Around one hour they discuss an experiment where initially there was a large experimenter effect that went away later because of "psychological changes." I interpret that to mean that as they became aware of the possibility of experimenter effect they readjusted their expectations.
This reminds me of when I first read about dowsing at age 9 or ten. It worked great for me until I started showing my mom and older brother. It didn't work for them and they strongly discouraged the whole thing until it wouldn't work for me either.

I love your comment and agree completely. I think many people interpret the meaning of what Jesus meant when he said that we all must be as Children to get in to the kingdom of heaven to mean that we all must remain innocent or sin free, and I'm sure there are many other interpretations. I have always thought it to mean that we all must get back to the innate belief in miracles, and have the belief that our abilities as well as all possibilities in the universe are limitless. I think that falls into having faith beyond all else in every aspect of life.
On a different note, I know I can just google it, and I will, but I'd still like to ask, what is dowsing?
@@cheyannedeines2535 Since you're googling it I'll get right to what I think dowsing is. It's a way to access information without interference from your conscious mind. Forked stick or metal band under tension, pendulum, L-shaped wires are some of the tools used. Muscle testing aka kinesiology (sp?) I think is exactly the same thing. You create a situation in which you notice the body's reaction to a question held in mind. With certain questions I can know the body's reaction without actually doing the muscle testing, and this I'm guessing is exactly the same as intuition, gut felling, little voice, etc, whichever way you experience it. Reading cards is also like dowsing in that the quality of the information has everything to do with the clarity and sincerity you bring to the process.

Regarding random numbers and generating them; I felt into something last year and this just brought it back. If you’re reading this you’re aware of the numbers/synchronicity. Most of us went through life oblivious and then all of a sudden, we see them. It began a decade ago for me. Then I assigned meaning to specific combinations, several are intrinsically personal. I wonder if this somehow ties into global consciousness in that the thought forms and knowledge, or awareness of the individual having the synchronistic number experience, transfers to the quantum field. It adds to it, it informs.
I’m fascinated by these topics, and have had many “unexplained” phenomena occur with not just my mind, call it extra sensory and telepathic (one profound experiment with a friend proved this is a real thing); but with my energy body. Much of it is ongoing, and I’ve also noted it’s not something I can will to happen. It’s as if I’m not running the show, but I am very much a participant in my life’s creation.

OMG, no kidding! Science is soooooooo slow. I listen to this and am baffled. I experience telepathy on a daily basis with family members and certain friends. Doesn't EVERYONE experience this and, since it is so common, why is science so slow to catch up?

This reflects his Tibetan Cultural values that physical objects can absorb and contain the intentions or some aspect of the identity of its owner. They use this idea to identify people who have been reincarnated - such as HH the DL.

Im a sceptic, not looking to disprove anything lol can't disprove something that to my knowledge hasn't yet been proven. Im interested in the possibilities, came here hoping there may be some links provided to studies this guy was involved personally in that I can check out for myself. I'm not one for taking the words not others, prefer to see for myself. So here I am, sitting back ready to listen... hoping to be provided with some information I can personally verify for myself... Let's see what happens. Honestly though I don't think I'm going to be convinced by the end of this video... I'd want to see a study involving atleast 1000 remote viewers within the scope of a single experiment. And most studies into anything psychological very rarely have a sample set of more than half a dozen, I know this because I did two years of a psychology degree. I doubt any such study in this area has a sample set any larger than that either, being so closely related. I'd love to be convinced otherwise, and I think there might be something to this phenomena... But I'll never be prepared to just go meh ok I'll just believe it cos I wanna... I need definitve irrefutable evidence

