Fun fact "La strega Nocciola" probably takes its name by Witch Hazel, an old Disney character. In italy strega means witch and Nocciola means hazelnut

I wanted to try the lampredotto last summer while I was in Florence but I was inside Mercado Centrale and the line was so long that I bailed! Got porchetta, which was still delish! Guess I’ve got to go back, since I never got the steak either! Love your cute videos!

I have never tasted a pizza like the one from Gusta Pizza….. It literally exploded in my mouth. I had it one evening and had to go back next day for lunch. Thanks for the recommendation.

Tried to go to Pinos in March and the line was just to long and we were really looking forward to trying it after seeing all the videos on youtube.

Best gelato "Perche no" near the steak house - the Pistasio is the best Pistacio gelato of all Firenze gelatos. priced well

The steakhouse is the best in Florence and I have to say that they are well priced for the steak you get.

They kicked us off those steps last time in Rome but we are going back in May and staying a block away from there so will try the pizza and try not to get arrested on the steps :)

All'antico vinaio they sell sandwiches, you can go to the grocery store, buy bread and condiments and make your own at home for a fraction of the cost and without waiting.

Italian food is also normal, it's funny how Western food compares with Asia, like countries like China, Vietnam, Thailand, Italian cuisine has no age.

Stay away from Florence. This wonderful & historic town become the empire of the mass tourism (like Venice).
The soul of Florence was almost destroyed as most of the town is 'tourist-oriented" . Prices and bad services are therefore accordingly. Go somewhere
I've been in Italy for about a week. I tried various dishes in Rome, Florence and Venice. Honestly I found it very weak and limited. I'm disappointed. I also experienced that I do not find Italians very hospitable, even being rude to tourists and constantly asking for tips. I invite you to Turkey for beautiful foundations.
Maybe you’re the problem. I’ve found the complete opposite to be true when visiting Italy.
so I travel a lot, not as much as these youtubers because I have a real job, I consider myself a foodie AKA, like to eat a lot of different stuffs, I love europe and when I go there I eat like crazy, BUT many of the dishes I have tried are disappointing (to say the least), other of course good and some of them great... BUT, these fake youtubers find everything exquisite, fantastic, sublime.. etc.. ect. etc.. so basically they are lying around 50% of the time to get a Like from a bunch of clown who don't even have a passport.
As a married couple it must be difficult on your children with all the travel. As we learn in God's perfect word that children in a marriage are the reward from God. So if you can make the travel work with the kids all the better. I guess there is homeschooling options etc.
