Key word he uses is (maybe). Its very cumbersome and take way too much time. Xactimate pro X1 is the way to go and I'm very big on streamlining. And can be done with an iPhone by taking the pic and voice labeling and your finished with the photo portion of the file. Also get a Disto laser measurer and do your sketch and its done. After you learn these two thing you will be a very fast and accurate adjuster. AIken-Augusta- Area-Adjusters.

Very cool idea but X1 has a character limit for sure
I wish there was a workaround for adding a description to the photos on-site that would transfer over. The pdf photo report print out just does not look good when everything is in the label section and the description is left blank, at least the carriers do not like that. A solid report has labeled photos with a description below but I know it would be impossible to transfer photos into an Xact report and have that field populate.

i've tried to copy and paste the grouping tree and get an error msg.
If you're using the demo version of X1 you'll need to build your grouping tree manually.
I know of several adjusters who use this app and it has caused Xactimate to become corrected. Has this been resolved?

Dude you guys are so behind the times. Xactimate pro eliminates uploading photos all together. Labeling photos and notating photos on site when you take them, in their respective room, inside of Xactimate.

Do you do that with a phone or ipad. I don't like xactimate mobile on my phone but love it on my ipad. I really have never really used it for pictures though. Lidar measuring is here folks
Hi, agree but for some reason file size is huge and having issue with this when using it on my phone. Works fine on IPAD.
I create a folder tree in the photo section before I arrive. I include a folder for each slope. Using the Xactimate mobile app, I take the photo within the folder. Use voice to label. Done. Helpful hint, close all other apps before using Xactimate mobile, especially the lidar measurement.
@@keswick83 this is the way. except i don't do folders for slope, too much extra work. just chalk to roof and know your order

Are these file names short enough so as to allow for 2 images per page in the photo report?
Yes. MyAdjustiMate Labels' length are not to exceed the maximum label length characters allowed by Xactimate