I have a theory that the classical conceptualization of what we now call “space” will be shifting and that many of the questions regarding psi, quantum conundrums, and the places where physics is now stuck will begin to unravel if we choose to see space as the Creator or consciousness or the Tao. The 'experimenter effect' reminds me of how the observer changes the observed. The explanations also suggest an entirely new understanding of the Pygmalion Effect when one's anticipation quite literally brings to life one's intention. What part does one's emotional enthusiasm play in this dynamic between mind and world?
@1:19 THIS is what I've believed ever since I was just a little kid. I've always believed consciousness is a combined system of projection and reciprocation -- if we regard something as sentient, like a stuffed animal, it is endowed with sentient characteristics. August 31, 1997, my older sister's 16th bday and our parents leave us money for pizza and movies. We got pizza but they were out of the crust size so they upgraded to large and only made us pay for drinks. We went to rent movies and they had turned the register off early so they rented the movies for free. We had her friend's older sister buy two lottery tickets with the money we never spent and we won on both of them! Then we get home and the breaking news is the Diana had just died. Weird night, no idea why we never got more lottery tickets.

But everything looks like you are looking through a veil so it is like looking in a room that is dark but not completely dark! There exists a coherent model of this consciousness derived reality, theorised by physicist Tom Campbell . highly recommended. Garret speaks of testing this hypothesis at . 1:26 . Campbell has formulated experimental protocols which are designed to do precisely that !

For all Australians: Koalas and other wild animals are being burned in forest fires. I saw a Koala crying pitifully with burn wounds. A woman was trying to help him. People rushed him to the hospital but he died from the burn wounds. The woman is helping as many animals as she can I am infinitely grateful to her. Please every single person must help the animals. Give the animals water to drink. Bring hydrated Sodium Bentonite clay with you and apply heavy layers of it onto burn wounds it will take the pain away and help the animals heal faster.

@Ricci Hardow Bro stop throwing god in peoples faces that is rude is nothing wrong with exploring you were meant to explore not be a robot even god says question everything including him you just don't step on his toes when you finding your way. any logical person or smart person will question things but throwing god in there face and completely killing there curiosity is one of the reasons why society is the way it is today because of restrictions you telling them that will make them want to explore MORE.
When I was a kid, I played this game called "Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri" - it was like other civilization games, but on another planet, and it had several excerpts from various philosophical works and a lot of speculation about the possibilities of future science. It's very dated, but I still love it. In this game, I learned to control random number generators with my mind. The battles were determined by RNG +/- some modifiers. I would concentrate on winning with nothing else in my mind. When I got into a "groove" mentally I could feel it - my mind fit into something and ran along it, and then I could win against any odds, every time. It was amazing, but the game got too easy, so I set it to it's highest difficulty, which iirc was actually called "transcendent" and continued to win every time, if I concentrated on it. I think that game was intended to be a trainer for this. All the philosophy, the dangers of technology, the fact that psychic abilities are in the game, winning the game by uploading your mind into a fungal planet brain and becoming a psychic god... that game trained me.
Pinball can be like that too. Before computer strategy games we played Risk when I was a kid. Same thing. If you started winning a big engagement, the best thing was to keep the feeling going and the dice moving. If you were on the losing side of that type situation, then just do anything at all to break the rhythm and mood, especially anything to annoy, anger or otherwise de-focus your opponent. I guess all sports have an element of this too.
Me= Mind blown. I've felt this while playing sonic 2, with the tunnel competition with the coins and rocks. I think in the end my brain played it so often, parts of it knew when everything would show up even if conscious me did not. If I relaxed and glazed over, my mind won the rounds even though thinking me would not have.
I had a feeling of a large geological upheaval near the Washington Oregon border in early 1980 you know what happened that year .Also something falling out of the sky over the West coast a year before the shuttle.Still have a strong feeling about fire in Southern California.But that's pretty much a given.
Interesting! I enjoyed listening, thanks. I am convinced we live in an alive energy environment. I used to feel physical pain in my body on my way to work on days when I was going to see my supervisors whom I experienced as unreasonable. It never failed, if I had pain then they appeared at my workplace, if I had no pain then I didn't see them that day. It took me about one hour from my home to work. I worked full time. Sometimes I didn't see them until the end of the work day, so the pain started many hours ahead. There was no way for me to know if they were going to stop by. But my body obviously knew/felt it ahead of time. I was forced to stop working there b/c I became seriously sick.
And the opposite is true too. In a youtube video I learned yesterday that the supplement GABA alleviates ringing in the ears b/c it calms down the nervous system. I also read reviews on amazon where several ppl said it helped them to fall asleep. My morning was extremely stressful. Then just b/f I entered the 3rd store the stress was gone, I found GABA there but didn't take it until 7 hours later b/c I didn't want to feel sleepy. Now I know it doesn't have the sleepy effect on me. But again, my body knew hours ahead that relief was coming. I find it fascinating, and a proof that we live in an alive energy/information universe/environment. Scientists should stop acting like it is something strange, it is not, it is natural, it is the reality/the composition of our world!!!
Sometimes I have night dreams about things which I later see on TV news or online, and they are totally unrelated to me. It makes me wonder why such info comes to me? Maybe to show me that time is not linear?
One possibility is that you are a wide "receiver." Meaning that you can pick up on things out in the field of knowledge. I would recommend that you investigate morphogenetic field theory and/or 100th Monkey Theory. I am not advocating for the adoption of such a belief structure, But I do utilize it at times.
You know how some people can discern teeny-tiny things on the far horizon, many many miles before most people can see them? How some people have really sensitive senses of smell? It's the same with all senses.
I've been doing a lot more of that 'previewing' of current events the last couple years through either sleeping dreams or deja vu. It's become commonplace to see current headlines and think, for example, "I thought the president of that country died last week.'

