👌👍 Did you ever fit a clutch that was faulty? And have the customer ring up 3 weeks later saying there’s a funny noise in the car that wasn’t in it before the clutch replacement .. I’ve a Kia ceed with this problem at the moment it’s my first time in over 30 years for it to happen, What’s happening is when you accelerate 50-60 mph there a noise through the whole car and when you leave off the pedal obviously it stops 2012 Kia ceed 1.6 dsl I fitted a Sachs clutch thinking I’d never see it again but apparently the Korean cars prefer Valeo clutch’s I would be great full if you have any thoughts I’ve to take this gearbox out again 🤬 sump frame down again 🤬🤬 I won’t curse on your channel
Hi mate. No problem normally. I’m sure it’s not the brand of parts or your work. 1. Rumbling noise from 50-60mph. In my experienced opinion. Any noise ie: whirring usually will be the thrust bearing. However if the thrust bearing is faulty you’d hear it on revs rather than speed. Car at stand still revving up you’d hear it. It will increase and decrease with revs. 2. If the pressure plate is faulty. You’d get a judder pulling off only. Not at speed. As the clutch is operating without driver’s input once pedal is released. The clutch would be squeezed to the flywheel after release. 3. Clutch plate. The obvious sign will be clutch slip. So my input of the noise appearing under acceleration only at speed between 50-60mph. 1. Wheel balance/alignment Get the vehicle to have a wheel alignment. 2. Wheel bearing on its way out. Maybe jack up the car spin the wheel off the ground with hand on spring and see if there’s any slight vibration in the spring. Let us know
@@WMCS Thanks for the reply I’ll get the wheel alignment done Monday and all 4 wheels balanced just to rule that out, they’re very honest the owners of the car and told me the noise wasn’t in the car before the clutch was replaced I also had two tyres fitted to the front of the car and one of the front wheels was switched to the back because the tyre was good…. And then two new ones fitted to the front Sorry about any confusion I really appreciate your reply thank you 🙏
@@WMCS I’ll check tomorrow when I pick it up I’m a bit demented from it to be honest racking my brain on what could be causing the problem I’ll let you know how I get on with it
No commentary, no music, no bullsh*t. Just pure professionalism. Thank you, Kevin.
Yes i agree. CZcams background music sucks big time.

That’s it mate. And I probably make more in a day than any garages turning over 10 MOT’s.
Honestly: I don't watch every video from this channel, but every time I do I wish I'd watched more. So many amazing things every time.

So true. Halfway thorough the repair is start putting half the tools back and slowly get what I need. 😁🍻
Hi Kevin is that rachet 3/8, drive or 1/4 PLUS WOULD YOU OK IT
THANKS GREAT WORK
Have both. This one is the 3/8. To be honest I prefer the 1/4 drive.
What model of Milwaukee impact gun do you use.Great work in difficult conditions David
It’s a new one this. I’ll get the model.
It’s got a lot more torque than the other one I normally use.
Beautiful job, what hammer do you use?
Me thinks it’s a 30oz Mac tool.
Hi Kevin, my curiosity ... How many clutches can you do in a day? Greetings from Italy and congratulations.
Mobile only two a day.
In a workshop easily 3 a day.
Kevin, what is the best brand for clutch replacement ? Valeo ? Sachs ? Luk ?
That’s the only brand I use. And out of the three I’ll pick whichever manufacturer recommends for a particular vehicle.
But for Far East cars always Exedy or Aisin.
Mr. Quinn, please send me the Peugeot 206 disc and clutch plate replacement.
Thank
I would not have trusted those rubber hook things to hold a transfer case. Why do you not use a vacuum cleaner?
Ah yeh. Why didn’t I think of that.
