    When you are sketching your fourth wall you can click a spot on the ground and drag it all the way over to connect it to your existing walls.

    What exactly is needed to do this? I’m new to using xactimate and this seems so much more efficient than sketching by hand and translating to laptop

    Can you do a video on using the LIDAR on a peaked and sloped ceiling? I had one the other day and I couldn't get it to take the measurements

    Hey Durl, could you do a video where you take and label photos with the speaker button in each photo. Appreciate it.

    This is a great video, thank you! How long would it take you to do this many rooms if you weren't narrating, and just "gettin' the job done"? Thanks!

    Awsome video! Did you teach yourself by trial and error or is there some training available online? Thank you!

  • @oregonhomeinspections3692

    Thanks for the video. I’m just getting started and trying to figure out what kind of devices I will need. Do you use a laptop? In addition to your iPad? Or is this a complete solution? Thank you.

    Hey thanks for the video. I literally started using Lidar today and I have the same iPad. It's fairly easy to use. Are you an insurance adjuster?

      I'm literally brand new at this hired on as an Outside Adjuster for an insurance company. They don't teach how to use x8 mobile but I invested in the iPad Pro 12.9 and just got it set up. Haven't even used it on a live claim yet. But I already feel it's a game changer. This is my last week riding with a mentor then I'm on my own. First ride along a guy was using an engineering pad to sketch then go back to the office and then use X8. The next ride along with another mentor used their desktop x8 and walked back and forth using their laser to measure each wall and manually sketching.
      Then I watched a CZcams video of a guy using the laser and the X8 mobile but he'd sketch then use laser to auto adjust the measurements.
      Now watching your video... 😮

    This is the best interior software around bar none. Is there one like this that doesn’t cost 250 a month?

    Question I'm a new adjuster and will be investing in the iPad pro to be able to do this. Question can you do a roof with this?

      You can do the exterior of the house.....but it won't do a roof but you always can get a.roof.report

    If you're measuring a 20 unit condo complex, do you actually think this is faster than old school laser measuring and taking pencil sketches. Asking as an 18 year flood adjuster.

    • @darrelldouglas9589
      @darrelldouglas9589  Před rokem

      Yes definitely faster…..gonna be slower at first but after you get through the learning curve you will speed up. Usually your condos are the same just mirrored. I have a good friend that just got his RCBAP and he wants me to train him to speed up his learning curve…..time is money!!!

      Man some carriers do not allow pod sketching. Looks like these are close enough to get away with it but I'm just not sure.