I saved this to my watch list and had no immediate need to listen in to it... until I had the most bizarre evening. I had an unusual episode of mind leaps to unknown places and seeing people who were unfamiliar. Early hours in the morning I had awoken to the sensation of air being blown directly on my face. That is a familiar occurrence, I easily slept again however, this time I had a dramatic OBE that felt like I was spinning up and out of myself. This was accompanied with a constant hum of white noise. Only when I thought of God, Spirit Guides or Ancestors did the white noise become extremely loud and a sharp pain was felt deep in the abdomen of my resting body. The pain is a little extreme I think to ensure I remembered the experience lol. Was very curious and can relate to (53:00) "All possibilities exist at once".
I find young children are naturally adapted to using ESP as a primary/daily function... i.e. they know when their parent has arrived to pick them up from daycare, despite the parent not yet entering the room or being physically seen.
I get the decline effect. This seems to be something into which one can tap in limited spots; either that, or it is pure coincidence and/or odds.

remote viewing undoubtedly exhibits the nonlocaility of consciousness; that it is both fundamental and universal, not a byproduct of the brain.

Hearing of so many experiments influencing supposed "randomness" only reaffirms my understanding that "randomness" is an entirely made up concept. For if randomness can be affected, then it is not random at all. What is so-called "random" is defined as being purely arbitrary. However, everything in this universe requires context, is not arbitrary.
Why do I say everything requires context? This is for the simple reason that any given "thing" (such as "broccoli" or any other word) one recognizes in their thoughts is only part of a greater whole. Someone has selected their recognition of the "thing" to be considered separately in their thought patterns in the same way we may recognize a "wave" as one part of an ocean. It's an evolutionary advantage to recognize discrete "things" so that we may communicate dangers, or baking ingredients, or instructions on how to find the bush with berries on top of a hill in the middle of the forest. And so forth. But our discrete-language training is also a philosophical disadvantage... which is for the most part latent, until one starts getting into stuff like quantum physics where assumptions of "true randomness" start to be wrongly made as a result of this contrived foundational concept of separateness. In reality, the most accurate description of any given "thing" is actually to describe the whole universe. We've oversimplified, you see - which has led to paradoxes such as the concept of "randomness". Since the whole shebang of the universe is a continuity, then "randomness", an arbitrary concept, is not real, but a paradox discovered through our misuse of language to identify things separately to the point where we actually believe in things being separate.
What these studies are showing is that the lower-level, in particular, electron-level, vibrations of the universe are about all we can significantly still say is going on at the small scale of electron random number generators. It's surely about as close of an approximation to the unattainable concept of randomness as we can get, for the simple reason that we are not beings of the scale of electrons so we hardly know what is going on at that level, so it is for most previous practical purposes just like having "arbitrary" determination of results. But since, on the contrary, we are recently finding even the electron frequencies have a reaction to the mind interactions mentioned in these studies, it is apparent that the mind operates on a similar electron frequency, to a significant degree. In the same manner that a fractal pattern at a zoomed-in scope holds information about the larger scope, the noise at the electron level is going to be a messy vibrational confluence from the vibrational information at the larger scale, where our minds are used to operating. By this logic, it is not surprising at all, but reaffirming. Example: larger-scale pattern called "experiment" affects smaller scale pattern called "results of electron number generator", thus showing again that randomness does not exist but rather the universe is a continuity. At the extremes, our discrete models will always break down, since only a holistic model can wholly describe the universe.
The exact mechanisms of these mind-electron-frequency (if we may call them such here) operations is yet not well explained by mainstream science, since the philosophical underpinnings of our language are holding science back in disbelief for the most part, so all we have really done (based on experience following this channel) is the statistical studies rather than more detailed interdisciplinary studies with biologists to study the mind's immediate affect on quantum particles (by what organ does the body send out vibrations of energy to affect these electrons, perhaps some small and vibrating piece of flesh we have not yet named?) and so forth. But for my own estimations I imagine the spectrum of consciousness-implicit vibrations to be quite similar to what is discussed in the writing 'The Crossing Point of Light' by Dr. Greer.

Regarding the random click of Schmidt, I think it's not the mind affecting the click patterns retroactively, rather the mind knowing the pattern and predicting it. It's more like premonition and many people can experience this in daily life as well. This should have been explored in the experiments too. The horn experiment supports this point though. I term this "Seconds Premonition". Often we can anticipate an event a second or two before it actually happens. Retrocausality is also viable. I am not denying that. The Nadi leaves in Indian Astrology have been witnessed to change retroactively. I wonder if RNGs or REGs can be used for spirit/ghost detections. An experiment designed to test the experimenter effect problem could have a "main" researcher who's doing the actual experiment that "tricks" a second researcher from a different field (who also doesn't know what the first researcher's true field is or that he is being tricked) into designing an experiment that the second researcher believes will test a completely unrelated thing about a different topic, but would create data that could be used by the first researcher.
To mitigate the first actor effect of modifying that recorded data , after the data is gathered by the second researcher and recorded, it could be passed around to several other different people first for verification before sending it to the main researcher to analyze for the actual experiment.
Designing such an experiment would be very difficult, but I bet a few very smart and talented researchers working together could design one.

