You may already know this, but orange wine isn’t made with oranges. It’s a white wine that spends time macerating with the skins of the grapes. Usually in white wine production, the juice is immediately separated from the skins. Obviously red wine spends time with the skins to extract color (most fine wine red grapes have clear juice and only become a red wine by spending time with the skins). You may be rolling your eyes at me now, and that’s okay! I just happen to be a wine nerd. My wife and I enjoy your videos! Looking forward to the next one!

Thank you guys so much for the support and for sharing that information, Kevin! 🤗 We understand the wine-making process but we didn't know that that's how orange wine is made - that's really interesting! 🍊🍷

I just finished the video (Florence trip research) and came to post this. I probably got too defensive because I love orange wine. But yeah, it's Rose but with white grapes. I've actually never had one that tastes like oranges so I'll be interested to try this particular one when in Florence.

My All’antico sandwich in August was gross, although it’s probably my fault, I ordered the Beatrice as I saw it had beef (carpaccio) didn’t realise that meant it was raw and sliced so think it tasted like slop , and the lathered on a bunch of truffle sauce

All'Antico Vinaio prices are doubled in their NYC location. Then again the entire NYC is a Tourist Trap as it has always been that way. I'd pay 8 Euros for that size of Panini all day long.

My wife and I have been to the Alla' antico Vinaio in NYC, Rome and Florence. All are consistently great and the staff working at each are wonderful. You cannot get a bad sandwich here. It's a must if you're in a city that has one of these.
Not sure about this couple. They seem a little too "cutesy". There are a ton of better and more informative podcasts about the 20 regions of Italy.

That’s awesome that you’ve been to 3 of the locations Kevin & we’re happy to hear you’ve had a great experience at all of them! It’s cool that there are a ton of great podcasts about the 20 regions of Italy - there is so much to learn & understand about the country, so they must be really interesting! 🇮🇹

15:00 You are a brave soul to be eating organ meats. It's something Americans really don't do. My wife is Filipino, and we've been married for 25 years. She openly tells me - she can't do stuff like that anymore.

I suppose 9 italian on 10 do not like this kind of food actually, but it is something traditional that you can eat maybe 4 or 5 times a year max
