I grabbed a CA adjuster license late last year and I've been slowly making my way into adjusting with some local daily claims while I wind down other business commitments. I was solely using desktop but I'm about to renew my subscription and will absolutely be adopting your methods and utilizing XM mobile. The way you're using these tools will be a game changer for me.

Thank you, my brother! Truly appreciate it man. I’m sure you’d an tell by my videos what my personality is like lol. Get to the d*mn point kinda guy. I will definitely add that link for the x4 as well. I have been gearing up for storm season so have been a little MIA the last few weeks. Planned on releasing one more batch of 3-5 videos next week prior to heading out to Cali (pending Hilary’s path). Then will get back at it around the end of October. I highly recommend going mobile (obviously) lol. It has changed the game for me. I am still learning and getting better every day. There are some hiccups I have here and there but they are all welcomed as I eventually figure it out and try to share with the group. I have big plans for this channel/brand and even plan on hitting the road in March to come train everyone in person, in their city. I am not a fan of how cut throat adjusters are toward new adjusters and I am here to change that. Secretly the experienced adjusters are scared that their profession is being figured out! Nothing wrong with a little competition!

Are you using the Xactimate to take the photos or the camera app on the iPad? These videos are a huge help for guys like me trying to break into this career field so thank you!
Unfortunately I am using the Camera app. Xactimate mobile for some reason does not let you take photos in the application while using a Bluetooth clicker like the chubby buttons 2.0, I use. So in order to keep my hands free, I am forced to take it outside of the app. Instead, the volume is affected when in the mobile app instead of the camera. IT DRIVES ME NUTS. For now, take it out of the app and then just upload when done with the inspection. Takes no time at all and will have to do until they make the fix. Myself and many others have filed a complaint so please also do so. The more complaints, the higher up the pole the issue goes ad will lead to the fix being applied faster.

They are stored in the cloud!
I guess I have to throw my fancy Bosch laser measure away! This looks way easier than the LiDAR feature or traditional sketch.
Much much easier. I have a NICE Bosch I got in the beginning of my career. It has sat in my glove box for almost 3 years now lol
@@parrotkey I ordered my DISTO yesterday and it will arrive today so I can practice on my home before taking it live Monday. Thanks for the very detailed informative videos. This business is all about fast turnaround and this method seems to be a huge time saver. You started to mention the LiDAR feature and I can confirm that it is TRASH, I was burned by it twice in one week and I haven’t used it since.
@@Donkor640I too have been affected by LiDAR in the mobile app lol One time of having to drive back to a property 3 hours away was enough for me haha. I will say this, I love docusketch and do use it for large consulting jobs I do. But that’s really it. All the small/regular homes or buildings are done on the mobile app. I think matterport is too expensive in my opinion. Sketches from them can be a bit over priced and the turn around is painfully slow.

Does that iPad have the wide angle lense?
Yes, we recommend that all photos be taken using the .5 zoom to maximize what the camera can capture. With that being said for your damage photos you may need to get a little closer then you normally would have to to allow for the .5 camera.

how are you taking the pictures ?
I take them within my camera app on my iPad and then transfer them to mobile when I sit in my truck. The chubby buttons do not work within the mobile application so I am forced to take them outside of the application. Be sure to request xactimate fixes this issue as it would help all of us greatly.
witch diasto are you using
X3 but I plan on upgrading again as I want to try to 4 or 5 out. I will say this X3 is incredible. I hav used the D2 before as well and it worked but it did not work that well outside.
are you on a cell phone plan or just 5g ?
I bought a cell phone plan for my iPad. BEYOND helpful to be honest.
My dristo dont work like that i never see it do it auto matic what am i donig wrong
I’ll do a video showing everyone how to do so.
Make sure it’s connected to the iPad or computer via Bluetooth.
Once connected, open up the sketch section in xactimate and you will see a laser tape measure symbol in the top right corner. Click on that and then make sure to click the DISTO once it drops down. Once there is a check mark, you are good to go!!

No problem at all! lol
So you will need to import them on the desktop version, and then delete and re-download the Xactimate Mobile app , that is how you will be able to get the two synced up. One quick reminder in the process because we have done it before, make sure to send all of your local projects back to the cloud before deleting the app, or they will be gone forever!

@@sailor310 Make sure to download them on the desktop version and upload them on the desktop version as well. Then they will be in your mobile app right away. We have another update coming soon for the macros. Found some minor changes that are needed. You will always get the updates once purchased. We update bi monthly most of the time.. We have some class dates as well if you need further help. You get $150 off as you bought the macros. January 3rd, 4th, and the 10th. I am making a video tomorrow to announce or other dates. We are going to hold classes 3 times a month up until storm season. Stay tuned for that post, my friend!