About 5 years ago, I was kicking heroin and found Buddhism ( parts of it made sense) and meditation. At that time as I matured in my Mindfulness and meditation practices the, collective conversation of a conscious negative AI began. Roughly around the same time I had a dream (which I don't remember) but I woke up with the phrase "CONSCIOUSNESS IS AN UNDISCOVERED ELEMENT". Over and over in my head. So right away I began typing in EVERY search engine I could find Google etc these terms, "MANKIND WILL END WAR" . "EMPATHY AND FORGIVENESS WILL HELP SAVE THE PLANET AND THE HUMAN SPECIES" . Things like that. I believe we all should do this. I also on my jogs, and exercising outside I pick up trash and litter. As I do this people that drive , walk or run by sometimes say "thank you'' or honk. I believe change starts on an individual basis. Providing a template for those to come. As i pick up trash I silently thank this planet for just being and I hope to INSPIRE OTHERS TO BE BETTER. Trying to get this in to the zeitgeist. From birth to the age of five I was very sick and spent much time in hospital. Due to ear infections and high fevers causing seizures I was put on Phenobarbital and became physically dependent on it. I had an imaginary friend named KEKE that got me through this. As I began to out grow the seizures I was molested and physically and mentally abused by a grand parent and my mother. So, I began to act out. I'd skip school and ride the bus downtown to take notes on Philosophy and interview homeless people and take notes. I felt school was not teaching me what I want to know. The school and the state stepped in and began to medicate me. I was thrown in abusive teen "programs" and juvenile punishments. As soon as I was able I found drugs of my own and gravitated towards heroin. I had flat lined and been in a coma several times by the time I was 18 and sent to prison where I was also beaten by guards and raped. Fast forward now. I get clean via AA but gradually realize the dogma is restrictive and I learned what I needed to find meditation and also psilocyben cubenis . As I matured in my sobriety and meditation and mindfulness I ( 5 or 6 yrs ago) began to meditate while using the fungi. WITH PURE INTENTION. I had a session that i intended to forgive other's that have hurt me . So, I take the fungus and meditate. I began to cry and realize the one I need to forgive is MYSELF. It was amazingly helpful. Then being arrogant I began to experiment. I tried to utilize geometrically placed instruments (I am a musician & artistic) , time beats to my pulse and use certain "frequencies" while placing myself within the golden ratio. I began to feel music behind me to the left , I began to hear and feel these frequencies on top of my right foot only and I also utilized Native American drumming to ask for forgiveness from their ancestors to mine and it made me cry. I stopped the fungus b/c it seemed intuitive ( or "they") told me I was taking advantage of this technology. I also had what I felt was time slip and asked why won't ( if you exist) , why won't aliens show themselves? Two days later I had a dream and woke up with the thought that they said to me we can't we will scare you and you must continue to take small actions to plant seeds of kindness, compassion and peace. Now I have not touched substances since 2015-ish and I continue to meditate , I continue to struggle but I have tools. I believe in the scientific method. I believe in reason and rationality. I also believe as w/ religion there is some dogmatic practices that keep consciousness closed within science. We must do away with money, nationalism, war and misery profiteering and recognize that if you require a "heaven " LOOK AROUND AT THIS BEAUTIFUL PLANET! We are