Just left Caffe Santa Zita. And though the patio was closed for dining we were able to walk out there. We sat inside near the doors leading to the patio. Not crowded, so it felt like a private meal. The 40 euro brunch is big enough for 2, and they split everything in half without asking. Excellent food and service Thanks for the recommendation!!

My dad’s home town! I’m so proud that my family is from such a wonderful place. From 11 years old I’d fly over to Lucca & spend my six weeks summer holidays with my relatives. As a kinda local In Lucca, you need to try Trattoria Da Nonna Clara on Via Santa Croce. You can even watch the nonna make the fresh pasta in the front window that you eat!

Be careful from whom you purchase tickets online. My husband and I were sent by email vouchers "with old information and wrong" meeting point with our guide. The operator and guide later admitted this, but operator refused to place us in a group another day, said, unfortunately our vouchers expired. The operator is "My tour", or at least that's how they identified themselves.

I'm a TV/film actor and I can not tell you how many times I had a swab shoved up my nose (and one time I had to produce a major amount of spit into tube). I'm sure healthcare had it worse, but we were literally tested before arriving, then on set daily. Most were gentle, but some I swear were digging from brain matter, and I would end up with a headache.
