      To be fair, an F1 game with a simple home setup with a decent force feedback wheel and helmet view is not bad. Can also get an idea of how difficult it is to drive too ;) Obviously still no where near the real thing, but pretty cool. Especially doing the same track with a normal car after in an F1 car, the F1 has sooo much more grip.

      @Ryan 420 "unusual for a v6".. It's the opposite. The hybrid cars have massive amounts of energy being recovered through the turning of the rear wheels and make much more torque than the previous generation engines. A higher torque output also means there is higher torque required on input from the driveline when off throttle.

    • @macemaster5295
      @macemaster5295 Před 2 lety

      @Toasted' Nugget_' Also the track isn't, it's just the sides of the track. That are bumpy. The tacks do have slight elevation change though. But it's all gradual to keep consistency.

      I think you might be surprised how little they use their mirrors!
      These guys know where an overtaking move is likely to happen based on instincts, corner characteristics, the tow you're providing for the guy behind and how well you've come off a corner etc.
      Using your mirrors is one of the biggest distractions - it would be so easy to miss your breaking point etc if you're concentrating overly on what's happening behind.
