      Exactly. Hamilton is a great driver, no one can deny that and I respect him for that. But his misplaced complaints when things don't go his way make him very unlikeable. For the driver he is I hope to see him go at it many seasons though. :)

      The car on the inside will have to brake since he is on the narrower line.

      And only overtook Leclerc because Leclerc dodged him and went off the track or he would have ended up on the barriers like Max.

      Yups. He is just using his car's massive engine power. Breaking early than before cause he know he'll catch the other car at straight.
      Funny thing is everyone praise his driving at Brazil. All I see a monster vehicle passing everyone at straight. Where was he before this engine update?
      He forgot how to race after Rosberg left cause until this year he had no rival (Actually Mercedes had no rival :P).

      @@gummygnom I have to disagree, I think with Szafnuer moving there and now Prost being moved out from Advisor it shows they are obviously trying to build a better foundation for next year and it's been reported they were one of the earliest teams to adjust to the new fuel, they will have a big challenge with possible Ferrari resurgence but other than that there will surely be a few wins and podiums, maybe title challenge we'll see

But I think it would have been better if they changed directory and advisory staff before the 2021 season instead of three months before the coming season, because new staff first have to get used to the team during this year before they can use their full potential. Nailing the car AND the staff for this season is key, but anything could happen for sure.

    6:26 Drivers should take notes on this, that's how you defend hard but fair. Alonso starts going wide in the middle of the corner and thus leaves Hamilton time to react and adjust his line.
    In most occasions the driver on the inside will allow the driver on the outside to remain side by side until the exit where they leave no space and thus push the other driver off.
    If you remember what Karun Chandhok said about Max and Lewis at Interlagos, this is what he probably meant. At least this is how you properly make that move. It also shows what kind of corner you need for that move to be done clean and fair. Props to Alonso for this.

But you don’t know about them anyway since you’re a DTS fan. Hamilton pulled of amazing overtakes in his McLaren days, without the “dominant car”
      Since you’re started watching F1 4 years ago, here’s some of the best examples :
      Amazing Divebomb on Kimi at Monza (2007)
      Overtake on Rosberg at Turn 11 of all places at Albert Park (2010)
      Overtake on Vettel for the lead in China (2011)
      Overtakes Fisichella on the grass at Europe (2007)
      Amazing overtake around the outside of Raikkonen in the wet at China (2009)
      Were all this done with a dominant car, you muppet?

      sadly a lot of scenes aren´t included. e.g. you can think of abu dhabi what you want, but the last lap was just awesome to watch from Max´s perspective

    The fact that Alonso spins that easily after the Bottas/Russell Imola incident just shows how much a spillage/debris effects a cars stability and grip.

      I think it was more that he was on slicks on a wet surface with not enough speed for the aero to take effect

      spillage and debris mainly effects the chance of a tyre getting a puncture or possible damage to the cars under flooor/aero/wings

    7:15 it's called racing lewis. just shut your yap. head down and try something which actually works. turn 6 doesnt work unless you're at least a tyre ahead. i dont think alonso just moved over without being sure you werent there. he knew exactly what to do.

      @@orlandohenriques5642 that's mainly cuz hamilton complaints about everything all the time. at this point his complaints are just not creditable anymore. and more often then not. when verstappen complaints, it's justified. and despite me being a dutchie i do have this to say bout the monza incident. verstappens complaint may not have been justified but the move surtainly was. i've heard a lot off creditable people (best one is scott mansell IMO) saying they would've done the same. as a simracing driver i will have to agree.

    Two stand out magic moments. Kiwi’s incredible car control, finding grip. Alonso’s car positioning and raw speed and awareness. Two old dogs. Where was Norris’s overtake at Monza though? I’d love to see his viewpoint on that one.
