I love the tech and have the app. You always seem to capture the simplest of spaces. Ive tried to capture two furnished 'regular' properties in the residential home sales market and the app spectacularly fails to get it remotely correct. Is anyone out there actually using this to create floors plans in the real world??

Heavily furnished homes are a little rough but using this feature in most of the rooms and a laser in the tougher areas works perfect for me. Think of it as a great feature rather than a replace all.

I think you make all possible mistakes and program still made a good job. It great that you include them in your video. Your beta more finished that most released program versions.
I see one video where in other 3d lidar program man uses gimbal and receive significant increase in accuracy even in big areas. It be interesting if you test accuracy of your program with gimbal, because as i know LIDAR didn't have any anti-shake technology build in smartphone. Maybe gimbal can replace laser measure tool in your case.
When will it be possible to set wall thickness in your application?

I really like the auto captures but it wont work when the jobsite is already demo down to the studs. I would really love an integration between magic plan and Buildertrend takeoff.

How well is Xactimate working for you in Parallels? Also does your Macbook have an Intel or M series processor?
Hi Cody, we did not run it in Parallels so we can’t provide feedback there, unfortunately. - The MacBook used for this video has an Intel processor. Hope that helps🙂

I hand measure all my sketches, and think this is interesting technology.
Have you put together any focus groups from your different markets. Having lived in both Europe and the United States, I feel the needs differ as do the technical skills available to the contractor. Most of the contractors I work with in the Midwest United States would be overwhelmed by this presentation.

How is Xactimate working on your Mac?
I use xm8 on Mac, it works fine but you have to install parallels to run windows

How accurate are the measurements with the lidar