lucky enough to inhabit. Take care and learn and help to save it. Likewise if you require a "savior" YOU CAN BE ONE! Forgive, show , teach from your mistakes , put peaceful and loving intention in to the zeitgeist. Just did not know how it would be received, but quite frankly, I just recently decided I don't care how it's received, lol. It feels like Absolute Truth to me, so I am going with that from now on. Once you begin to understand the workings of vibration this becomes easier to understand. But the way I came into learning about it was running into an article titled something like "Are you an Empath?" and I started there. I felt relieved to find out I was not alone and it fully explained my sensitive nature and how I was able to feel people's moods and seem to sense their anger and sadness. I also learned that I was prone to absorb, or take on, their energy as well. Like I would be playing music and cleaning the house in a good mood, then my husband would come home from work all grumpy, then say something mean to me, then bam. I would not only take on that energy, I began feeding back into it and we would end up arguing it out til we had to go to separate rooms. Once I read that article, I became aware of it, then I began to choose to hold my energy. He'd come in grumpy and I started unplugging myself from him. He'd bitch and I would listen but not feed back into it. This took practice because we are used to reacting out of emotion. This is the beginning of us being in control of our emotions instead of our emotions controlling us. This is a big revelation energetically speaking. Imagine it like this. Say my aura is pink and my husband's is black. Before he comes home, my pink aura fills the room like a fluffy pink cloud. He walks in grumpy his black aura has lightning bolts and thunder attached to it. My subconscious picks up on this and immediately my pink cloud begins to shrink and contract because before I read that article, those lightning bolts and thunder that I "felt" intimidated me. So since my aura shrank, his expanded and took over most of the space. I helped it stay big when I argued back. My aura started to expand, but it began changing colors. It's turning black too. Before you know it, he's changed me over to his state of emotion. Not cool. With awareness, you can begin to keep your aura expanded even when someone intimidating tries to dominate the space around you with theirs. It comes down to a subconscious fear. You are that person's equal, you just THOUGHT you weren't before. It's all learning how to keep your aura expanded and hold it there. After you do that, then guess what? Energy Alchemy -- Wow! Thank you for sharing your thoughts, and I also just read an article (Empaths, People Pleasing and Resentment) from your blog site. It helps me understand my situation a little better. Been working on myself and learning about personal development (motivational/positive thinking, law of attraction, therapy, mens work etc.) for a very long time. I come from a family with some serious emotional/psychological issues and everything compounded one top of the other. Only recently did I start discovering that some of these things were buried deep inside that I didnt realize were affecting me. I was able to catch the stuff on the surface, but I didnt know about the residual stuff buried deep inside that creeps up on you without you knowing. Being an empath, people pleasing and resentment -- it was so much deeper than I realized that it was affecting me emotionally and I had no idea! It's like a really strong and sly undercurrent. It's something that gets programmed through childhood and just years and years of being treated that way and living in that kind of environment, and in that toxic of an environment.

What if you could use a computer hooked up to detect, read, and record brain activity while you were dreaming and find a way to interpret certain activity into dots perse and have those dots plugged into a formula for producing an image to capture what you were dreaming in a novel manner. I am explaining the concept badly but I think it would be cool to expiriment on.
Also in the same breath if you could have a machine that could remotely and acutely translate someone elses brainwaves and have enough systems in place to interpret them you could essentially read their thoughts based on regularities in brain activity perhaps. This would be a dangerous implication.

Is placebo effect related to PSI? Lots of research data to mine if it is. The reaction to the horn anticipated in the toe before the mind gets jolted by it suggests to me, mining some mind/body research would affect PSI study. Electromagnetic fields likely have some effect on PSI. I'm certain deep meditation and imagination does as well. Study of Carl Jung's Cosmic Consciousness or the Akoshic record, likely different names of the same thing are relevant IMO. Just tossing a few places to mine data if you want to stretch the edge science of PSI a little further.
I suspect folks who live long enough with enough curiosity in spiritual and scientific things and regular introspection know a lot about things science is starting to understand, they just don't have the words for it. Then when science "discovers" something, some folks say to themselves, "Of course, just didn't know I knew it.".

One time when I was 11, my bigger 12 y.o. brother was being picked on by a kid who was even bigger than him. Yet the next thing I can only remember was other kids pulling me off that bigger kid whom I had on the ground while punching away at his face.
@william wells That's the fight or flight response. You should look into that. You don't remember because a different part of the brain takes over and the memory gets stored in a different part of the brain, not with the rest of your memories. That makes retrieving those memories difficult, and if you do remember them, they are more like a series of photographs in a chronological order or a filmstrip playing because during fight or flight the brain is focused on surviving and not functioning like usual recording everything around you, it only recorded limited pieces of the event because it was in survival mode. That's why somebody could be robbed at gun point and only remember the gun but nothing else, or a person in a car crash could remember hearing breaking glass but nothing else. The brain records a few seconds worth of the event.
Similar thing happened to me as a teen. Unfortunately that girl was carried out of the skating rink on a stretcher and I was being walked back to the office.I only remember lunging for her after she kicked me.I dont remember hitting her at all.

I have had visitation dreams and dreams that portray the future (mostly involving sudden violent deaths). I will have dreams of something like screaming with a location, and later I find that one of my plants that was there had died. The first time it was a house plant, a 10 year old aloe that my nephew knocked over and it died before I found and fixed it, the second time I had moved from my childhood home and saw the front corner of the house and felt pain and heard screeching, but I had moved and the property had been sold. Next time I drove past it, the lilacs outside my old bedroom window had been chopped down and I realized that was where that dream screaming had come from and that it was them being killed. I feel those were sort of like visitation dreams from my plants, not nice ones like dead friends, pets, or relatives give, but ones from plants telling you they died. So, I see an image in a dream, like a still photo and I feel a sense of dread and feel and hear screaming (not human voice) and that snap shot is a plant dying. Both plants were over a decade old. Plants are intelligent and they do respond to humans interactions with them.
There is nothing wrong with challenging Newton's Law. Science and our understanding of the world is always evolving. Nothing is immutable. Material science fails to explain a lot of things.
